Ultimate Skier Task Guide Patch .12.9 - Escape from Tarkov

hi guys this is pestilian welcome to another escape from tarkov video in this video i'm covering all of skiers tasks for patch point 12.9 uh and this should hopefully cover for the entirety of the wipe uh and we'll just put some pin notes if any extra cards are added during this one and then we try and keep these up to date so give as much information quickly as possible with as much detail so you guys can get through these tasks with as little issues as possible so guys without further ado let's crack straight into it for the first quest being supplier you need to get a founding raid 3m body armor and also a shotgun the fastest and easiest way to get this quest done is to go into factory use your scav run it will make it a lot easier and faster to get this one done go into factory and with your scav and then there's three thick spawn locations for 3m armors in factory so the first one is in the office area with the safe on top of the falling cabinets the second one is located on the scaffolding up on the top bit uh if you were going through the sky bridge and extracted or so went out what we call a stripper which is the staircase going down in the middle uh instead of going down turn the left and go to the outside and you'll see a 3m armor up there and the third and final one is located at the bottom of stripper you want to turn right when you get to the staircase do a full u-turn and there's a blue shipping container just on the outside of that little wooden area and the 3m armor spawns there as you're running around the scav as well look at all the other scars see if any of them are wearing 3m armors and look for a scav with a toddler shotgun shoot him grab the toes and then get out of the raid and you can hand this one in very straightforward the extortionist for this quest you need the unknown uh key and the easiest and fastest way to get this is going to customs if you spawn on the custom side and you head over the water towards construction and then on the right hand side towards crack house there is a unknown body inside the bushes uh and this has a 100 born chance to get the key if the key is not on him it means someone else has already been there so get that key then from there you need to head over to the other side of the map kind of across the wall from a new gas station there is a cabin inside that cabin will be located on the ground underneath the rags half underneath it grab the item survive and extract the raid hand into the skier and you will have completed this quest syrup i'll stir uh this one requires you to kill three pmcs with pistols now you can use the m9a3 uh with any of the 9x19 caliber rounds at the moment i find that gun quite difficult to use but it is a perfectly cable gun to use if you don't have to do this quest straight away you can actually save this quest for a long time um so personally i would say hold out and do this quest for a little bit until you have slightly better armor or ammo and um then you can use a better gun or with better ammunition if you but best case scenario five seven pistol with 190 ammo would pretty much one shot to anyone in the head uh up until the very high top tier uh helmets so save this quest for a little bit otherwise if you really want to push it use whatever pistol you find best easiest to aim and then uh start shooting heads you can either do it on via money runs or just go into factory and try and take on everyone while you're there what's on the flash drive now this requires you to hand in two founding raid usb flash drives now these are very common now in safe and that would be my recommendation to get this so if you're looking at safe go into customs you want to go into the 204 or 214 room on three story dorms or the 105 110 114 in three story dorms they're the easiest safes to get to and you can also search jackets while you're there and a flash drive can spawn on the bed in customs there's also another flash drive spawn located um by the camp uh towards the back of two story dorms there's a little camp and underneath the guitar and also next the duffel bag has world spawns for the flash drive if you head over towards the boiler side of the map there is a van with two computers in the back flash your eyes can spawn sticking out at the front of that and then any computer in the game can also spawn with flash drives inside of it the other world fix board that's pretty common is you go to woods and uh i think it's i can't remember what the rock is called but it's the one it's by the lumber mill down by the water there is a tent next to that and in front of the tent can spawn up to two flash drives there so you've got a fair few options but safes are the fastest way right now to get your flash drives and you can also be checking out for other money stuff and also computers or quest items for other quests too so uh that's your best bet there next we have golden swag for this you need to go into the three story dorms room 303 and pick up the golden zebo once you have that you would have received a key from the actual accepting of the quest to go into a cabin in the trailer park area of the custom side of the map and once you get over to the custom side you will unlock the cabin takes about 20 seconds to place down the golden zebo and then once you've done that you don't even need to survive the raid you have completed this quest so it's a good one to just have under your belt uh to get out of the way um it's it's one of the more brutal quests for skier early on in the game because you have to go two three story dorms and then all the way back to customs where it's quite uh brutal the fastest and easiest way to do this one is on night time and if you're struggling to find a 303 key jackets and firing cabinets have a pretty good chance to spawn it now onto chemical part one when you unlock chemical part one you also will unlock friend from the west part one and we'll get to that one in a minute but for chemical part one it requires you to have a 220 key there is two ways of getting this or two major ways of getting this you can get it in filing cabinets and there is a world spawn for getting this uh in the train cart where you actually have to pick up the item for the actual quest itself so uh the boiler side of the map there's a train line up on the top of the hills section near factory seven uh inside that train cart there is a jacket on the ground underneath that jacket the 220 key spawns and then right in the corner on the edge of the train cart you'll get the item for that you need to hand in for the quest now that that 220 key is kind of a rest born to find there um so yeah jackers and also fine cabinets is your next best bet otherwise pick one up on the flea market by this stage you should have the flea market unlocked and it'd be pretty