Turning Pokemon Into Animal Crossing Villagers

all right welcome back to another YouTube video random Pokemon generator is what we're doing today we are making Pokemon into Animal Crossing characters what if everyone lived in Animal Crossing or they look like let's find out what we're gonna do is gonna pick one Pokemon well do three in the video but we want one just for now from all regions let's do everywhere all types movies let's legendaries basically and super overpowered ones not fully evolved Pokemon definitely I want to see this part because I have a bad memory nature's don't matter for this forms does that include mega revolt evolutions and stuff I want to do that oh yeah okay and here's that his the his little is the rule I get one re-roll so the Pokemon sucks or he's just way too difficult then I can reroll again but I'm stuck with that the the one that comes up afterwards so we do a test this is what happens when you hit generate I heard this isn't a good one it's gonna be a good one ah vanilla I would actually be pretty funny it would have been good damn it okay let's just start let's just do this just jump into it Jenna right Bob Chansey Chansey and the animal crossing star which even look any different are there such round Animal Crossing characters you know what I'm gonna I think I'm gonna re-roll this is so risky but I'm doing it Bobby Oh Nick it oh that's cool hit the like of your hype subscribe if you haven't already and let's just do this I found this thing on route 1 I was like yes we got it we got this awesome dark-type fox thing I'm sort of thinking oh it's gonna be a Vulpix kind of thing but it was not I hope you guys can see this line it's the first time I'm sort of drawing live on the on this setup and I got to figure out exactly how what the camera to be but I was really disappointed when she when she wasn't basically like an eye test that you know I mean like just Lee's nice sort of pretty looking but evil mind to us out of there because that's that's what I was kind of expecting but we got mustachio we got Sora she didn't it didn't look cool and it didn't look pretty wasn't particularly cute either but I do think as cool as these little gloves that Nick it wears I don't even noticed there's the kind of like little thief gloves yeah oh I'm gonna make a little faith you are gonna steal some things you are gonna take Tom nooks spells and give them to me let's figure out a face you have these big cool shaped cool shape eyes and then you're like kind of sad eyes in there it's sad you just like not into it they don't care about us do you yeah I can tell this tale doesn't make all is it she's right to grab stuff with the tail should have looked up a pokedex entry before this I'm do that for the next guy weird tail that plumps into the ground like an octopus like you're gonna steal things that's what you do huh big ear shapes okay it's a real quick what does thief where not only what does the thief wear but what is an animal crossing is there an animal crossing thief I actually haven't played animal crossing in ages when was the last time I played it on the dais and I played like way too much of it I feel like I was in was I even in high school yet do I make you kind of like I mean this wouldn't make sense to make you like an RPG if I want to do that that's a future video why didn't I think of that before you have a little scarf thingy like a rogue I mean that makes sense right otherwise this guy's Dora it's alright it's a reference to surah why do I get the one-piece guy with a freaking old the mask thief right who is or this of Zorro to Oz yeah I mean this is basically you you are Zorro okay can they this way they can't just wear a scarf right and gloves that's that's not on that's not okay they're civilized animals you wear a top Oh at all times do you wear at all there you go that's cool I forgot you're sad eyebrows you look so sad why not I don't do enough really nice clean line little nose triangle eyebrows I do this in one go now Oh God I swear I make so many sound effects like if link was born in the 21st century and had a Wacom tablet but he'd do that yeah I gotta stop that I don't know why I do that I didn't do it when I'm not filming it's a strange lady super weird whoops I never gave you a meth ego is your mouth oh you're like your smug that's what you are you're smug all that's animal crossing yeah you're smug find that if I line up think you got a you well I mean this is just a fact for things to feel like they are really a 3d shape and it's something like eyes that should be on the exact same level you gotta try and match that so never I'm drawing eyes is what I'm doing I also find that if I'm trying to do straight ish lines going vertically it's way easier than trying to go horizontal I don't know if that's just me but I'm gonna say it's a tip if you want better lines that are kind of strayed ish you should go like this what I cannot believe I make sound effects when I draw what is going on here yeah like I said that's the first time I'm drawing and filming at the same time so excuse everything this is working out okay oh no what was what was my line thickness something I try to do is work with this the same max line weight these kind of things so you can keep the thickest lines consistent that works I forgot your eye oh sorry man it'll do look let's add some color so your lines are on the top skip it on the bottom let's put some cars in between and here's a pro tactic you might not know all the areas that I want that like burnt orange I'm going to use the W which is the magic wand W for what easy and I'm going to close each line that would encapsulate that shape