hello hello everyone hi what's up it's me Hy welcome back to my channel thank you so much for being here and hanging out with me today appreciate you so much for being here so today's video is part two of the album preach's Daughter by FC if you haven't seen part one I'll link it up here in the eye or put it in the description for you to check out definitely check that out if you haven't watched it yet before watching this video going to be going through song 7 to song 13 today the first half was so good intense but good now before we get started though I did want to do a quick I guess disclaimer or warning that part one was pretty intense in the topics and themes that were being talked about and though I haven't heard the rest of the album I'm assuming those themes will still be explored throughout the rest of this album and so just a quick content warning or trigger warning that um in part one there were discussions and topics of sa and physical a as well as AOL living and things like that so that as something that is Heavy in Your Heart totally okay to skip this video and did not watch the first part um but we may get those themes in this part as well so just want to give you guys a quick I guess disclaimer and warning before we go forward so just want to say that really quickly but either way I'm super excited to listen to the rest of this album because though is intense like I said it is so so good it is so beautiful lyrics Wise and her voice is stunning as well as the production and like Melody and instruments and things all being used is so stunning so I'm really excited to here second half of this album so yeah that's what we're going to be doing today but before we get into it I did want to remind you guys to Please Subscribe if you're noten subscribed already other that you stick around and H you out with me I do lots of music and makeup videos that's what this is this is another episode of music and makeup which is where I basically sit down and listen and react and give my thoughts and commentary to New or Old music usually old music that's new to me and that's we doing today with e kan's album creatur daughter so you a thumbs up subscribe if you'd like but let's just get into it hello I wanted to pop in really quick before we start this reaction because I wanted to read this comment that I totally saw before I filmed and I totally forgot about it and I wanted to mention it really quickly because really helped me understand this album as a whole I totally forgot about it beforehand but I wanted to read it really quickly and it just says this it's a concept album referring to breacher's daughter the artist's real name is Hayden so eth Kane is the character and the album is sort of like a movie however she's an unreliable narrator so some songs trick you into thinking one narrative when actually it wasn't quite like that I'd recommend having the lyrics pulled up for this one haha but it's such an interesting listen it might not be everyone's cup of tea at first but you'll definitely appreciate the Artistry selfing and produce which is wild and her pen game is immaculate anyways can't wait I just want to mention that comment and highlight it because I think it just is a really good comment and explains a lot of this album just so interesting and it's so good and even more mind-blowing the fact that Hayden self wrote and self-produced this album her pen game is indeed Immaculate so I just want to mention that yeah okay let's get into the album now I just want to get into it song seven is called thoroughfare thorough thoroughfare okay a rotor path forming a route between two places okay this song is very long long it's at 9 minutes and 27 [Music] seconds America by 17 knew you had to see it all oh my God her voice is [Music] stunning harmonica I love harmonica is in a song you fell in love with America when you were 12 years old and by 17 you had to see it all so this person that she's talking about or talking to or telling a story about really loved to travel you loved your dad and the love he had for your mother so you had to get out and go chasing its sweet call this person saw a really loving relationship between their parents so what is chasing its sweet call like chasing the call of love so you had to go out and like go explore the World Travel and experience all different types of Love Is that what that [Music] means didn't said baby don't take you anywhere so [Music] I okay whoa whoa whoa hold on so this person that she's talking about is someone that she knows obviously and says I Met You in Texas somewhere on the thorough Fair yeah on the side of the road interesting she she telling the story of this person that she met when she was hitchhiking basically traveling herself they were both traveling I like how she starts it with the story of this person and how they grew up and then going into how she met them in the second verse really beautiful songwriting in the second verse we figure out the relationship to her the songwriter and the singer or narrator I didn't trust no one but you said baby don't run I'll take you anywhere so I hopped red in out of luck to spend had at least your truck beats walking this feels like I'm like reading a book stunning [Music] writing never me much me but I'll come with you if [Music] you oh my God this is like really cute this is actually really cute and it's kind of Western sounding kind of reminds me of the song like Western