♪ (upbeat theme music) ♪ - (intrigued) Oh! ♪ (eerie music) ♪ (laughing) Nice! - What is this? This is actually really cool. It's Halloween. This is gonna be scary. This is less cool. I just realized where I am. - (FBE) Today, we're going to show you a series of clips from horror films-- - Oh god, okay. - (FBE) But the thing is you can't get scared. - Do you not know who I am?! - (groaning) I hate you guys so much. - (exhaling) That's gonna be tough. - I'm a little bit of-- this much of a scaredy-cat, so we'll see. - It's gonna be easy. EASY. - (FBE) If you jump or flinch, you lose. And just to keep you honest, we also have this. - No! You've gotta be kidding me. - What is it? - (FBE) This is a heart rate monitor. - Okay. - (FBE) Everyone's resting heart rate is a little different, but if you end up too high compared to your own, you're out. - Really? So we can't even fake our way through it. - This changes everything. I'm excited. I'm ready. - How did you get here? - (boy) They were chasing me. - (inhales deeply) - (boy) Screaming. I was scared. I ran-- - I don't think I've seen this before. - (boy) They were empty. (uncovering blinders) - (woman) Who were chasing you? - Oh god. - Okay, well, this is unfair 'cause little children are always just inherently terrifying. - (boy) There's others too. - I feel like my heart is gonna start beating faster just because I know something's coming. - (woman) Sam? ♪ (scary note) ♪ - (hissing) - (gasping) (glass shatters) - (laughing) That face freaked me out. (buzzer) - (hissing) (glass shatters) (growling) - Oh my god. (woman screams) (banging noises) - No. - (woman shrieks) - I don't like this. - (FBE) Your heart rate got too high. - Which means that I lost? (buzzer) - (woman) Sam? - (hissing) (glass shatters) - (woman shrieks) - (snickering) - (woman shrieks) - Nothing. I'm good. - (woman shrieks) - Ugh. - (woman shrieks in agony) - That's why I stay strapped. That's why I stay ready to go. - (alien hisses softly) - (astronaut) Come here. - This is Prometheus. - (alien hisses aggressively) - (astronaut) It's okay. It's okay. (laughing) It's okay. - Oh god, that's not good. - (astronaut) You're strong. - Ow! - (astronaut) Maybe you could help me now, okay? (frantically) Get off, man, okay?! (man shrieks) (alien squeezing tightly) - The alien's like a really weird piece of jewelry around his arm. (bones snap) - (astronaut shrieks) - Wow. (sinews tear) - (astronaut screams) - Oh my god! (sizzling) - (astronauts screaming in anguish) Oh my god! Oh-- (screaming) - Great special effects. - (astronaut whimpers) (astronaut screams) - Ugh. I just find that gross. Broken bones and slugs going in your body, it puts a damper on your day. (buzzer) - (astronaut shrieks) - That is brutal. Those are cool effects though. - My heart rate is there a little bit, but it's just 'cause that's what they want you to feel. (people chattering) - (little girl) Braedon! - Ah, not with the kids. - (little girl) Come out, come out, wherever you are! - Ah, it's the worst when it's kids. - Why do they always go looking for trouble? They always go looking for it. - This one's gonna be a jumpscare. I already know. Oh no. (door creaks) - (little girl) Braedon? - Oh god. I hate first-person filming. Oh god. - I feel like this one's gonna get me, goddamn it. - I try to avoid horror films. And for this reason. 'Cause it's dark and scary. (static) - No! ♪ (ghastly note) ♪ Oh my god. (static) - Oh my gosh! - (girl shrieks) (camera thuds) - Okay, that was unfair! It had all the elements that were gonna freak me out. It was children, nightvision, first-person camera. That's terrifying! (buzzer) (static) - (girl shrieks) (camera thuds) (running footsteps) - She shouldn't have been in that room. She needed to get out. Children need boundaries. That was good parenting. (crew chattering) - (Kane) The first thing I'm gonna do... - Okay, I know this movie. - (Kane) ...when I get back is to get some decent food. - (Parker) I can dig it. - See, now, things like this-- that's where it gets scary 'cause it's just normal, and then something's gonna happen. - (Parker) I don't wanna talk about what it's made of. I'm eating this-- - (Kane chokes) (coughing and gagging) - (Parker) What's the matter? - (Kane wheezes and groans) - See? What is going on? - There's gotta be some alien coming in somewhere, right? - (Parker shrieks) - (alien hisses) - That's nasty. (laughs) - (Parker shrieks) - Dude... - (Parker shrieks) - (Ripley screams) - Oh my lord. - (Ripley screams) - There's a difference between scary and disgusting. - You're in outer space. At what point do you see that and be like, "I'm out." - (alien growls) (glass shatters) (objects clatter) - I don't want to eat for a week after watching this. (laughing) - (FBE) Are you ready for your last video? - (stammering) The last one, huh? Okay. - I really hope I can do this. If it's the last one that gets me, I'm gonna be so mad. - "Final video." - (screaming) - (shrieking) SHIT! (laughing) (buzzer) - Okay, final video. - (growling) - AAAH! (buzzer) - It's gonna be my pictures-- - (growling) - Jesus! I'm sorry I hit you. (laughing) (buzzer) - (growling) - (laughing) Got me a little bit. Got me a little bit. (buzzer) - Uh-oh. - (growling) - Oh my god! What? (laughing) (buzzer) - (sighing) Final video. - (growling) - AAAAH!!! NOOOO! That was good. Oh! You suck! (buzzer) - (growling) - AAAAAAH! I knew that was gonna happen! In my head I was like, "No, they're not gonna have a jumpscare," but you had a jumpscare! (laughing) And I want to go home. (buzzer) - (growling) - Oh. ♪ (ghastly chime) ♪ - Dang it! Wait, does that mean I lose? (buzzer) - I'm a fan of all of this.
