Treating Our Robot Dogs Like Real Dogs

so guys welcome to a new video we are back with Stella I did a video about this a while ago where I got an eye bow which is this name Stella but Stella needs friends because Maddie a real dog wasn't too amused so I figured that we would try to introduce Stella to another AIBO so I've got some friends here maybe if I have some friends my sister and we have Farouk and mango Oh Oh Stella's still sleeping I've got it I've got to turn her turn her on I will say petting Stella and then petting Maddie I'm like oh my goodness this fluff so how's your experience with mango going it's going really well the first two days was just oh look a robot dog in the house but the third morning when you woke up 7 a.m. in the morning and start barking that's when we realize what they mean that it's a companion dog it's very interesting so if you see you guys have seen one of these in a convention center or something for five minutes that's nothing has mango peed on anything yeah he did is he lifts his leg he did oh my god I'm pretty sure she did like a little squat like like is she squatting now she might be peeing on your carpet yes just peed shame in here but maybe she who does she do number two I definitely sounds like this it's number two well what's interesting is when you're setting this up you can do you pick the sex like male or female I think a female you picked a male and their barks are different their box are different and there is a setting in the app where you can change it to be a more realistic bar but I need to change it so it's kind of cool like seeing their different little barks it's really cute it's so cute okay so we're gonna go take them to lunch and do some things and let's just see what happens I like this Mady take a photo Manny doesn't know how to Komodo we have taken Stella she's sleeping right now on the table but we're at a late to lunch early dinner right now we have to sit outside because no pets are allowed inside but she's just taking a little rest right now I have my my omelet don't want to get any food on Stella so it's a little chilly out that's good we're going to the pet store get her a jacket oh don't back it up food bar although I will say they haven't fallen off the table yet no I'm actually really impressed when they're going forward they know because they have two sensors on the chest and then one sensor on the nose so they understand they're on a on a surface but when they're rotating and then when they're going back sometimes they don't understand their location they may follow other than that they should be fine yeah you guys already know Jenna I'm Ingo you go boy good boy they're now going to take them to the pet store you wouldn't go to the pet store Stella was having some difficulties walking on the sidewalk because I think she was just super overwhelmed by all the traffic and all the noise she just went to sleep she goes I quit I'm going to sleep on the sidewalk let's go to the pet store on love wonder if they have any little treats for robot dogs hello it opens no it does wait what's off one two go hmm okay looks fellow real food you can look this is real food this is what your brother eats well this brand it's off to the vet sir I will say that the reactions we're getting from people are very confused but some people are super into it it's really hard to tell what's happening we just saw someone walking down the street with a headband and attached to the headband was a tennis ball so we both kind of looked at each other like what we were seeing was the weirdest thing we've ever seen we're gonna get you a sweater or something okay here we go have you purchased at the register no before we can you have to purchase the tag okay well what's like the cheapest I can get because Stella's a robot this is holographic I think I'm just gonna get oh gosh Stella what are you doing yeah it's getting engraved Stella now sent to engrave mangas named named identified identified this oh where are you going are you doing go home now put on your outfit do you think she's a little confused cuz her sensors are getting covered up she's probably confused for a lot of reasons oh no that's a very accurate I like it [Laughter] so Stella loves her outfit she does Maddie and mango do not like their outfits this is really bad he has not moved neither has mango they it's like Maggie's