nights I could see a man who wasn't angry and he said now that I'm let you I finally know just where I'm head when she says like I started to see you differently as we made our way through as we made our way looking for your lover she says but in motel rooms I started to see you differently cuz for the first time since I was a child I could see a man who wasn't angry we know that I feel dealt with a lot of abuse in her life growing up from her father so this feels like a type of love for her which must be so peaceful to find and he says even meeting her felt like fate and felt like love too in a way but now that I met you I finally know where I'm heading you're my home basically interesting kind of with the whole theme of them being on this like almost road trip but not really seeming to have a home but like their home is each other for said do you want to see the W with [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] a but I made [Music] what what I got you might not be my love good baby [Applause] I you [Music] said oh my [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] God the only I [Music] think tambourine and Scala jam [Music] session that was that was so beautiful like I literally could have cried that was more than a song what the hell that felt like I was just transported okay what are I can't even I don't even know what the [ __ ] am I trying to say here it felt like an old western movie or something I I don't even know I don't even know what to say I can't explain it that was something out of this world it says the about SE on genius that act two of the album begins with thorough Fair Ethel having run away from home meets Charming Isaiah who offers her a ride together they drive from Texas to California over the course of the trip they find themselves attracted to one another like this a kind of Road trippy kind of song I could literally see like in a movie over like a road trip of two people falling in love like I could see it it's so cool it kind of reminds me a little bit of like that movie um is it on the road it's based off that book I think the movie has Kristen Kristen Stewart in it but let's go into the next next song which is called Gibs a [Music] [Music] [Music] girl [Music] [Music] this sound oh my God it's giving like dark and edgy so cool what she does with her voice here in the production so it seems like she's like hooking up with someone basically maybe she's like in a club with them or something something and she says obsession with money addicted to drugs says he he's in love with my body that's why he's effing it up so maybe this guy is kind of like a bad boy which we've heard about a little bit in the first half of the [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] album oh my God so interesting that she relates being intimate someone to being hurt that I think is from the abuse she GRE grew up with that is really really sad that's not what that is at all actually don't tell [Music] me [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] don't [Music] what the [ __ ] is this ending what the hell is this what is the sound I'm hearing what the [ __ ] I think this is actually the best album I've ever heard I'm so so blown away every song is it's so much more than a song it's a [ __ ] experience you feel it through the screen through the ears you feel everything it's like your senses are going crazy with the way these songs are made her voice everything wow wow wow okay we got to go into the next song I mean what the hell how do you move on from that I can't believe that was only song eight like what the [ __ ] wow next song song nine is Talia I'm not sure not how do you say that Talia Talia I think okay let's check it out God what the [ __ ] it sounds like a scarying movie ew I don't like the sound with you there I [Music] you what in the world is [Music] this even I'm still [Applause] something what in the world more thing more a thing oh my God this is so I don't like this this is creepy [Music] oh my [Applause] God I have I have no idea what's going on but I feel it so [Music] [Applause] [Music] intensely like what am I supposed to say like what the [ __ ] was that that was so good but so scary I don't think I can even begin to comprehend what the [ __ ] I just heard and what the song is about he about SE say under the influence of Isaiah's drugs oh Isaiah from before E hallucinate she confronts the darkness the song name is inspired from Alary's Divine Comedy specifically Dante's Inferno toia named after T is a circle of hell in which the traitorous reside maybe this is reference tol abandoning her family in faith only you to be met with a wrath far worse okay yeah that definitely sound like hell you do well to say yes to me oh he's not this nice guy that we thought he was before and then she yells stop stop stop so like is he abusing her oh my God bless be Daughters of Cain bound to suffering oh my God all right let's just go into the next one holy crap August [Music] underground oh this is just instrumental okay I was like where are the lyrics okay so this is kind have a nice kind of instrumental break after the craziness we experienc in the song before this it sounds beautiful the instruments sound beautiful God her voice sounds stunning and The Echoes ah so pretty oh God all the like static and [ __ ] it's so cool sounds so intense [Applause] oh my God it goes right into the next song that is so cool I don't know what