Tula's House - Episode 8 Preview - Strikeoffs

this one is a different story and it's always the simplest prints that cause the most trouble you know you'd think it'd be the 14 to 18 color print that is making everything a nightmare no it's the two color line work prints on a solid background that's caused me all the trouble but if they're not quite if the two colors sitting next to each other don't quite work together like mustard yellow and mint green are wildly opposite colors they'll tend to bleed into each other and you need one color to be stronger than the next color so that it can overpower it and clean up that line is essentially what trapping is so this is called bad trapping very very bad trapping so I couldn't let this go especially because the other colorways of this print we're working and you can't have the other one sharp and then one be really fuzzy because it just draws attention to the fact that you have very bad and crapping and it makes you look like a terrible fabric designer and we can't have that
