TRENCH CLUBS!!! A Nasty Weapon of WWI 😦

everyone knows that world war one was an exceptionally nasty war and this artifact at the Gettysburg Museum of History really exemplifies that this is an example of a trench Club so in trench warfare well once soldiers got down into the trenches it was difficult to maneuver so they fashioned these weapons that could be used in close quarters combat and they really used whatever they could get their hands on so here you can see the wooden handle and then it looks like this individual also found some gears and then this small European railroad spike to Fashion this nasty weapon can't even imagine the damage that that would do [Music] laughs
