Abandoned Farm House From the 1800s

deep in the heart of rural Georgia since this Grand two-story farmhouse constructed in the mid to late 19th century the house has undergone several Renovations throughout its lifetime from the outside the house appears to be quite eerie and creepy as it sits all by its Lonesome in the middle of the Woods furthermore the home's exterior looked as if it would be an awful shape with rotted wooden siding and the shutters barely hanging most people would do whatever it took to avoid stepping foot in such a dilapidated place however once inside the home it was a complete contrast as it was completely baffling to see the interior in such pristine shape several calendars still hanging on the walls in the house suggest that it had last been occupied in the early 1980s in addition to these calendars there was also many things solidifying that it last lived in approximately 40 years ago some of those things included antique furniture such as four post and iron frame beds retro light fixtures aged Pepsi and Coca-Cola cases a vintage stove old Lance cookie jars and a set of barrel table with chairs every room in this house was completely loaded with the family's personal items and belongings the front of the home still featured the original Second Story screened-in porch that wrapped around the corner of the home on the porch we found an old swinging chair still hanging along with several matching rocking chairs and other outdoor seating this abandoned house was an absolute gem but finding any relevant history proved to be extremely difficult with the house sitting for nearly 40 years it will be interesting to see if anything ever happens with it the owner's family still lives on a property nearby and keeps a very close eye on their old family home they just got up here upstairs there's dogs barking The Neighbors on it you can hear them listen gotta be quick unfortunately I gotta be quiet too yeah foreign [Applause] place is loaded though full of antiques thank you and through here this is the porch back here Magazine from 1956. no sale Oz Franca 1962. [Applause] fireplace is beautiful really is it would work old Arctic air fan love that again tools shoot hmm I could use one of those even better old cough syrup then you got another one of those light fixtures here floral arrangement going on there still attached even the bathtub is cool our bathroom bathtub too claw foot nice fireplace here nice woodwork [Music] hat hanging up it's a nice piece of furniture there too lots of uh bullfighting stuff going on in here there too oh these uh Matadors matador theme in a lot of these rooms just look at the old wood paneling in here too look at this cobwebs amazing incredible look at this room is cool too some mold in the on the walls in this room no surprise right how long this place has been sitting 40 something years and you can see that they've tried to like patch holes where maybe mice and birds and stuff have tried to come in you can see it all over this place like over here you can see it all cop-ups and stuff I mean like everything is in here I think this drawers even if we'll see look at that quilts and that one's empty yeah it's nuts Reader's Digest 1980. old rocking chair matches the uh twin beds here Vines are going through look at the vines coming into you by the stressor here look at that the vines coming in over the drapes look at that lizard up there not sure what the hell that thing is doing up there but either it's fake or dead Grandma's rocking chair so old foreign cookie jar look at that stuff wow look at all this knickknacks it's Butter's worth even the old old dogs be quiet or copano Pepsi over here not Birds Nest up there amazing house everywhere you look pots and pans on the stove old Magic Chef microwave telephone the table's cool table and barrel chairs look at gotta love the barrel chairs all matched too with the table see it's probably when the last time somebody actually lived in here 82 calendar 1982 I can't show the bottom because it's got the city 1982 it says down there in the bottom right here's the front doors our main entrance look at the wood paneling incredible all the cobwebs too get the wood paneling going up the stairs I got the banister and this leads up to the porch area bedrooms so this would be the main entry for your area there's the main staircase going up old couch here look at that wood paneling Jesus this place is so old 1800s without a question not sure of the year yet I'm gonna look it up you can see everything is just super old and outdated the calendar says 1981. and then another one says 1982. so some around there nobody's lived here in 40 years look at these rooms soap jam-packed with antiques look at that Parlor Room over there just want to show you how much stuff is in here here's a fireplace look at that amazing show you that front room I think here's the front room stuff too much stuff from over here there's tons of antiques look at this old bed here old Chase Lounge upside down look at that thing and that thing look at the old tray just amazing stuff that's just sitting here like this this is a gold mine look at this old TV here true tone leave this room too this must have been a dining room a bench here and then lamb look at this built-in mahogany or something look at that cobwebs over there it's wild the rug is still down dining room table foreign Fork and Spoon wild that it's all in here let's check out the balcony be quiet out here this is sweet and that takes us to the end of the abandoned family Farmhouse video from abandoned Central we hope everyone enjoyed the video and for more photos of the house and our other locations check out our website at abandoncentral.com please subscribe to abandoned Central on YouTube so that you don't miss any of our latest videos