cheap on there chemical part two uh this one requires you to uh receive back the 220 key that you just handed in then you need to head into the room 220 of three story dorms once you're inside there uh inside the file there's like filing books on the on the shelf uh there'll be a file that you need to pick up there and also a usb drive that's sticking in the laptop on the desk once you loot these two items survive and extract the raid and you can hand this one in chemical part three requires you to go into factory um once you're inside factory you need to go out to the office area on the third floor you need to breach the doorway and once you've reached in the the doorway there's a following cabinet on the right and there'll be a chemical vial that's sticking in the following cabinet survive and extract the raid and you can hand this quest in chemical part four this one requires you to go into customs and take in a marker once you have the marker and you're inside customs you want to head to the boiler side of the map uh it's not in that major compound on the full border side it's the one slightly back from it towards new gas there's a big warehouse and there's a fan a van inside of it go to the back of the van and place this market down then you'll have the option of who you want to hand it into personally i think skier has the best option because it unlocks the zsh helmet that's slightly cheaper than the other hand variety of it um and so that's a permanent unlock and it's the only way to be able to buy that from from ragman so um hand this quest back into skier instead of any of the other people print for the west part one now this unlocks when you unlock uh chemical part one as well so uh you are required to kill seven you sex and then you need to hand in seven usex packs now these tanks do not need to be found in raid so if you um kill someone chuck the tag in your container and you can hand it in once you've handed in all seven tags then you'll unlock friend from the west part two and this is the quest chain who unlocked peacekeeper friend from the west part two this one you need to hand in six thousand dollars to scare to complete the quest now there are a few ways of handling this but i would say personally uh if you've been looting safe you'll get like flash drives and ssds and and stuff like that you can sell that to peacekeeper and that will start accumulating dollars spent on peacekeeper and making you money and then also if you're still struggling to get that six thousand dollars then um just buy the money straight from peacekeeper and hand this quest in i know that's a fair bit of money but once you start unlocking the peacekeeper quest and start completing them you're going to make a lot of us dollars so you'll make that money back fairly quickly as you progress through the peacekeeper storyline now after you handed in that six thousand dollars you'll have peacekeeper unlocked and you've completed this quest vitamins part one now this one requires you to get three chemical containers located both on shoreline and interchange the first one is located on shoreline in the west 112 room if you don't want to buy this key and you wait probably 20 minutes on a shoreline raid there's a good chance that this room will already be open because there's a blue keycard spawn in there and people might have already checked that and you can go in and there and get the actual item for the quest when you do go in the the west 112 room it's the fridge on the left-hand side uh it'll just be sticking inside the fridge loot it survive an extract thread and hand that one in then you need to head over to interchange and you need to go both to mantis and emicom now the emmacom uh has a locked door to get in there or there's multiple locked doors to get in there but you can also take the other like strategy of waiting and see someone else opens it up by waiting 20 or 30 minutes to go in there otherwise buy this key because there is a lot of med spawns in there and a latex spawn that's quite rare um you will have this key as a bit of a handy key to have um but yeah located in mantis and emicom i would have had it on a mini map in a video if you do see where they are located and you'll be able to get this item hand them in and then move on to the next quest vitamins part two for this one you need to hand in four found in raid respirators and then three medical blood sets now you can craft the medical blood sets in the hideout uh and the respirators you can uh just find them on scabs fairly easily if you're struggling do a scave run onto the interchange or factory run around until you find a scav with a respirator kill them take the respirator and extract uh and for the blood sets any of the medical supply creates a good forum or medical medical bags is pretty much your best bet for this and lastly you can also con craft things in the hideout informed means armed for this one you need to get three wi-fi cameras and then you need to go into customs woods and interchange and then place down these wi-fi cameras starting at interchange you need to go across from the kiba store uh and it's called brutal and there's a just a crate that looks towards the cable store you need to have the wi-fi camera on you and it takes about 20 seconds to plant plant the the wi-fi camera and then you can move on to the next map for customs you need to go to where what we call ice cream hut uh and from there you want to head towards the outer wall um kind of in the direction of doors but if you're looking at dawns from ice cream heart you turn to the left take that road down towards the wall that's got nothing there besides some barbed wire and some bollards and there's a little shack and next to the shack it's a big bush and inside that bush you can place down the wi-fi camera and then finally on woods the last one is located down by the water next to lumber mill there's some big wood stacks and you just run up to those wood stacks and you place the wi-fi camera down there after you've done this uh you can just head in you don't need to survive and extract the raid in particular order to get this one done charming for this quest you need to go into interchange woods and customs again and then place three gold's chains down in each of these locations now for customs you want to go into the three-story dorms towards the marked room there is a little kitchen area and by the microwave place the three gold chains down into the microwave for woods you want to go down to the cabins in lumber mill it's the one with the safe in it go right up next to the safe and you'll place the three gold chains down by the bed and then for interchange you want to go into generic it's the one next to the keyboard store and there's a bed in the back corner you go next to the bed and place down the three gold chains you also need to