Transfer Photos and Videos From iPad Air to Micro SD Card

in this video i'll show you how to transfer data so pictures videos or other files from your ipad air here to your micro sd card just like this one so there's many ways that you can do this i'll show you two ways okay so the first one is to get one of these which is a usb card reader that has a micro sd slot right over here and obviously there's no micro there's no usb type a port on the ipad air you'll need a adapter like this so it's usb type c to usb a otg adapter it's very important that is an otg on the go adapter i'll put a link in the description if you want to get one from amazon so to do that it's very easy all you have to do is to plug them together and then insert the microsd card in the adapter another way you can do it is to get one of these this is a usb type-c hub that has also a micro sd card slot over here these are more expensive than a simply adapter like this one and it's a bit overkill for this kind of job but yeah you can also use one of these for this video i'll simply use that method so i'll plug it in the ipad air on the port here you also need to make sure that the micro sd card is formatted in a format that the ipad air is able to read so i'll put this on the screen right now which formats the ipad air can actually read the first thing you need to do is to see if the ipad air recognize the s micro sd card here is by going into files and on the left side here you should see your micro sd card mine is this one gopro because i was using it on a gopro so you can tap on it and you can even see what's in different folders okay now to transfer pictures on this micro sd card all you have to do is go into your photos then once you're here if you want to select photos and videos that are on your ipad all you have to do is press the select button on the top right corner and then pick which one you would want to transfer let's say i want these once you're done you're gonna press on this small icon here on the lower left side and now you need to scroll down until you see save to files here tap on it now it will ask you where do you want to save these and you have to select your microsd card mine is gopro here just tap on it and you can even select in which specific folder you want the pictures and videos to be transferred so let's say i want them to be transferred in documents i'll just type documents if you want to create a new folder by the way just tap your micro sd card and tap this small icon here a folder with a plus and you'll be able to create a new folder name it done you're gonna see it right over here and then you can tap the save button unfortunately there's no bar showing you the status of the transfer it will just go away when it's done you can do the same thing if you have a note so i just went into my notes app here and let's say i have this drawing beautiful drawing here that i want to transfer on my micro sd card this can also be a text all you have to do is open the drawing or whatever you want to transfer then tap on these three dots right on the top right corner then you're going to tap on send a copy here and then you're going to tap on save to files and you'll be presented again with the files you're gonna select your microsd card here select which folder let's say i want to put it in the same folder as before and tap save when you're done so thanks for watching i hope this was useful please subscribe leave a like and why not even comment see you in the next one
