hey what's up guys i'm jflash727 and today i'll be teaching you all the bizarre method of shiny hunting curry pokemon before we get started i just would like to give a disclaimer about curry hunting curry hunting is incredibly rng based and takes its time so if you have some spare time to kill and want a unique shiny that hardly any people have then go right ahead and do this method there will be timestamps in the description of every part of the video for your viewing pleasures now then let's get right into this in-depth tutorial [Music] curry hunting is its own unique method and we still have a lot to learn about it the main aspects of shiny hunting at curry pokemon is that it will have a unique mark that is only obtainable by pokemon coming to your camp there is a setup to have pokemon visit your camp which i will elaborate on further in this video in the u n your pokemon section the mark you will get on your pokemon is the curry connoisseur mark which when sending out your pokemon will read the curry connoisseur [Music] pokemon coming to your camp always have a 100 chance of having the curry connoisseur mark as of now we still do not know the odds of a shiny pokemon to appear in your camp and whether it is affected by the shiny charm or not as of now please assume it is full odds a one in four thousand ninety six chance as we do not have proof the shiny charm works or not now then since we're done with the basic information let's start getting into how to hunt if you're crazy enough to attempt this hunt there's quite the setup you'll have to do in order to get this to work and you'll have to go about setting up differently if you decide to stop reset or not once you set everything up you'll never have to do it again in these first few parts i will be talking about the setup you must do for both methods then it will branch out into sections for each method there are a few main components to setup in order to get your current counter you will want to know your pokeballs have your pokemon to be sociable with each other and friendly with you a selection of berries a main ingredient in your curry class to be preferably high the three subjects that are uniform with both soft resetting and not soft resetting are your pokeballs your pokemon and your curry class we will start with your pokeball selection [Music] now you may notice that the pokemon comes into a pokeball after you accept it into your party and they can only go into three different kinds a pokeball a great ball and an ultra ball the one they go into is determined by how many you have in your bag so if you wanted it to go into a great ball you need to have only great balls in your bag out of those three choices for example if you have none of those three pokeballs it means you will not get any spawns in your camp so please make sure you have a hearty supply of pokeballs of your choice this also means sadly no special pokeballs like dreamballs or fastballs obviously the pokemon will always join you unless you kick it off into the wild so be careful if you plan to keep them all next we will go over the basics of you and your pokemon [Music] first things first you will need to create your curry hunting team i recommend a team of small pokemon such as meltan eevee aplin or any pokemon that are of a similar size this ensures that you will not miss any potential curry encounters ideally you want your team to be of six pokemon it seems that the rate of spawns is much higher when using a full party of six it is possible to get spawns with any amount of pokemon in your party as shown on screen now but it is not ideal to have a small team if you are hoping to get a curry shiny of your own having six pokemon maintains a high sociability status amongst them this means that all of your pokemon are best friends with one another it is essential that you have a team of pokemon who are best friends with each other and you or you will not get any curry spawns now you may be asking how do i make a sociable camp one way of doing this is cooking curry with your ideal team in your party the ideal courage to make while trying to raise sociability are charizard class ones they can be made easier if you have people camp with you online or use the npcs to help you making charizard craze also raises your friendship between you and your pokemon as well there is a boy in hammerlock who can give your pokemon the best friend's ribbon when they are best friends with you this is how you will know your friendship status is high enough i will show you how you can get there in this short clip [Music] since you know your friendship value you will now want to know your sociability value a good way to check this is by using a feature where you can talk to two pokemon at once in pokemon camp this way they can tell you that they are best friends with each other the text will pop up and will say pokemon a and pokemon b seem to be best friends this is my curry cooking team as an example of what type of pokemon should be used feel free to base your pokemon off of mine and create a team of your own we will now move on to the next section curry classes [Music] through research we have found some semi's consistent stats among charizard and copperaja class curries charizard class curries have on average a one in four chance for pokemon to come to your camp as the data we have collected has shown an average rate of one pokemon appearing every four curries as shown here on screen copper raja class curry seemed to show a one in five chance for pokemon to appear since many who curry hunt and record the data cook using copperage class here are some sources i've gathered to prove the theory that the spawn rate for curry pokemon when cooking at a copper roger class is one in five i believe mill street can be approximately a one in seven chance as shown by the data and hunts that are currently on screen for wobba fett and coffin class curries we do know that you can get pokemon to pure but our sample size is so small to the point where we cannot provide accurate if