then go select modify expand I have this set to control shift Emma I expand by a couple of pixels three is usually pretty good I'm gonna go with two just in case because you don't want it to expand too far outside of your lines like this stuff and we can pick that color that she is now you can either use a big sweep a big brush and just fill it in or I often just go alt delete' up to and a little more red I'll delete Oh bula let's go to this family okay hello you have colors now I'm gonna do your kind of gray bits have an interesting great put a bit of that red to it well but not much kind of browny gray think I nailed it expand and let's color you it touch these guys expand and fill them in with grace pick a nice kind of pinky color nice now her eyes kind of like this golden yellow yeah seems about right okay here's something cool let's get this orange if you layer on top we hold alt and we click between the two and we get this like it's got a clipping mask technically it's basically if I draw everywhere over here it's drawn everywhere but if I want to keep it contained on top of just this orange color I can clip this to the orange layer boom now I can only draw in here which means I can do you a nice little pending there you go do a little shoe things what is this called underbelly color thing the question is what color is your top so I'm gonna hit pretty simple here I think your top is the same color is the rest of you now that so using trying to keep your color simple is important if you don't want to be boring so little things like the eyes the easy to forget but stealing colors from there that's a part tactic mockings but you have little mockings yeah oh wait let's add some shading we can just do some really basic sort of soft cell shading as long as you know where your lights coming from mine's kind of traditional sunlight from up here here's my son let's make sure to focus on what the shape really is and how the light would wrap around that you can get a nice it's a realistic chatter to it so if the light is coming from here not only is this ear all in shadow but this thing is kind of dropping and shadow too yeah because these are popping out let's make sure that they are the right kind of lighting some of these actually one of my favorite things to do is not just using black lights what I like to do is grab the darkest color in this sort of hair and his mega darker lock the layout and the drawer over alright Nick it is completely Levada looks like she's from Animal Crossing one down two to go back in the randomizer we want one new Pokemon same rules is before we get one reroll it's a one that we generate now it's no good too hard too easy we can skip it but we can't go back let's go generate Bop para gun - that's I think I like that I think that's kind of hilarious I really like these colors - all right we're gonna you're gonna get some legs man and some and some arms will make you work buddy don't worry about it so this is very very Randy boy again so doc futuristic doc thing with a aesthetic color scheme how does your nose even work I will never ever no that's okay your head isn't like really on a circle big eyes nice think I'm using the wrong eraser ah that's nicer all right much better thanks your nose your long oh man now you have a funny neck and a big ass boom other body oh this is gonna be adorable okay there's your dunk upper body dizzy and it keeps his tail this is so funny do I have to okay so here's what happens you get real legs but you evolved even further think you have and I think you get arms is that does that ruin it it's a no longer porygon - if he gets popped I think I'm doing it I don't give any minute oh this looks really weird porygon Z Zed whatever has arms off so confused what's the rule here what's the animal crossing law I need to do more research doom did more than the other guy whatever going in you know a lot of Randy shapes so you're gonna be annoying aren't you that is now that that'll do that'll do donkey oh this is really difficult okay here's something that you can do things just aren't working out the way you want put on the smoothing smoothing please think you're you have a cool hoodie my friend these little dangly thing girly things I don't know what they're called drawstrings I think I remembered that they're called drawstrings I'm almost tempted to make you not have arms here I'm not gonna do it Oregon - you are so cool Oregon is a ballet is pink with a badass blue probably one of the most popular combinations these days as usual expand oh yeah but that's not the red that you are the pink that you are but I'm going with it for now so what about your blue bits your bit deeper of a blue now that'll that's it okay I don't know if that looks right on camera the question becomes do I make this hoodie white or is that boring do I make it more crazy pink system think we're gonna make it crazy pink let's give this guy's big highlights what the hell am i drawing logo goes pink NASA hoodie normally I would get text out here I'm not gonna do I was gonna draw this on me I'm riding I've already screwed it NASA swoop and some doggie things draw strings shading just like before think about the light where it's coming down from so if it's coming from here it's gonna hit the top of this probably not this for the pink use that sort of deeper pink for your shadows which might make you look a bit more like you're supposed to eyeball oh yeah oh my god this is circle coloring in lines try think of a time that I ever actually used porygon does anyone use it think porygon two is actually apparently kind of good in the competitive scene at some point she wouldn't expect