Please note that this website is currently a work in progress! Lots of interesting data and statistics to come.
Thanks for posting this. Its sad that this is the publicity Tucson gets.
These "parks" are all over town, often close to housing developments with new construction.
If anything, this video kinda makes me miss living in a trailer when I was a kid. You can either make it a rundown gross place, or keep it clean and fixed up. We had friends we could play with not too far from home and my mom had old ladies to talk to. It doesn't always suck. But then again, I was a kid. Everything seems happy when you're a kid.
What I still say is that it kept us off the the streets when we first moved back from Mexico. And as we worked our way up, we found a decent home in a not-too-bad side of town that my mom can call her own. I'm more in line with the guy who had the God Bless America shirt. I still think there's opportunity; sometimes you just gotta start way at the bottom.
I looked up where this place is located. It's just Northwest of Grant and Oracle. Interesting video, thanks for posting.
Confused as to the intent of this video. To show the living conditions of trailer homes? This is very common all over the country. Why specify Tucson? As said, sad to see that the likes of BBC are representing Tucson as such. Tucsons a growing city that's much more beautiful beyond this.
Here is another one... http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-30854865
Meh. Trailers don't have to suck. Personally I'm looking to get one so that I don't have to keep wasting money on apartment rent each month. Like the dude in the video said, $3500 (or more like $10k for a nice one) will get you your own home. Even with lot rental and utilities it's a couple hundred dollars cheaper every month than even a studio apartment.
What a ringing endorsement for Empire Beauty.
I'm not sure I believe the statistics. Roughly 1 in 5 homes is a trailer?
The manager does remind of Mr Lahey