kill five pmcs on interchange between 10 o'clock at night and 10 a.m but whilst you're also placing down those three gold chains go into the night time raids and start killing pmcs it's up to you your best tactics for killing pmcs on this map a lot of people will be pushing towards killer um by the time you're up to this quest because other people will be you know farming their their killer costume and all that so um you should have no problem running into players in the middle of this map silent caliber for this quest you are required to kill 20 scabs with a 12k shotgun that's suppressed and also 10 pmcs with the 12 gauge shotgun that's suppressed i like to stack this quest up with setup which requires you to go into customs with wearing a scav vest and a ushanka hat and then also we're using a shotgun a 12 gauge shotgun are killing pmcs you also need to kill 15 pmcs for that quest so i'm double tapping both of these quests here but um i generally try and do both of these at the same time because then that way you're all you're really doing is adding a suppressor to the shotgun for setup and then you're still getting pmc kills that way then anyway so my suggestion with this is use an mp153 with ap20 ammunition go into customs and then just go to the frequent areas where players are going to be running past and through so you've got the customs area when they're spawning they go over towards the crack house so you can go wait over there the big skeletor building in the middle dorms is a great place it's up to you where you fight best that's where i would recommend you go and then probably play a little bit more patient and let people come to you the cool thing about this is now you can wear contacts with the ushanka hat but then that way you can actually hear people better on this quest [ __ ] now this task is quite brutal to do as a solo player i would highly recommend using a friend if you can to do this quest because it requires you to go into customs and place down some items whilst not killing any scabs if you place down your items and then kill a scav you will fail this quest so first thing you need to get an sv98 rifle and a roller watch with the roller watch in your container so that way it's safe and then what you need to do is you need to go to the bridge between customs and construction and there's a car that you open up the boot and there's a flash drive that you need to loot inside there once you loot that flash drive you head towards the doors and in the third floor of the dorms at the top of the staircase there's some garbage bags and you want to place down all these items right there once you started placing down the items uh you've got to be patient and hope there's no scavs um it takes a little bit to place these i think they've reduced it down to about 20 seconds once you've placed down all three items you're allowed to kill pmcs but you're not allowed to kill player scavs um survive and extract the raid and then you can hand this quest in much easier to do this quest with some friends flint for this you're required to get level six uh stress resistance now this quest is not required for the capper container it'll explain how you get your stress resistance leveled up um stress resistance is leveled by taking damage whilst not on painkillers so if you're pre-med in going into a fight um you're not gonna get any leveling on your stress resistance i would highly suggest avoiding pre-medicine going into raise whilst you're on this quest there is a mechanic quest called psycho sniper which gives one level to stress resistance so if you do complete that quest beforehand it will give you one more level towards your stress resistance skill and that might help get you over the line to be able to hand this quest in len lease part one now this one requires you to go into shoreline and woods and pick up a heap of items i'm going to start with the woods one so in woods in the middle of the lumber mill you need to go uh right in front of that big warehouse there is a utility vehicle or a truck some americans might call it in the back of the truck there's a uh there's a a wooden crate and inside that is the first item you need to loot then from there you want to head slowly up away from the lake take the road to the left and go down to what i call the med car or the med checkpoint and in the passenger side sorry the drive side of that car you open up the door and um there'll be a another item required to loot inside there after you get those two items extract the raid hand them in and then you need to head over to shoreline now once you're on shoreline you need to head over to the west wing 216 room and then once you're inside that room inside the lock up right on the left as you enter the room you'll be able to loot the item for the quest and then you need to head over to east wing 306 the 308 key will also get you in this room uh loot the item that's on the balcony inside the box and then the final item is located uh towards the road to customs extract there is a big uh tower going up with on the corroded custom side of that tower um there's a road heading towards the the water side of things or the ccp checkpoint you want to walk towards the end of that road and when you get to the end of it take a 45 degree turn to the right and you'll see a wooden box um and it's located inside that wooden box it's a little bit annoying to find but once you find it you'll have like that oh yeah moment and then from that point onwards if you ever have to do this quest again you won't have any issues finding it hopefully the the video footage and the map will help you get through that item with no dramas rigged game now this one requires you to place down three markers on the medical containers in shoreline it's very similar to some of the other quests you would have already been doing along this path when senator was added to the game so you want to head towards these stretches and there's also like these little boxes next to it uh and you just need to place these markers down one's located just outside the locked cabins the next one's located outside on the uh down by the pier outside the office building and the final one is located in between the two resort wings where the bridge is and there's the um there's the ambulance they'll the last one will be located there once you've marked all three of these survive and extract the raid and you can hand in the quest kind of sabotage and this one is linked to the therapist quest where you need to go into uh woods go to the cabins and then underneath the bed loot the item and survive and extract the raid personally i rather hand it in to kind of sabotage instead of therapists because it gives 180 000 rubles instead of like 70 000 and it's only about 2000 xp less personal preference but that is uh who i would hand this quest into so
