Trash Picking For Free Stuff & Getting Projects Done!

so oh what are you carrying on about the hose it's a hose here we have a nice fossil also known as just a driveway stone it's not a fossil it's probably one of the worst things about having a stone driveway is just stone just end up being tracked everywhere throughout the whole yard uh but today today is not trash day today is actually trash day later on in the day but i'm going down the morning uh because i got a ton of things planned today there always old iced coffee actually i haven't got my stuff out uh that is not trash that has to get taken to the warehouse they probably don't want coffee with that uh do that all right uh what was i gonna say oh yeah got a lot of things planned today i have to get a new chainsaw mine is completely shot i think i seized the motor on it and there's just a lot going on blower boy make it a fun one we're gonna go trash picking this morning see if anyone threw anything out in those three towns drive by quickly and try to grab some metal and grab some things we can reuse or resell so let's get out there see who's in the trash day and hey let's make this a fun day let's do it oh i don't know if he grabbed one of these yesterday but you can almost always count on one of these that would be one of these lovely fold up chairs this one's really broken what's going on here that's broke that's what happened the other one plastic snapped off oh i don't know what i dropped hey i just kicked the stone oh yeah another chair i have to also get gas almost forgot about that i should turn down the radio what grab these these are those fans ac fan they go as a irony aluminum surprisingly i thought they'd do it as a small motor but for some reason they go without any aluminum so i clipped the cords on them i think they clipped the cords on them i'm sounding kind of rough sinuses in trouble today but i think they they uh they clip the pores on them because they don't work all right hello morning story time that house right there it's a college house now but the uh well there's a lot of stuff here the um the guy who was cleaning it out this goes back to my earlier days uh it goes back to my earlier days we got some metal here he was cleaning it out i saw him cleaning it out and while he was cleaning it out i stopped and grabbed some stuff and i said oh you're moving out this that he's like no i'm the landlord the uh the previous owner died and she had lived there out now 30 years and he had a huge pile of stuff that had to go it's like if you take it all you can have it and i said well my van's full right now but i'll come back tomorrow and i gave him my car and he was so excited about it he just never called me that started the whole uh phase of people who got my business card and just never called me back so that was that i don't know those people are sure grabbing a lot of metal here hey look a grip let's see what else we got here grab this bro is that all metal good morning [Music] so so sauce bag of golf clubs is the golf clubs in there are they in there they are there there's no golf balls i'll grab the golf clubs all right even when you expect not to find a girl you find a grill some cabinets down there random stuff out random stuff and a desk what looked like asbestos just laid on it i think over here is where that dresser was yesterday looks like it's still there oh yep somebody took off all the hardware someone took off all the hardware on that dresser and they got the top piece off that was kind of interesting so someone did come along and grab all the hardware i usually don't do that i don't think i've ever done that i've never taken hardware off a dresser and the only reason why is because if somebody won the dresser as a whole it's a little bit different than taking you know the hardware off it as opposed to cutting the cord of a vacuum cleaner like a vacuum cleaner you don't know what they vacuumed up a dresser i mean you can kind of see what's going on there you take off the hardware it's completely useless that someone could possibly be using you know actually i really like this chair well maybe the stand is still good this chair is awesome flip it over so you guys can see a bum in the middle of the room so i'm not trying to lollygag oh it's all busted out on the side i say i really like this chair let's grab just quickly i might keep this i'm gonna scrap this all right gonna cruise through town too quickly we got here on the left chair a chair gonna cruise through town too quickly and see if we grab anything in this beautiful area that garbage can was full all right town two it's just a range hood nothing really to it nobody has their trash out surprised we even found this i'll rescue it i have a lot of stuff so yeah this is a really cool stand this is going to be scrap because you can see it's all rust out this whole piece is broken i do like the chair but i can definitely sell that by itself i don't know how much but i think uh i think a lot of people will be interested in it i'm not even gonna re-spray paint it or spray it or paint it spray paint it now i'm going to do it just going to leave it as is rusty patina as i like to say nowadays patina all right so we just finished trash picking i have to drive or stop here at ace and pick up this chainsaw how's this place so packed it just opened 22 minutes ago this is bananas to me uh the worst thing about parking this van is that it's kind of a pain in the butt to get out of these spots but i guess that's just what we're gonna have to do all right i just stayed back there yeah see now it's ain't gonna work i'm just back into the spot the advanced the van sticks out probably like three or four feet i'd say three feet into [Music] into like that area the street i don't know what you even call that into the parking lot so kind of have to park the van like away from everyone else because i'm worried someone's going to just clip me uh so what do we need here oh i need my phone my wallet i want to see what these chainsaws are about so mine was giving me a ton of issues i still have to take down the tree on the island uh i went to take it down my brother yesterday the chainsaw just wouldn't work i took it apart need a new chainsaw uh the nice thing about it is it's one of those it's an older chainsaw which some people like a little bit more um but the nice thing about it is if i sell it on ebay for parts the difference in what i sell it for and buying a new chainsaw of similar quality is like 50 bucks so it's like get rid of it get a brand new chainsaw with the warranty for 50 bucks it's kind of worth it let's see what the most expensive chainsaw is because i bet any money any cheap it's probably one of these guys 1200 1300 2200 dollars does it take down the tree itself okay 271 is what we're looking at this one yeah 250 which is 40 cheaper if i did reviews this is like the most popular model and it's not an odd number so if you need parts it seems like there's plenty available it also takes i think a larger bar this one i think only goes up to 18 and this one can go up to 20 but it comes with an 18. these are way too small [Music] so yeah you're sinking so we came out here is actually a pretty decent sized snake that scurried away uh people do ask do i have fish in this pond or snakes in a pond i don't see any fish right now but yes whenever it's sunny out the fish really do come out and they're they're bluegills or sunnies as some people call them as well as bass so this one's gonna be a pain trying to clip this guy [Music] yeah it's probably not safe oh hope they don't have your phone on you in case you sink are we waterproof it is yikes the back of the boat is not even so i have a touch in the water oh yeah it's not it's lifted about an inch or two all right so the island is now looking a little bare it's just like a random uh i don't even know what to say this is like the first time i've ever seen my life without any sort of foliage on it or a tree it's just a random plot of land showing in the middle of the uh the pond but i guess that's that uh hopefully you guys enjoyed this video i know you've been bouncing all around we did some trash picking in the morning uh definitely a fun day finally got that done i did end up breaking ore and although i do find them quite often in the trash or at flea markets or auctions this row boat will actually need a larger order i haven't really ever come across so we'll see what happens maybe i'll order one like at walmart or something and we'll see what happens from
