they all carpetbagger here coming to you live from the South more specifically Blowing Rock North Carolina and I am in front of tweetsie Railroad this is an amusement park who was built in nineteen fifties based around some actual trains never been here before we're gonna take our initial trip to tweetsie Railroad right now follow me alright looks like a yellow Wild West Main Street theme going on here this is the tweet Z in jail in here so if we got a jail cell uh-oh that this imprisoned mannequin right there wonder what he did can all these customized sheriff's badges oh this one's a bit confusing I'm Sheriff hobo hmm this is Angus the cow does he talk as yet animatronic looks like his cords been severed sorry Angus for a good time open the door do I hear hear it's okay [Music] all right getting on the train here [Music] I'm telling you if you get a cinder in your eye of flaming cinder in your eyeball that the first day I'll help you get it out no problem [Music] fake Boot Hill Cemetery it's not the real Cemetery Oh so they got a noose yeah are you okay [Applause] [Music] oh very angry Native American let's jump down the well the Benny Benny Hill sequence [Music] yeah alright case it's in three spokes on backs down please [Music] a little teepee right there there's a haunted house across the way but that does not look like it's currently open this is called the tweetsie palace [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] deal what this is right here you know if this is you sit right there that is a cow a couch couch there's an old-style shooting gallery in here is that a raccoon oh the taxidermy skunk moved look that monkey back there what was that chickens chopping wood this machine here can win a ac/dc pocket watch and there's looks like it's North Korean money that has Kim Jong Il's face on it so weird but is it going is that it no it's going oh it didn't it didn't go all the way down oh yeah this money clip the plastic is turned yellow early kid gamble the Colorama yeah I guess it's a sort of gambling machine that's in skee-ball and gorilla King as a scary gorillas how does this work see it's at some point in gorilla King okay it's on that little catapult there I guess I got to fling it in its mouth [Music] it's got to be some of the lowest clearance I've ever seen on a sky left alright let's go for a ride on the old timey chairlift that'll make it's cold yeah not all that far off the ground really pumpkins these they're always the most nerve-wracking restraints because they don't really feel like they do much all right thank you there's a tweetsie coffin all right the Deer Park look at that little deer right there how are you doing little deer and you oh you snuck out didn't you it's Aniki little deer hey Amy oh are you boo don't jump-scare me bro oh that it's a big old go how's it going they call their scrambler the tweetsie twister Oh jeepers can't today today you become a real engineer what you get to drive the train back pretty sure she's landing oh nice take focus we've got it precisely 12 minutes and 53 seconds until departure sometimes however gets a little distracted ha ha dang it I thought actually come up with that on my own that's kind of a pretty trip back down the mountain [Music] get cowgirl hats for any girl that wants to be a cowgirl and horse head for any boy that wants to be a horse [Music] so I've wrote the train a couple of times today and I just wanted to give you a little tip the middle car has the best view of you know the gunfights and what's going on you sit closer to the front or back it kind of obstructs your view and also you want to sit on the right side of the Train cuz that's where everything happens first rate you guys joining me here today at tweetsie Railroad the Train certainly is the kind of the center point and focal area of the park and very cool to have a classic Wild West Park still in operation but we're not finished yet because as the Sun sets on Blowing Rock North Carolina and tweetsie Railroad we will encounter spookiness and the train will be converted to the ghost train stay tuned
