UNBOXING! My Viewers Gave Me A Mystery Box

hello everyone it is unboxing day and i am unboxing this large box that my viewers debbie and casey bestowed upon me they are moving and decided to so nicely give me some of the items that they thought that i would really enjoy and a vintage ceramic christmas tree which i'm finding the perfect place for so i have no idea what's in here but from the top it looks like it's going to be some good stuff so join me for this unboxing day and see what treasures await [Music] last year i met viewers debbie and her husband casey at the other flea market that i sell at and they were so nice so genuine you know pretty much like your next-door neighbors that you go and hang out with and have a drink with so really down-to-earth people and they are moving down south so a few weeks ago they drove all the way up to the other flea market that i saw at on a really cold windy day to gift me with this box of vintage goodness plus a large ceramic vintage christmas tree so thank you debbie and casey i hope that your move and you're getting ready to move is successful and i cannot thank you enough for giving me this box of vintage treasures which i'm going to open now it was so nice meeting you both and i wish you nothing but success as you move forward to this next stage i think it'll be fun i think we'll have fun and i'll be moving to somewhere warm where you won't drive an hour to flea market and freeze so thank you so we are going to look at this together i've only taken out the moose crossing sign and i have to find a home for the ceramic christmas tree have it over there for now but we're going to give it a new home i still have to decorate for christmas it is a process anyway let's dive in so first of all look at this cutie it says kitty kitty wampus a small game for kids i love her that would look good on a shirt kitty wampus i've heard that but i never oh my goodness look how adorable this is but i never knew it was a game so this is a reproduction game but it still has that great vintage look to it how do you play i'll have to see that's fun a swell game for kids golly g parasphere oh we have a woman's day christmas edition magazine with a honey pumpkin pie recipe on the back the christmas the holiday editions are great in the vintage magazines for the art not only the articles but also for many of the recipes too homemade toys for christmas make some dollhouse furniture homemade building blocks fill a cigar box that has a gay picture post pasted on top flat cars from painted and decorated cigar boxes make a colorful train to pool so hey oh geez the next time you see an old bunch of cigar boxes you can think of all the items you can make with it like a guitar the cars a box for building blocks and even a house who would have thought it i don't know where to start i know debbie did say down at the bottom uh there were some really old older items so oh how cute it's a little bird uh left in a little bird like jewelry or trinket box i miss my birds i haven't heard well you know it's fall or neither they're they're somewhere warm but that's rather cute you know what i still hear every day though those darn leaf blowers because i don't know i cannot wait till the leaves are all down and i don't have to hear that anymore i'd much rather hear the sound of a snowblower i think i might want to take my words back later i need to make sure this is recording yes it is oh my goodness oh wow it's the old um big little books mickey mouse sales for treasure island little orphan annie oh there's a whole bunch for little orphan annie [Music] she's fun it's a hard not like not it's a hard knock life for oh someone color to them these are so fun these are great to decorate with too pretty much you can decorate with anything there's a whole bunch of them little orphan annie and sandy good old sandy mr warbucks dick tracy you know when something's old when you have all those little bits of the brown paper like tracy out west oh is he in wyoming dick tracy jr steve what's that one and we have little women my favorite version of little women was the one with winona ryder and christian bale as laurie i am a huge fan of christian bale he has done some amazing historic movies including his first movie empire of the sun by steven spielberg that was about the atomic bomb big fan of christian battle so christian bell you're watching hello that's doubtful but hey you never know oh my goodness autograph book the happy thought autograph album look how pretty i wrote my name upon the sand and trusted it with stay for a but soon alas the refluent c had washed my feeble lines away don't you want to be a christian whilst you are young your true friend george levis hmm 1889. interesting that's only one in there oh this one's so cute because it has all these little extra pages with poems i carved my name upon the wood and after years returned again i missed the shadow of the tree that stretched of old upon the plane do people still carve their name in trees i've never done that but i know that was a big thing here we have some more books maria cheeseman or the candy girl oh that sounds fun philadelphia american sunday school union from a dagger type taken the day she sailed for england oh this sounds like a fun book oh boy you'll be able see i'm not technic technologically advanced i don't have like a screen that's mirroring well it's on my phone but that's the one thing about this youtube i probably should be more tech advanced than i am and do some really fancy editing and everything but i just it doesn't happen dog and his dinner cinderella so this is like it's a fairy tale album book oh this is nice the shepherd boy the story of david look how nice that cover is you know there are people that are interior decorators and they