just looking at him and he'd do okay these lines do look a lot thinner than then Nick it's but that's fine all right here's a little something something that I like doing I like the Dodge tool the Dodge tool oh okay so it often takes a little bit of effort to work on pink but if you use a super soft brush and just build it up you can get some real serious like realistic looking reflective looking lights look at that same with blue actually I think it's pretty tough to work on blue yeah I love Dodge alright Oregon to complete that's two down blue is gonna be next I'm scared round three I really like that part on one I want something cool though what are the odds I actually get something that I want out of there it's way too many Pokemon let's just dive in oh you you you you are not cool you're not cool I often forget that later you can even evolve you know what I'm taking the risk come on let's go oh my god okay we got requires it that's the best that's organized was waiting for something cool ah he doesn't have legs either why does this keep happening we got two out of the three Pokemon who don't have the proper Anatomy to be an atom animal crossing character I'll figure it out we can give you they got arms you can have legs that look like your arms this is gonna be crazy all right right closer whoa let's go okay for those of you who want to do like consistency in terms of character design here's something that can do you make yourself grit is it about the size of their head this is about you know the full size of their body so if they leave these on with with rayquaza then we might we should end up with something consistent even though they're not here you guys wanna can't even see that anymore what do you say Rayquaza or Rayquaza am i the weed one feel like I'm always the weird one let's sketch brush keep it loosey-goosey let's find out what spray quads are all about I want some story I want to know what in the world you would wear if you're a casual dude in a little animal town rayquaza live for hundreds of millions of years in the Earth's ozone layer never descending to the ground what does that say about the fashion sense of Rayquaza you had a look away to angry to be an animal crossing man oh you may be so angry oh no ya big ear things like a freaking plane you have angry eyebrows you have a snake body which again I don't know if that's gonna work you know what's kind of I'm sort of feeling it I think I'm feeling God you're cool what the world who designed this thing this is sort of figure out some shapes here you have arms body small small body big head so can I make it so you are kind of still a snake thing but you have legs even if you're a snake oh you are crazy you're crazy man you can see how much how much more complicated this is compared to the other two guys why did I ask for something cool you're trying to pay off your loan man we got a house my ladder give him legs I'm making this the rules but you guys can tell me whether or not I should be giving them legs this is the dumbest drawing I've ever drawn I don't want to give him up I don't like giving him lex Rayquaza you are a snake and you will never not be a snake this is the worst sketch ever you are a teacher you are a teacher you are way too cool to be a teacher I'm going back a cool varsity jacket thing scary hands ear man you're cool this he's mouth ever clothes kind of want to drawer closed but if it never closes and that would be incorrect with me and kind of design this oh that's cool I would wear that all right we're going in two lines lime brush if like I haven't been starting with eyes I'm gonna do that let's draw break wises shop crazy I shop everything maybe if we make things a little bit more rounded than they're supposed to be it might feel a little bit more animal crossing is actually supposed to be animal crossing after all a year that works here comes the tricky part it's basically the moment of truth here does he have legs or not I thought the tail will be way harder than it was but the lines have been kind of good to me think softer doing to like three of these in a row it's getting a little bit clean a little bit more confidence the right word could be do you get legs what do you swivel along the ground I think you swivel along the ground man that looks cool right you're a swimmer what's the word squirm it's definitely a real word for that and I'm just using the word Scrabble crazy hands like I said crazy hands a million times all right that's kind of that's freaking kind of epic I would play this game oh no there's no oh okay doing it wrong should actually look at the design when I'm doing this so you have a whole bunch of little uh whatever these things are called that make you you're fast there are dynamic thingies seek we're on the homestretch goth you're way hotter than all the other ones let's do some color green green green grain grain grain expand the selection let's pick a green feel like you're like a little bit on the blue east side of grains yeah it looks about right green hands green crazy hands do I make his jacket kind of like he's shiny I think that is a sick idea was a little strong it's desaturate that that looks insane on the camera we have to figure out that out one day but for now it looks right to me in real life it's filling your yellow things you know things yellow thing oh we missed some green come back here the other thing how could I forget your crazy eye I fill you in with this gray I'm like these yellow think I do keep some of the shading so I give the same sort of lighting for all of them it's kind again this thing we haven't done his line colors yet because we've done the see how