the last song is about e Wast way in the Attic of made Shack in the woods of Northern California as Isaiah Reveals His truest nature she accepts her fate and faces the end this is a reference to the infinite snuff film of the same name what the [ __ ] is this s film e God that's that's what that is okay do she die at the hands of Isaiah and that's why we heard at the end of that those footsteps oh my God oh my God oh my God obviously I know this is not real she's not dead but like what the hell okay we go right into song 11 which is called televangelism which is I'm pretty sure s that like a religion or something a evangelist who conducts regularly televised religious programs a person who seeks to convert others to the Christian faith okay [Music] okay oh this is another instrumental okay this is like nicer this feels very like [Music] [Applause] [Music] free kind of starting to sound a little distorted couple keys are distorting oh then to the next one okay okay hold on I don't know how many times I've said this but wow wow what experience this album is so the song is instrumental but the about section though is unreviewed it says that Ethel's death and Ascension to Heaven is betrayed through piano and ambient noise so she does die in August underground then she goes to heaven in the next song televangelism I can see the connection between the two okay then we have Sun bleached flies where is taking [Music] us waiting for the day they escape what I give to be in church this Sunday [Music] godes it hurts the [Music] [Applause] [Music] shows watch go by from the but I don't mind that's how my Dy raised me if theyy you just him but I always knew that in the end no one was coming to save me so I just prid [Music] [Applause] it almost sounds like a like a church [Music] [Music] song it almost feels like she had to like let this part of her self die to get to this place here of of almost feeling [Music] lighter for that house inas the house out on the edge of to I can let go when something's brok it's all I know and it's all I want [Music] know [Music] wow I could see why you guys wanted me to listen to this so bad it is amazing it's like nothing I've ever heard before oh so now in heaven Ethel makes peace with her death and reflects on her life her family and the man she never stopped loving willab be all right the next song strangers [Music] okay so we have we have another like sound like someone's preaching a sermon which I feel like we kind of heard in the in the first song a little [Music] bit thinking back to I was always don't talk to strangers you might fall in love hands walking over to me now I try to be good am I no good am I no good my memory restricted to just wanted to be I in your basement I grow cold thinking back to what I was always told don't talk stranger fall in love and that's what happened she talked to a stranger she talked to Isaiah I think and she did fall in love and then that turned out to be another toxic love I tried to be good but am I no good I tried to be good I tried to look for love all these men in my life just took advantage of me I just wanted to be yours just tell me I'm yours when my motheres [Music] on up me oh my God yeah cuz she ran [Music] [Applause] [Music] away oh oh my [Music] God why you just tell you I made it I never blame you me I it you who is she making sick and what is she talking about here in this outro if I'm turning your stomach and I'm making you sick am I making you sick cannibalism and Isaiah's food poison from Ethel's body causing the feeling of her turning in his stomach and making him feel ill I didn't think that when she said your hand someone all over your mouth was like literally I thought it was like an any window or something found you just to tell you that I made it this far and I never blamed you for loving me the way you did I thought meeting her father in the afterlife good right why cuz he died so she meets him in the afterlife however this could also be eth's last words to her mother in imposs spiritual form she wants to assure her that her circumstances and death is not her fault she loved her think about it too hard you'll never see night again worry about me see you get here we'll be together in the afterlife and her mom oh wow that was um I could Lally cried that was a lot holy crap the about section says murdered and K of wise by Isaiah Ethel says her father a goodbye to her mother from Beyond the [Music] Grave wow so the first half of the album is is kind of exploring her life her earlier Parts in her life being a teenager growing up growing up in the church trying to leave the church and all that and talks a lot about like generational trauma and then we go to the second half of the album where she when she runs away and then ultimately dies and then the last couple songs are about her and her in the afterlife a story throughout the whole album okay that was absolutely incredible incredible nothing I've ever seen before from an artist just it's beyond it's just beyond good in a league of its own truly yeah and I think I'm going to end this here I think I need to go dig impr press which always happens to me after I listen to an album it's just a lot these album reactions are truly just a lot and this was like nothing ever ever ever I've ever experienced so I'm going to going subscribe if you want to and give us video a thumbs up for you go and I hope to see you guys in my next video bye [Music] hey