will curate a room you know the settings on a table just based on a book color the cover of a book it's amazing here we have another one i remember thomas hood oh christmas token i have seen this before but in the smaller version 1909 to our dear mother from daughter and son i'm guessing it was a christmas present that's nice we have a whole bunch of them in here lengths of memory and a song of life with a locket on the front by long fellow good old sailor guy in there there's still more people knox berry farm i've never been there i think they're still closed i don't think they've opened up yet same as disneyland a whole bunch knoxbury farm airport service oh oh disneyland hotel oh i missed disneyland i was there once i would love to get there again 10 discount at hojos for walt disney's magic kingdom club i wonder if this is still valid welcome to the magic kingdom club oh i miss disney so much can you imagine is there is there an expiration date on this because if not oh it expires get this december 31st 1976 i think i am i missed that by just a few years universal studios oh wow these are fun wax museum i've been to the wax museum in london this is in california movie land wax museum space movie world what in the world that has all oh and adler i know that's a good car movie world homes of the car of car of the stars oh disneyland tickets oh my goodness davey crockett's explore canoes mission to mars mark twain steamboat walt disney story featuring great moments with mr lincoln that was the last ride that i went when went on when i was there i didn't have much time there i was in the area for my job and of course you know i need to go to disneyland if i'm this close i can't fly all the way out to california and not go so i had only a few hours air force academy there's so much little bits and bobs of papers in here ooh disneyland guide that's fun magic mountain i'm gonna have to go through all this what's this celebration summer marineland disneyland guided tours that's going to be a fun brochure to look through the wonderland the end of tomorrow the wonderland of topiary trees is that still there hmm interesting there are so many i'm not just pounding stuff on we have young miss fun fashion and good looks formerly calling all girls okay so their headliners were how to talk to boys hello you can be miss teenage america and many faces of dionne warwick do you need extra money it costs you nothing to try oh boy i'm sure these articles are probably really great like how to talk to boys french rice cake supreme there's even recipes in here you just teach young girls everything oh boy we have some books the saggy baggy elephant pinocchio oh charlie brown christmas you can't beat that i think that they are going to um run this on tv this year there was there was a lot of skepticism and up in the air airedness that they weren't going to but this is such a classic how can you not we have some spider-man superman sorry book and record the city under siege look at him oh man he's looking good there he's ready to save the day oh my gosh i can't even birthday book dearest mildred we just don't know we i just don't know what i would have done without you oh whole bunch of birthday books now we just click on facebook to see when someone's birthday is wild flowers of america that's very pretty postcards easter postcards you can see happiness and easter greeting we have a nice st patrick's day card merry christmas and a happy new year let's all hope that it is a much better year recompense not changed but glorified oh interesting i have to look at that more closely i mean there's a box inside this box i'm running running out of room here friendships token more of these lovely little poem books i could see those at you know b and b or a little shop a tea shop christmas 1909 new year 1910 from annie louise north baptist church calendar more easter books this one's nice the beatitudes there i don't even know where to go electionary facts for every voter i wonder if this applied to this year william penn founder of p.a caught oh boy what is this about i don't know that they just took notes belong to wilbur wow wilbur with the name like that i can't even read this i should have wrote a little bit tidier wilbur because you know how many years later someone was going to read your 1913 diary on a youtube video we have some air mail oh this looks like it's legal stuff from livingston home savings bank let's look at that then there's more little poetry books i mean this is the box that keeps on giving another bridal souvenir book oh my gosh there's two layers of this box oh wow i'm gonna have to look there's all sorts of little bits and bobs of paper look at these little victorian die cuts and cupid on a lion those are fun the star riddle book oh it sounds i don't even know if i can read some of these because i just looked at this one and i don't think it's appropriate i can't oh my gosh some of these are really bad oh no can't do it not appropriate there's so much stuff in here like i'm i can't unbelievable we have more ration books oh my there's more cards postcards letters i'm gonna have to go through all of these i need like a good snowstorm i shouldn't say that i just say they keep me trapped inside for like a week christmas joy that's nice we don't get stuff like this anymore roger williams park providence rhode island historic views of boston and the vicinity i'd like to go up to boston again i was there for a weekend years ago i think when i was a teenager burrows oh how cute oh look it's a it's a whole book about them i thought it was going to be um a child's book coloring ain't we sweet oh who wouldn't want a little donkey i can go garbage picking on a dog can you imagine if i went around with a donkey with a cart and garbage picked