[Music] girl that is a crazy ass situation hi there thank you for clicking on this video my name is CeCe and today we have another ethyl cane reaction we are going to be reacting to an EP she put out a long while back I think it's like her first bigger project it's called Golden Age I'm very familiar at this point with preacher's daughter and also inbred a lot of those songs have very much molded into my everyday life and this is a lot of older stuff like I think 2019 or something like that so it's been out for a while I did make reactions to my first time listening to preacher's daughter and embr so if you haven't seen those already you should go see them sometime if you're a returning viewer welcome back and if you're new here welcome feel free to subscribe and let's get into this reaction track one is called Sunday morning and it was kind of a struggle to not sing Sunday morning wait that first part kind of sounded like American Teenager right [Music] now wait it does it does it sounded like American Teenager right there wait you know what I mean like the part of American teenager where she sing Sunday morning that's what that like tune is going on in this verse ah there it is I love when Ethel works at electric guitar and stuff like that into her songs it just sounds so good for her is this a beat oh my gosh this is a beat ooh this harmony an instrument and this [Music] B damn The Fading of instruments that intro that first track was absolutely beautiful I go into it right away she is diving into it with those harmonies and the electric guitar kicks in and then this beat kicked in that was probably like the most surprising part for me and blending those all together throughout the song and then close to the end it just boom tones down and then like a slow fade in the outro to nothing oh and the way she's saying Sunday morning it sounds like American teenager that just makes me appreciate this song plus American Teenager even more even though American Teenager was already one of my favorite songs off of preacher daughter but track two [Music] casings and this be is coming in again is this a golden age theme ooh I I'm into it absolutely beautiful oh [Music] o we're talking about a [Music] girl oh my God oh my God this me oh my God oh my God this production in her voice these lyrics too I'm getting chills I'm getting [Music] chills she is her especially the whole was like kind enough for you or was there something wrong with me oh and then her singing about like girl that this guy is going with instead listen I this song can't be completely just innocent like that knowing the meanings the ethyl can songs usually tend to have there's probably something even deeper going on I loved this one I can definitely see myself listening to casings a lot more track three is called lies and it's a collaboration with someone called Mercy necromancy eth kan's collaborations I feel like they're either a hit or a Miss I like that little instrument in the beginning there these instruments that have been going on in these songs just feel so unique to this [Music] EP oh my [Music] God ah the be always comes in so [Music] nicely either there's some voice ulation going on or this is the collab I kind of forgot it was a collab for a second so I think it's the other person it is the other person because I'm hearing these harmonies between two different people this outro girl this outro oh okay this was a good collaboration I would say this is a good collaboration Ethan and this other person's voices do go really well together it's a Vibe even though I would say the highlight of this song is the production because that like first instrument came in just honestly the production on this EP so far we're going to talk about that after we listen to all of them because I cheack forehead in the [Music] wall okay we're going to a deeper [Music] register [Music] these these crazy ass [Music] [Music] lyrics ooh okay I definitely got chills right here o okay I saw I felt that deep little Sy [Music] [Applause] [Music] thing [Music] uh well I mean with all that stuff going [Music] on holy [ __ ] okay I was just so shocked by the lyric lyrics but then again that kind of is a standard for Ethel Kane songs but it's like oh my God girl that is a crazy ass situation but there were some things to talk about with the production too close to the end there was this deep synthesizer thing that went off that just kind of added to the chills that I felt during this song and it just I don't really have that much to say about this one because I am just I need to process it I need to process it Jack five is knuckle velvet girl this title's already making me think already that first lyric nothing hurts like you [Music] do [Music] she's dying again actually I guess this is her first time dying oh what's [Music] oh oh wait what's going to happen now ooh you know why I kind of want that to have even more of like a big sound wave this was fine too o okay I have mixed feelings about this one I loved some of what was going on of course the lyrics I mean there wasn't as much gory lyrics going on in knuckle velvet as there were and head in the wall but they were still kind of going on that's not a bad thing obviously L cuz that's just you know kind of what to expect I don't know what that was the thing I do want to say is I I kind of felt like there were Parts where it was really building up with that drum beat and stuff and then when it dropped it didn't feel as big as it could have been I really feel like production wise it could have been bigger but it wasn't and it wasn't terrible but there could have been more oh this was a collaboration too but I didn't hear another voice so I don't really have anything to say about that track six the last track of this EP and also the title of this EP Golden Age oh little AC capella moment ooh okay that base is like slowly coming in [Music] oh these lyrics are kind of hurt too oh and the be came in in a nice [Music] spot excuse me I did not hear her say I'm so beautiful but it's wasted on me Hayden ethane uhuh believe me I'm letting a lot of your lyrics slide but not that one o now that was a big release of instruments knuckle velvet needs to learn from [Music] that uh-uh it's not wasted oh that instrument switch up it sounds like it's building to something [Music] oh [Applause] oh D wow honestly what a way to end an EP eth Kane has sung about a lot of things yet What Hurts the Most is her saying about her beauty is wasted on her uh-uh uhuh that one hurts I think when it comes to project as a whole the production feels very unique to this apep these songs don't sound like they could be on any of ethyl's other stuff I am very impressed with almost all of these songs almost all of them except for one knuckle velvet just didn't really it wasn't bad it just there could have been more I know one that I absolutely cannot stop thinking about is casings I don't know why that one is just that one's just stuck on my mind so I think for now I'm going to say that one's my favorite out of the six I slept on the CP wish I listened to it sooner and it's underappreciated what do you think about it what do you think about the tracks and all of that stuff and just let me know let me know all of your thoughts about this EP down in the comments below like this video And subscribe for more I have done plenty of other reactions including ethyl cane reactions which I talked about in the beginning and I have also done covers of songs that I like at least one of them is Ethel Kane I covered American Teenager I will leave playlists for these things up on my screen for you to watch if you would like to and I hope to see you in my next video [Music] bye
