Update: TWIN TURBO FERRARI F12 FIRST START UP AFTER A YEAR!

what an absolutely awesome day we have here in the okanagan you guys tools a little dirty from a windstorm last night i got some pool duties to do welcome back to another episode of daily driven exotics this one is gonna have a lot of updates so first of all you'll notice the garage is a little on the low side for supercars we have only one car here one guess what it is that's right if you guessed the huracan evo of puerto you would be right today we have some major updates i'm waiting for a call or a text from aaron kaufman who if you didn't know and you're new to the channel is building the world's first top mount twin turbo v12 f12 that's right a ferrari f12 with twin turbos but not only twin turbos they are mounted on the very top of the motor they will be sticking out of the hood so we're gonna have a major update today because today's supposed to be the very first startup of that car after a year being built so aaron's been diligently working for the past year it's been a bit of a process because just due to the overwhelming shortage of supplies and materials globally like even right now here in canada the astronomical price of wood is completely skyrocketed simple economic supply and demand there is a low supply and there is a huge demand for example there's a home being built right up behind my house and that home i couldn't even imagine what it's costing to build that versus what it would have cost let's say 12 months ago so we're going to take the cover off of the huracan evo aperto we're gonna put some heat in the engine and we're gonna go and pick up our favorite best friend of mine dave from the airport he's flying in we have the 675lt what mods are we gonna do that car what can you do to a 6m5 lt i don't really know to be honest but we're gonna find out together i will await aaron's call hopefully some form of a video update on the very first i can't even tell you how excited i am the very first startup of the twin turbo f12 now the front end isn't completely assembled i believe he said there won't be like headlights or a front bumper or anything like that all he's assembled is the engine back together and all of the turbo parts and we're gonna go for the very first startup i'm praying fingers crossed this car is gonna run like i said it's been over a year and some of these cars aren't coming back we're gonna be selling more cars and for a good reason we want to kind of consolidate some of our cars for the lack of a better word some of the cheaper cars and maybe finally dive in and get that hyper car that now we can like the white like jeez settle down so aggressive i get it we actually intended to buy these helmets and then have a livery done on them we tried vinyl it didn't turn out to look the way we wanted it to and getting it painted is a crazy process we will figure it out don't you worry now i just got a really exciting text while i was picking dave up and aaron kaufman just said in an hour he's gonna send me a video that he thinks i'm gonna like so i don't know what it is fingers crossed it's the car starting up of the twin turbo f12 hell yeah now in the meantime you wanna go get your 675lt or what yes please what are you gonna do to it i don't know your gtr is pretty inspirational i've seen some comments and some ideas from the audience but and what did they say they said do kind of like the same thing as you did on the 720. don't like paint the car but use the existing color with the final library to make it look like the lark livery that you did using cut vinyl oh how would you do that i don't know that's your job just cut out some vinyl make it happen today yeah i don't think that's how it works dave but all right all right let's head over to august you put a tracking chip in grab that from in his office that was pretty good we tried round one with a hyper car insurance didn't work out i did my homework and we figured out how to get insurance so i'm gonna reveal the audience that if we sold the lack of a better word some of the cheaper cars we consolidate into one car i found a car i think you'll approve and what do you think of that that'd be fun right it's very cool look at this this one's in the uk this one's 300 grand cheaper but it's also a year older oh the other one's 65 you guys to get it here did you get it here yeah what like air freight it well you could ship it over a month or something on a you don't put a three million dollar car in a box it's not three million it's down it's down it's down the chips are down buy it low sell high okay guys here's what we're looking at this is one of my dream cars an amazing car one of the best things about this brand is the engine the manufacturing it's all one of one there are no other cars in the marketplace with this engine set up there are no other cars in the marketplace with this type of pedigree with its heritage they don't have any entry-level cars so let's just put it that way these cars won't be made ever again they won't be made like the whole generation of all this and this technology like this is it this is it what if we got a bugatti veyron so this one's blue with black trim the interior's like blue and cream i really really like this color scheme and the best part is there was one state side i'd have to check it's still available now this one's a 2007 and it's going for 1.168 usd it's currently sitting in the united kingdom but we also have this one this is basically the same car but this is an 08 but this one's had the wheels blacked out the front grille blacked out basically the windows are all tinted black i just love this now i could do this to that other one and save a few hundred thousand i think there were some newer things on the oh wait that uncle raider windshield twin turbo f12 and we'll already have sold the r34 gtr what else is left that's my car those are off the table i tell all the little cars to just get a bugatti oh i know what you guys think i've been eyeballing bugattis for a while and i would just really like to have one how epic would the garage be if it was a bugatti veyron porsche career gt and a manual for chilago lp640 and 675lt go ahead [Music] okay guys damon's been snaking you long enough about this whole f12 update i've seen the clip and it's very exciting because well the car starts so without further ado aaron show the audience the f12 starting the very first time so do you think sounds good completely stock it does i like these i uh i showed the audience i showed them what i showed them the clip of the f12 starting hey didn't you don't have it i gave it to jamie in the future when this goes uploaded i got from your phone and they saw it how pumped to you oh running i'm super pumped you see that twin turbos on an f12 what the who's excited to actually see that thing like revving where you can really hear it it kind of sounds muscly it does let me probably some little flame action popping there'll be flames we're gonna get it tuned i'm really excited you guys we had a lot of conversations about what that car is gonna run on for fuel so we went back and forth about you know ethanol or all that sort of stuff it's going to run on pump gas we're going to make sure we run it on a high octane pump gas so that at the end of the day it's daily drivable we can drive it around i can't get that deodorant exotic that's right this is daily driven exotic we are also the anti-collector collector club because somehow we're anti-collector but we've collected all these cars okay guys time to reveal what is in the box hey this is the first time since i moved in no cars in here none zero we got lifts and no cars i could picture it though a bugatti veyron in here the career gt and the manual mercia logo three of my dream cars that'd be crazy we got some work to do have a really good summer we could probably just get a bear on without having to sacrifice a whole bunch of the other cars it really depends on how attached i get to the aperture we just drove it today i love it but it really needs to be somewhere more tropical than canada i can't wait to get that card down to california and drive it around and there's even some locations like just rodeo drive beverly hills would be fun to drive that car without a helmet on the 720 gtr i am absolutely in love with that car that car would be really hard to let go of twin turbo f12 all obviously no secret there it'd be impossible to let go of that car at the moment i haven't even driven it yet it's just an absolute dream car of mine just like a bugatti i mean that's a car that was my vision my idea concept and it's taken so long to make it happen good things come to those who wait so i'm excited to get this car regardless of that i'd still like a bugatti hopefully one day i will earn one that's what it's all about earning it now dave and i teamed up with my friend ryan at protective film solutions to make a special product line stops with one to one and a half million dollar cars now we also want a car for long-term investment reasons so over the course of two or three or four years like i've had the the murcielago the value is going to go this way okay i found an f40 for 1-3 it was a daily driven car it had higher mileage it had some aftermarket hre wheels on it it was really cool looking you guys let me know in the comments if we were to get rid of a couple of cars now or do we wait and just keep saving some money up is the veron a good choice for this channel it's personal dream car of mine when you just have that bugatti logo it's like you kind of feel like you've made it because they don't have an entry-level car they don't they really don't and done it's that so here we go you guys will see more of this