any numbers it seems as though it is much harder to produce pokemon with the lowest classes through previous information it was stated that the mark charm makes your encounters a one in three chance we have since disproved this information as we now know that curry class affects spawn rate instead now here are a few clips of pokemon appearing for every class uh um [Music] hmm my recommendation is that you should cook copperaja or charizard class curries which will be easy to make if you use the berries and ingredients i recommend for whichever method you are doing which are located in their dedicated video parts please note that when you're making your curries regardless of class you must put effort into making them if you don't your pokemon will slowly become unsociable with each other and will prevent further spawning of pokemon this only matters when you are not soft resetting now we are all done with the basic information that is uniform to both software setting and not soft resetting if you want to soft reset jump to the section soft resetting or if you don't want to software set go to the section not soft resetting which are both linked in the description below we will first start with soft resetting [Music] since your software setting you want berries that have special abilities like being able to move first in a pinch or healing itself when hit by a super effective move these are considered rare berries your second best option are uncommon berries like ones that reduce damage taking from a super effective move ev reducing berries are common so do not confuse them with the uncommon berries i will have a link to berries and sworn shield in the description with the corresponding rarities my friend counter has found the best spot to farm rare berries in the cram tundra if you would like to support him check out his twitch over at berry farming this tree is located on the south side of the river between balamir lake and the giant's bed and here's how you can get to it from ready rocks temple this tree contains the following berries a colbert berry mickleberry coba berry sugarberry waconberry jaboca berry and a robot berry three of these berries the mickel jacoba and rossberry are all listed under the rare category the rest of the berries are all uncommon save your game then shake the tree until you at least get 10 rare berries it doesn't matter if they're all the same or all different as long as you get 10 rare berries you will be good to go the main thing you have to worry about is trying to get a pokemon from the tree to not fall on you if a pokemon falls on you and takes any of your rare berries then just soft reset your game now if you don't have the sword and shield expansion pass you will want a different tree located on the main galler island this tree is located on a small island in the lake of outrage please note that you will have to have the water bike to get to this tree which can be obtained after beating the rock german sword or the ice sherman shield which is the 6th gym badge obtained during a playthrough here's a clip on how to get to it [Music] this berry tree can produce the following berries an apricot berry pattaya berry a bomb berry yaki berry charity berry and my personal favorite berry to pronounce sugarberry all these berries are classified as uncommon berries fun fact this tree can also drop leftovers which is a really good held item that you can give to your pokemon and if the pokemon is holding leftovers after the end of every turn it will restore some hp but remember save your game then shake the tree until you get 10 berries and don't let any tree pokemon fall on you if you want to do multiple carries per self reset then type skip with the raid dens that are located right beside both trees and continue to farm berries also here's a quick tip on how to make cooking a lot easier favorite all your berries and then when you sort your bag sort by favorite first once you've gotten all your desired berries you move on to the next step which is your ingredients [Music] the way you'll go about collecting ingredients here will be almost entirely up to you i will recommend ingredients that can make the classes i recommend easier your best option is to use an ingredient called gigantomix the way you find gigant's mix is in any 3 4 or 5 star raid dens and has a low chance of being dropped i would definitely take the time to grind out a few raids to get giganomics as this is the best ingredient in the game and paired with rare and uncommon berries it gives a very good chance at resulting in a charizard class curry now if you don't want to get giganomics you'll have to use the two ingredients that are scattered across the gala region these ingredients are the large leek and the fancy apple large leeks can be found alongside the large rock in the giant's cap where soul rock or lunatone spawns fancy apples can be found all across the wild area and are located under trees both of these ingredients are free and can be respawned using raid den date skipping these are the ingredients i personally recommend you to use if you are soft resetting or you can use further ingredients i mentioned in this section not soft resetting ingredients this wraps it up for our soft reset method we will move on to our next section not soft resetting if you aren't soft resetting the setup for berries is much easier again i'll let my friend counter explain now getting your berries is very simple there are two berry stains you're going to want to know about one is located in wethurst and the other is located within the isle of armor right outside the dojo here are some short clips on where they are located and how to get to them [Music] huh [Music] [Music] huh preferably you're going to want to use the one on the aloe armor as it sells orange berries pizza berries cherry berries chester berries for 80 poke dollars each you're going to want to buy 999 of each of those berries that's around equivalent to around if you round up 80 000 pokey dollars if you don't have the isle of