UNWANTED VISITOR when tent camping in the WILD.

[Applause] there is again [Applause] so tonight I'm out doing a permission modeling Camp I'm going to be trying a second and tent that I got out of a bundle by I got six tenths for 100 pound I think it was so there's one of the tents that is a tent that I always wanted class is a dream tent so it's your temp what you've always wanted but at times you couldn't be able afford to get it so I managed to get out of in the bundle by so I'm very excited to try in that tin in this video and I've also got another new twig burning stove but it's very very different to the previous ones [Music] [Music] I'm looking forward to this camp like I said no it's been dream tent it's a tent that I wanted for a long time beginning of my YouTube channel let's say I couldn't really afford the most expensive tents let's say I currently afford the low budget ones and I mean they're really low budget ones but this one is a tent like I said I want it for a while and this is a new little store that I'm going to show you this is amazing it cost me a bit of money but I think when I show you guys it you'll understand why I wanted it [Music] foreign [Music] it there always an issue when it were on sale you know bringing up kids having a job it is quite hard and I think it's still ahead to this day to be truthful my kids are growing up a little bit now but I always wanted this tent and I could never ever afford it then like I didn't begin that video I brought a bundle of tents from the pound and this one were in it now you can see the damage on the bag there so it's got a clear rip and there's the uh Clips what's supposed to keep the tent in place but you can see it's damaged so I do need to change this but the tent isn't too bad from what I've seen putting it up once anyway so before I take the tent out somewhere decent I think this sort of video is the way you should do it Garden or if you've got a bit of private Woodland to go go there test your equipment before you take it further the field then if there's something wrong you're not stuck away from away from home and then you've got yourself an issue so this is an inner pitch first now not a lot of people like in a pitch first tense but in a pitch first tent a good for summer time so you can have the poles and you can just have the inner tent and the mesh when it's nice warm summer nights you all put the Stars some people like the outer pitch first tense but then you can't use it inner for summertime what I'll do is I'll get the inner setup with the poles then I'll bring you back and then we'll throw on the fly sheet and I'll show you that as well so this is the inner of the tent it does have like a very small back to buy the here and then it's got some material to help keep the wind out from where your head's going to be so it's head level but then it's got all this open point at the door so I don't really see the point of him doing it so far well all the way around let's say then just stopping at the door you think they would have at least carried it through to then or even I'd like that same material but as a double door idea so I don't yeah it might keep the wind around you from coming like the breeze but at the direction it's just not going to work like that is it is a very nice tent especially like this [Music] I'm gonna have to do something about the zip because the zip is so dry yeah I'm have to see if I can find something on internet for that I know I think you can rub a crayon down at a summit someone once told me a bit of candle wax that'll work I'm inside the tent and the summit that I've realized what I didn't when I first take the scent take this tent up set the tent up the Smalls I've got one two three Aussie on the top of the tent and if it does red well that's the point where it's going to come down I'll show you that I'll see if I can show you I don't know if I can do but I might be able to see the sky through it a little bit here you can see two of them here there's another one there I can see all three now there look um foreign outside the tent out with them three holes in it I'm not sure if it's going to solve it for a long time but short term fix I've got an idea and that's only because like I said I've got two new pieces of item that I'm going to try tonight that is a new Ox sleeping mat and their new XL 300 sleeping bag so within the sleeping mat you get like some patches in case that gets an all in it so I'm going to use them hopefully to repair the tent so the new Air Matt is a it's quite baseless it's quite thick and it's got the X there but this x is like got some it's made out of some sort of silicone to stop you uh slipping down that seems to be their new sort of logo idea this is the XL 300 one it's quite padded synthetic it's not a down one my trusty puller if he uh a returning view of my channel you know all about me puller so I'll cut the wood up earlier to small pieces and that's because this little store is quite small check out the stove it's got little deers a deer laying down monster up there it's got a little front-facing glass so you can sit in your tent around it and you can see the fire burning so tonight is its first burn as well on camera so you guys can see me doing that as well I'll bring that to you in a minute [Music] foreign maybe if I can leave the feeding door open and they need a bigger pieces I can just sort of feed them in like that if you know what I mean but I've cut most of them to the right size [Applause] if you ask me that's going pretty well that stuff so what I'm thinking is this glass may go black like here the hot tent stoves do and as the heat builds up inside it more than the uh the glass will clean itself sort of thing but that's working fantastic let me know what you think in the comments below please I'm very interested to turn other people's thoughts about this little stuff so I've just put some more wood in the little stove I'll let it die down for a bit so it's starting to fire up again because we are going to be cooking the first course salmon if you subscribe to my channel you know for well I do like to cook salmon quite