ULTIMATE Bone Marrow LOBSTER LAKE Vietnamese Pho & "Bone in" BEEF RIB Bánh mì Sandwich

[Music] hey guys Mike Chang here in San Francisco California today's food is kind of starting late in the afternoon and the reason I'm here is for this place right here Kitchen and Bar let's go get some fun [Music] thank you this restaurant serves all the traditional Vietnamese dishes and they leveled up a lot of them too now I've seen a lot of giant marrow bones at Vietnamese restaurants I never see anything like this this is a good 20 pounds at least this broth is cooked for 24 hours to look at the size of these ginormous bones with Boba straws going right into the marrow this makes me think that somehow they must have brought dinosaurs to life usually this comes with a shot so you drink the shot and you slurp up the bone marrow and then the broth this is the first time I ever was just sucked up bone marrow and a straw never thought of bubble tea straw would fit inside a bone to allow me to even do this but sucking up pure beef butter through a straw that's an experience and then you chase the mural with some full bra those places not playing around got some outrageous dishes but the flavor is 100 there the broth is so light and clear and just incredibly beefy especially after that slurp of beef fat there's some tendons just flowing around on the outside of the foam grab some of that this is about us beefy and buttery and tender of a Dish as you can find anywhere on this planet [Music] scallops Abalone snails muscle sitting on a sizzling hot plate with some peppers and onions peanuts and scallions and garlic on top and a little extra ginger sauce on the side [Music] this stuff is absolutely outrageous mask out soft fruit and Tinder muscle Snappy and delicious abalone salsa tender and all that juice on the bottom make sure to now waste a single drop of that snails are nice and snappy I mean this whole plate from texture to flavor as sweet as garlicky the seafood is so succulent and tender your taste buds would not get bored for a second with this dish [Music] I don't think this place does anything small this next dish comes in that tub for Godzilla's size bronze with the biggest head you have ever seen sitting on some rice noodles some fresh herbs and there's a smell so good I just look at the size of this thing it's almost the size of a lobster open up the head and gain access to the best part of the prawn where all that flavor is and look at the succulent meat on the tail don't that into the sauce I would say dunk this into the head of the prawn as well one bite of this will bring a tear to your eye the sauce is sweet it's buttery but it does not cover up how naturally sweet the piran is the prawns hail dipped a little bit into the inners itself gives this an additional Umami boost of course they had I swear it's the prom meet us all the best flavor just resides right here again mommy filled dinners mixed in with that sweet buttery sauce and then Chase it with some of the rice noodles oh my gosh this thing the noodles dipped into this sweet buttery sauce that's not even borderline addictive that's just pure addiction the texture the noodles are so chewy too oh my God and if it gets too much Chase it with a little pickle radish this whole dish absolute buttery perfection [Music] thank you Lebanese steak and eggs on a sizzling hot plate their steak looks like sausage onions tomatoes gooey eggs and just a bone full of mineral on top and underneath the barrel look at that Pate right underneath that what I like to do is break the ace look how gooey and delicious that is break the eggs stab it into the marrow and the pate get some of that all over your bucket pop a tomato as well just for some extra sweet juice crunchy but got gooey eggs Pate with the marrow so rich buttery I haven't even had the steak yet oh look how tender this is so tender it's ridiculous Vietnamese steak and eggs my opinion absolute best there's so much going on on this place so many different flavors and textures I'm gonna just take my baguette drop some steak on here some sausage fish cakes pate and Merrell a little bit of eggs a little bit of everything that by borderline made me emotional the sausage is smoking asleep tastes like laptop ate brings such a nice organic flavor as well steak is so tender and juicy I mean I've had this dish a lot never had it with bone marrow before that just adds another level of butteriness to this dish so fantastic [Music] thank you [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] the bread is an afterthought it's just very tiny little red giant piece of meltier melt beef rib in the middle gooey eggs bone marrow on top onions cucumbers herbs on the bottom dunk it into the trippings it's sweet it's Savory it's so Smoky and gooey oh they also got some hot oil as well I'm just gonna go ahead and add that in this too I think I love any dish that shows over your table well that's your enormous knife this is the most outrageous mommy I've ever had I mean it's so everything that rib is just melts in your mouth it doesn't just look extract gonna tastes amazing as well one last dish and this one it's literally a monster [Music] this is the wildest bowl of pho I've ever encountered in my life nothing is more wild than this I've had thought where there was a beef rib I'd have Pho where there's a whole lobster I have never had fun with a whole lobster and three ginormous deep ribs and is covered in bone marrow sitting in brothel has been sibling for 20 hours this thing just takes my breath away the claw is already shown for you Cheyenne pounding a quarter of lobster and look at the beef rib the bone just comes sliding out that is how tender the beef red is look at that there's another dish I'm adding to the list of foods I can eat when I'm 90 and have no teeth because you barely eat a chew this thing juice you put in your mouth it's the beef butter the broth has so much flavor it's almost a meat overload and that's the kind of foods I like a little splash of lime thick white noodles in the bottom again so much mineral and slices of beef tendon and of course that sweet sweet Lobster and they give you a side of spicy dipping sauce to go with your Lobster all that great beefy flavor of the broth definitely steeped into the noodles these slices of beef you can definitely see them hardly on these pieces oh my gosh they're so soft this restaurant has such a fun atmosphere every dish I tried has been Sensational all the strings I've had this is a meat you slush by the way that's so good these dishes they're extravagant they're fun most of all they actually taste good and via the owner has such a great attitude you can tell he loves what he does loves interacting with the people eating here all the staff are so friendly you can for sure taste this passion in the food this has definitely been the most intimidating dish of the night but overall this place if you love Vietnamese food you got to give this place a try and so if you want to check the
