Orbisons voice is like butter.
If it's possible for a supergroup to be under the radar, it's the Wiburys. Amazing how many people haven't heard of them.
I doesnβt surprise me that Jeff Lynne is still alive, Bob Dylan being the only other Wilbur left does surprise me tho
There are super groups then there is the Wilburys, a new unattainable bar for super groups. There simply will never be another that even comes close.
You're the MVP for posting this. I've loved George Harrison and the Traveling Wilburys for years and never knew about this.
One of their songs has been going through my head the past few days - there's a box in my garage that says "Handle with Care" and every time I see it I start thinking of the song. Now I need to find my cd. Or not, since I'm old and keep forgetting that I can just find it on youtube.
I love that Tom Petty and Jeff Lynne have their Wilbury names listed in the βOther Namesβ section of their Wikipedia entries.
I've watched this one, it's great. So many legends in one room making music together. You just don't get that anymore in the digital recording age.
For correctness, per the video credits (and IMDB), this is a 2007 production.