with one of them then people would leave out tons of stuff just to have my little donkey come by these are the things i think of folks we have some cookbooks recipe magic the secret of good taste the ground meat cookbook this will probably be a lot better than what i've made in that instant pot i bought an instant pot it's not instant not at all you wait like an hour for the thing to heat up it's awful so i think i'll probably stick with my crock pot oh look at this guy dw is with you on this ship the same y that has with the boys on troop trains transports and camps at the front and that makes a why home in port cities and towns how nice out of the fog i've never seen one of these when johnny comes marching home i like their little explanation little things like that we have a rent and tin strong heart the story of a wonder dog is this the one that was i want to received this if you had a a friend a family member that made it all the way over to london you know during those early years and they sent you back that thing it was probably so much fun to receive it the gale of paradise valentine a cheerful easter look how nice that is and it has a little stand on the back that pops out mildred two mildred from grandpa 1919 and then this person well first this was a gift in 1901 and then they gifted it again in 1919. seekers after the light from ben hur there's all sorts of little things in here unbelievable thank you so much casey and deb holland kitties oh look how cute they are oh my goodness hanzi four cakes and he came back for more that sounds like my kind of person oh my goodness there's so i mean there's still even more memories collected by everett brown we have more of those lovely little poem books ring out wild bells strange stories from sing sing oh boy that's some night time reading favorite cake recipes that looks that looks and that looks pretty good i have suffered it's a religious postcard grief makes us keener grief makes us enjoy the keener hearts are drawn together and lives exalted more by suffering than by ease morning and night watches this is like christmas just a few more things the sing and play book the boston music company oh this is nice norma bassett hall sleeping pueblo stereograph i like the colors they're very muted i do like muted colors everyone says i look great in that red i don't own that much we red another boston book that's a lovely cover there's two of them maybe it's a sign i think the the thing i remember most about going to boston and this is going to be really bad is that we went to the cheers the cheers bar that was it i can't remember much else how sad is that we have a better homes and gardens baby book a child care and training guide with all it's the baby but there was pictures in here oh i think that may have been oh no it's full oh my gosh the baby's hair is in here caldwell bootery prescription shoe fitters that happened a lot so this tells you all about how to care for your baby you may feel depressed in the delivery room father's waiting period it says your doctor or nurse may advise him to go back to the office or home and keep in touch with the hospital some hospitals permit the husband to remain with his wife during labor this helps him feel he is participating in this important event oh thank goodness however it isn't necessary for your husband to be there you will be sleeping some of the time and many doctors feel that you will relax more and rest better if your husband is not present if your hospital doesn't allow your husband to be with you during the labor period don't be upset about it his remaining at the hospital makes you and him feel better he may stay in the waiting room provided for expectant fathers try and have that fly now good luck oh my gosh oh my gosh how to offer new food some begin with fruit keep his food list growing oh but there's all sorts of stuff back here we might have to take another look at this one i always like to see what the first word was oh two bottom teeth came in before the baby teeth are ready to come out ouch chickenpox 1967. they didn't know that their baby book was going to be read on youtube either we have two more items 17 1882 boston 1882. preliminary arrangements well birthday party truly yours wp tilden look at that beard look at him man we can see him oldest man of his village francis francis tilden is that him it has to be that says wp maybe that's um i'm gonna take no look at this too you're giving me a lot of projects here and last but not least let's see we have another book religious book looks like it's about elijah oh westminster primary stories the baby jesus and a manger memory verse the lord is my keeper willing gifts for god's house a song of thanksgiving how nice wow some amazing things in there and some things that i'm going to have to really take another look at and and see like the baby book this book to find out about francis and all of the cards and letters that you said that you gave me thank you so much casey and debbie i can't i can't thank you enough you know like i said it was so nice meeting you both you really seem like you're just down earth genuine kind caring people and i think that that was obviously displayed in the wonderful items that you passed along to me so yeah there might be a lot of history behind the paper in this box i'm behind on that again i was working on this one little picture that i found but i just wasn't getting the the research that i needed i wasn't finding when i needed so i had to scrap that i don't want to put something that's you know half done out i want to enjoy when i'm researching it and i want that joy to come through when i present it in a video so that's why i've been kind of late and getting another history behind the paper out but one will be coming don't worry