a few times on my videos you can clearly see the deals now okay I've worked out if you leave the door open more airflow gets through so it intends to burn the wood a bit better because how it's starting there now anyway it is a tiny little stuff you know compared to my handlets I don't know don't touch that div you know I'm opening my fingers wide there and it's just a little bit bigger than that maybe seven inch something like that AliExpress that's where I got it from [Music] there we go flavors are coming out now time to stick the pan on so my pan is the new frying pan [Music] along handle on it it's a bit of overkill for this stove really so I'll have to keep a very close eye on that [Music] all right so I put a bit of oil in the pan cook the fish yes Sizzle vizzle whatever it's called there we go because the fish is quite small it's not going to take long either so that's a bit of a bonus all right so I need to turn the fish over so I'm going to try to do it with these two sticks without knocking the whole thing over and I think that may happen [Music] so I just removed it off the heat I think it's a little bit too hot for this but there's no I can do about it you know it's going to be nice anyway [Music] hmm now I know what people are going to say flavoring I just wanted to taste the salmon tonight many times I've been out and I've cooked salmon and I always feel like I'm able to maybe have over flavored it so I'm thinking you know what I just want to taste the salmon itself I don't want no elf ruining the taste of it hmm and that is fantastic it really is right so next round of food is a chicken stir fry that salmon would nowhere been good enough for me Thomas gonna chuck all this on now I'm not too bad about the pan being warm there's plenty of oil in there because there's that fish oil as well from fish so we'll get this chicken cup then uh we'll add the rest of the ingredients and then we'll enjoy it a chicken stir-fry foreign chicken stir-fry footy now I wonder what's going on because it's just been a massive set of helicopters go overhead I know what the ones are you know where they've got like two propellers at each side you could sort of just make that out because it's just starting to get proper dark now anyway but yeah I don't know what's going on there some sort of army training in the summit oh wow you know when you're doing this sort of camping it's private Woodland Woodland camping and stuff there's not too much that you can really get up to you know you set your tent up you do this you do that it's mainly about cooking and eating Outdoors it's the cooking outdoors I really like it really enjoy to do so I've got the fire going again because it's so small it intends to build up a lot of Embers once it's finished burning your light start pushing them in like this feeding it a lot so once or twice we've had to scrape all the Embers out and put more in no more wood it's not a bad little stove for cooking boiling yourself some drinking water but to have a little fire in it it's no good really let's be honest about it it's mainly for doing a little bit of cooking it's great to try these things at least we know right so we're in the tents now the rain started and I've got a small problem with them three little holes I'm not sure they're gonna let a lot of the rain in but to be fair I don't want no rain coming in so I'm gonna have to think of the idea what I want about earlier I can find which bag it is I have these and these are from the air mat I have two of them and I won't have to stick them over the hills well I can rip it so maybe I just have to use one it's not ideal but it's better than it leaking in we're getting there that's patch number one done just need to get the next one with a bit of a nightmare to peel I don't know if it's going to be a long-term fix but at least for tonight it'll be all right I think there we go give the tent a good rub there we go I'm just gonna have a quick look over see if there's any more that I do need to cover up before I decided to get into my sleeping bag you see that's the problem we're buying second on tents you just don't really know what condition they're until you get hold of them I'm not going to say I'm disappointed it's only three little holes what's Templar sorted at the moment anyway temporarily temporarily sorted [Music] yeah I couldn't see no more he's I think and we have to start his turn out properly if I want to use it a lot more on the channel right I'm going to get myself sorted out I'll bring you back in a bit just uh be walking by some it seemed to be walking around my tent a bit and it's watered down up as well because Dan's just messaged me you know the guy lines that you pull out there's something I felt no not that I don't know it's just it woke me up so quick reading as well so it seems like something's bumped into tint and it will like sort of like walk around a little bit now if I'm by myself I'd be a little bit more know what we're going on last night Outsiders tents but I'm just going to try to forget about it to be truthful I'm alive you're not bad take it I don't know could have just been somebody walking around trying not to uh disturb us something like that I don't know if something like that this tent needs a lot of work to it the Zip's broke now on the door uh it's just you don't feel like it's waterproof so I'm gonna have to sort the zip out and then really look after it give it a Fab seal reseal all the seams on the inside if I'm going to use it more I'm gonna have to take care of it so it is raining this morning not heavy it is raining though it did last night for a couple of hours not that I call a tank camping in the rain sort of video [Music] vegan damn water be awake for a couple of hours now so I think I'm just going to enjoy my coffee listen to the rain on the tent listen to The Birds and I get back to you soon so I'm not gonna waste much more time now recording because I do need to start packing some stuff up the vegetable layer of my tent is wet because the door just walked close because Zip's broke so that area is wet through this part of the tents were here so I am