armor pass you can always use the one at western station which only sells orange berries pizza berries and cherry berries for 80 pokey dollars each but in reality you're only losing out on one extra berry but we thought we'd tell you guys this anyway you're going to consistently want to restock these berries so you're going to have to remember where all these stands are located also here's a quick tip on how to make cooking a lot easier favorite all your berries and then when you sort your bag sort by favorite first since we're done with our berries now we're going to move on to our ingredients [Music] many ingredients can be used to cook curry however if you want a good class curry go for rare ingredients they cost two thousand two hundred poke dollars each but they boost your curry class by a lot these dry ingredients are large leeks fancy apples moomoo cheese boiled eggs smoked pork tails and fruit bunches two out of six of these ingredients can be found scattered across the wild area and those are the large leek and fancy apple this means these ingredients aren't very practical to use if you are not soft resetting and i wouldn't personally recommend them the other four ingredients i listed can all be sold by various ingredient traders around the game one is located in the isle of armor outside the dojo that ingredient trader is stood next to the berry trader the other trader is located directly outside of hammerlock in the wild area he is located to the left of the exit the third ingredient trader is located directly ahead from the meet-up spot in the wild area he is situated under a tree in the rolling fields ingredients are locked to a certain set of items each day so the desired ingredient is not there go to a den and date skip to refresh the shops now we are done with our hunting methods of course now you will want to find a route to hunt on we'll move on to our next section pokemon locations [Music] not every single pokemon can be found while cooking curry curry hunting is limited to 21 areas which are the slumbering wheeled the deep slumbering wheeled route 1 early route 2 late route 2 route 3 dollar mine 1 route 4 route 5 gallermine 2 motor stoke outskirts route 6 the glimwood tangle route 7 route 8 steam driftway route 9 shortchester bay outer spike move winter hill station and route 10. don't forget curry pokemon cannot be hunted in the wild area or the crown tundra or the isle of armor this is very important the pokemon available in the slumbering wheel are rookie d grubbin blip bug hoot hoot and squabbit the deep slumbering wheel contains corvinite or beetle butterfree mana gallarian stun fisk and and wheezing the pokemon available in route 1 are caterpie lip bug squivet grubbin and hoot hoot route 2 is split into two sections early route 2 in late route 2. the pokemon available in early route 2 are hoot blip bug purloin rookie d c dot and low tad in this section cdot is only available in pokemon sword and low tad is only available in pokemon shield the pokemon available in late route 2 are gossip floor blip bug purloin choodle c dot and low tad in this section sira is only available in pokemon sword and low tad is only available in pokemon shield the pokemon available in route 3 are sisloped rookie d machop clink mudbray and pancham galarmine 1 has rock and rolla drilbur rolly coley timber woobat and diglett route 4 has seven pokemon there are gallarian meows wulu milsuri joltek pharaseed badoo and cutie fly on route 5 dotler asper dewpider ninkata aplin swarlix spritzy nuzzle leaf and lambre are all available on this route swirlix and nuzleaf are exclusive to pokemon sword and spritzy and lombre are exclusive to pokemon shield in galar mine 2 noibat bainikol shalas wimpod shuckle gallary and stun fist choodle scraggy and krogunk are all available in this route scribe game by nicole are exclusive to sword and krogunk is exclusive to shield now you may be wondering why bionicle is exclusive to sword this is because of a weird way in which the versions determine which pokemon spawned in which weather pokemon sword doesn't have any weather variety in it but pokemon shield does in motor stoke outskirts you can get rock and rolla ponyard choodle impedimp scraggy and krogun in this area scraggy is exclusive to pokemon sword and krogan is exclusive to pokemon shield on route 6 halucha silly cobra hippopotas durant duskel scorupy heatmore and torkle are available for the glimwood tangle morgram shinatik hatram phantump orangaru passimian swirlix spritzy gallary and ponita indeedy and sinister are all available in this area swirlix passimian and malindi are all exclusive to sword and spritzy oranguru female indeedy and golarian ponita are only available in shield both forms of synesthy forgery and authentic are available on route 7 toxil corvinite seismatode shellmet keroblast lipard and myostic are all available male meow stick is only in sword whereas female majestic is only in shield route 8 is split into two sections route 8 in steam driftway row 8 has hippodon phalanx bronzong ryhorn sandaconda haunter drapion and duslops in the steamdriftway you can get snom sneezel snover delhi bird and galaria and daramaka galariandara maka is exclusive to sword route 9 is split into three areas route 9 churchester bay and outer spikemuth route 9 has cramarat kingler pincurchen and artillery churchester bay contains pinkerton cramerin ink and gastrodon outer spike mouth contains lipard berserker fievel and morpico lastly route 10 is split into two sections winter hill station and route 10. winter hill station has clang ride on galarian daramaka snom and vanillish golorian daramak is in sword only route 10 contains gallary and daramaka sanjoner icecu snom obama snow bear tick and vanillish galarian daramaka and stonejoiner are exclusive to pokemon sword and icu can only be found in pokemon shield i can't comment on encounter rates for these pokemon different research gives different results and it's still not something we are sure about for now we aren't sure how they work
