Trakke Bannoch Pro! Best looking bag of 2024? Initial reaction and walkthrough.

is it possible for a backpack to be this [Music] sexy hi I'm John and welcome to unpacked and what I have with me right here just landed literally maybe an hour and a half ago this is the Track banic Pro backpack I was lucky enough to snack one on launch day which was a couple of days ago uh it sold out in about an hour so um this video is going to be more of a initial reactions this is also my very first track bag so not so much a review just initial reactions I've already pre-loaded it up with everything that I had from my last video from the dragonfly and this one is listed at 25 L but I will tell you right off the bat it seems to hold more than that I put everything that I had in my dragonfly video into this one and I still have room so dragonfly is listed at 30 this one's listed at 25 so I think this one's probably closer to a 27 28 L backpack and or the dragonfly is a little smaller uh I know the internal bucket of the dragonfly is like 25 L it was measured um but here we go let's walk through the my initial reaction to my very first track backpack the banic pro so as you can see here I chose the black color this is a very beautiful dry finished wax canvas that track is uh really known for it's sourced directly in Scotland I think they claimed it was about 80 MI from their manufacturing facility where they make the backpack and I can tell you right now the look and feel of this wax canvas again I have no experience in wax canvas besides I have a few pouches in wax canvas but this being my first wax canvas pack it is gorgeous I mean truly gorgeous I was shocked just taking it right out of the pack you have wax canvas all the way through um I mean just beautiful color so let's start right on the exterior of course like I said we have this beautiful black uh dry wax canvas also you see right up front you have these Cobra buckles that are just I mean buttery smooth right up front you do have two water bottle pockets on this particular pack and they're being held in with a little bit of elastic webbing right here to give it that spring back so when it's not in use it's going to lie flush I mean just really thoughtful stuff another cool thing about the front and these Cobra buckles is is that they sewn in they sewn them in so they won't flop over look at this they hang and they're not going to slam and scuff up your buckles so I have the G Ru M23 which is a similar but when you undo the buckles there right to the ground and it's going to scratch up your buckles these are so premium looking so beefy so nice I love that they thought about about that and not having these buckles drag on the bottom I mean just really really thoughtful right from the start again just so thoughtful to have those keeping you from scratching up your buckles you do have Side Access laptop compartment in the back you have cotton webbing throughout so one thing to note is there is no webbing on the shoulder straps here so sternum strap adjustable sternum strap is not going to be possible you could use um trackx sternum strap it connects here but there is is no adjustment at the bottom of the straps you have these beefy Cobra ladder locks I mean it goes along with the front I mean just adding to the overall premium feel and aesthetic of the pack I mean I'm just blown away overall by the quality again cotton webbing here you do have built-in metal web keep Keepers again this is all going to add weight to the pack but I believe that it adds a like a premium quality to the pack and that's just I mean it's just awesome even on your zipper pullers you can see up here on the top camera the zipper pullers Aqua guard zipper pullers with this little metal tab here to easy grab Aqua guard zippers there you also have Aqua guard on your laptop compartment here and then also Aqua guard because this backpack does have like a clamshell style access to it which we'll get into here in just a sec up top you just have a simple cotton webbing for the grab handle but it's nice and sturdy like this cotton feels really really good really really premium um just one thing to note all the materials on the X exterior and in the interior you have wax canvas you have cotton you have metal Cobra buckles everything is like sourced thoughtfully so you don't have plastic you don't have these coated materials I mean yes you do have your Aqua guard zippers but outside of that everything is naturally like Wax is going to be naturally a little bit more water resistant than something like a chemically treated fabric like some of the other packs have again cotton being chose instead of nylon for the webbing the metal buckles everything C and seat I mean just premium thoughtful laid out then on the shoulder straps the padding is not super thick but the straps are very wide so I think that's going to help with Comfort again this is just an initial reaction video I haven't really I've loaded it up for the purpose of this video but I haven't really gotten outside to really test it out and test what kind of weight it can hold I know you do have EVA foam here that's feels it feels really nice it feels like it's already broken in everything these straps feel just really really really good simple back panel two strips a breathable mesh with EVA foam on the inside now there is no luggage pass through so that's one thing to note here there is no luggage pass through just overall pure sexiness in a bag I mean I just haven't seen anything better than this could this be the sexiest bag of 2024 maybe it's already got my early vote so like I said I've already packed it out we're on unpacked so let's unpack it just a quick run through like I said I threw everything that I had in there from from my dragonfly video you can check that out down below um 32 oz water bottle fit snug it did fit but it's snug but it it it did go in there very nicely like I said you do have that webbing that's going to pull your pocket back to make it look flush I had a tripod from my other video right on this side again pretty good size pocket you can put other things in there obviously let's undo let's set this to the side all right let's go to the top camera for this we'll undo the two Cobra buckles and then we're going to reveal these beautiful yellow wax canvas interior of the bag again your buckles are nice and tight you do have a flat pocket here nothing nothing holding it down no magnets no anything like that it's going to be protected from the flat from the top you have your yellow or orangish keash here nice little length compared to the last one from Ula nice little size keish in there you do have a pleated pocket right up front now what I didn't put in there was my snacks and stuff from the other video but look at this ZIP down ZIP down and yes it is a top loader but it opens up perfectly and I have the exact same 4-day Loadout that I had from my Ula video I had my Med pouch Tech pouch cap two toiletry kit from gravel socks and underwears 4 days worth of clothes so let me put all this stuff to the side let me let you get a peak of this glorious interior look at this beautiful yellow wax canvas you have in here you have two side mesh pockets and then which I didn't even notice till right now is you have an internal pocket as well some more pocketing just a simple dump pocket nothing major behind this flat pocket you also have pocket it goes all the way down to the bottom here now they track did say that their laptop compartment on the back is suspended and then Scott some nice it's got some pretty nice padded in here so it's a pretty simple layout as you can see you just have this A4 pocket you have this pocket with some expansion and then the main compartment and two mesh pockets and this internal pocket up top in the lid which I missed you do have a quick access pocket which is something new that the original banic did not have I had loaded it up previously now in tracks walk through they said they made this pocket purposely shallow so you can't un uh overload it so they wanted just simple things in there you wallet keys sunglasses they didn't want you to load this pocket down to make this pocket Dro take away from the overall Aesthetics I appreciate that for somebody who really appreciates the way a pack looks when it's packed out I appreciated that but when I received the pack I didn't Noti it's a lot deeper than I from it's going to hold quite a bit of stuff it's not the it's about your standard access uh size pocket you can put quite a bit of stuff in there I just loaded my keys airpods passport in there but you can see just do a top camera view here and you've got it you've got room in there for stuff your cell phone Keys wallet sunglasses chapstick airpods that stuff's going to fit in there no problem so I've got no qual with that that top pocket there really really beautiful done okay so that was just a brief walkthrough of the bag um once I get to testing it a little bit more maybe I'll come back with a more in-depth review of how this is out uh going to work out for me but just right off the bat really simple one thing that I missed I'm going to go over now is some dimensions and I have them written down because like I said this pack just landed maybe an hour and a half ago so track list this bag at you got 12 in across you're going to have 20.5 in to the top and with a depth of 6.3 in so pretty standard there and the listed weight was 3.28 lbs when I weighed it it came in about 3.4 so pretty spot-on nothing major there um man this is just such a really goodlooking bag so for a quick comparison I'm going to bring up the dragonfly and you can see how a listed 30 L and the listed 25 L compare next to each other um thought it was a little bit interesting this is the dragonfly and here is the banic right next to each other you can see the banck definitely sits a little taller the dragonfly is about a/ in wider but with that gusseted pocket up front and the internal pocketing I mean I I right off the bat I think that the ban is going to hold more but your mileage might vary so what do you guys think what do you think of
