you how that works when you start it you look at that shoot a shot of oil the highway hi-fi a record player it's got a honeywell lt101 jet engine in it so when you first came to l.a you just have to sleep in this car for some time i mean i didn't have anybody to live i wanted to present you with some gifts from our friends alpine stars i'd like to thank you for enlightening me yet again appreciate your kindness well hey everybody it's your good buddy 650 eve here and i'm about to start a long journey from filthy cleveland to southern california to hook up with my good buddy jim caviezel if you're not familiar with him he's an actor that starred in a lot of movies including the passion of the christ never fear one of my favorite things he's ever done is a series called person of interest where he played john reese before there was a john wick there was a john reese when people are in trouble he comes out of nowhere sounds like a great guy and an urban legend no one knows his real name they call him john reese my good buddy jim tavis did a great job in that show but i'm gonna travel down to him i've got three of my most awesome motorcycles packed into the trailer and uh we're gonna do some amazing things including he's to let me ride his ducati superleggera v4 so i'm pretty excited about that pretty curious to see how it stacks up to my ducati penigaley v4 r so that's going to be amazing but uh he also said i might have a special surprise in store when we get there one of his good buddies i might have the opportunity to meet that person too so i'm pretty so that should be cool but uh thank goodness i've got the ram here it's pretty comfortable for such a long haul but uh enough to land let's get rolling you guys are not going to believe where i'm at and the person that i'm about to meet that i just saw that's jim caviezel right there oh no cameras okay i'm gonna have to ask him before i can film this stay tuned all right so i'm here with jim kavison okay thank you jake good to see you good to see you good to meet you jay you're awesome um this is going to be awesome you know i saw your h2 video when you got it 2015. i ended up getting one after you it's an amazing bike now see in my day we rode the bike to the place here you go my trailer you take it out and then you have lunch and you put it back in the chat yeah well let's see what we got let's open it up let me get the key where did you come in from cleveland ohio oh cleaning ohio it was like a 42-hour drive i used to play the front row here oh yeah the front row yeah [Music] three ducati motorcycles right and jim cabezo's got his ducati v4 superleggera all the way up front i'm gonna pull that sucker out that's my ducati v4 r right there which is sort of similar to the superstar and then that's my 1199r from 2013. yeah yeah so this is super easy jim because i'm using the pit bull restraint systems there's no need to actually strap these bikes down or anything jake everything is secured just with the rear axle that's a great system yeah now although all three of these bikes have carbon fiber wheels they're all different this one has uh wheels by a company called rotobox and they are a blend of forged carbon for the spokes and traditional carbon for the outside so this is like what i call sort of like lambo carbon beautiful forge what is that way yeah so those wheels weigh collectively they're four pounds lighter than the stock wheels so they're about what how how heavy a wheel i would say probably about eight we did yeah we did what yep 70 pounds yeah we weighed them and they're amazing oh this is great so now we got all three of them out be able to take a look at it so this is ducati's 2020 v4 super jera right the absolute pinnacle of their super sport lineup we weighed these bikes just yesterday at ducati newport beach jay yeah this bike weighs 401 pounds and we always wear our bikes with a full tank of fuel all the fluids 401 pounds that bike's 400 and uh that was 415 pounds right and then that one over there is 418 pounds so that's really light and you feel that yeah so this one i know that one over there has 205 horsepower we're going to dyno these on monday and i suspect that this one's going to put out probably between 205 and 210 horsepower at the wheel that one over there 195 horsepower but look that one is the l twin engine right right the 11.99 inch actually 12.99 inch in that one 105 foot pound of torque yeah that one yeah and these have about between 75 to 80 foot pounds of torque well come on i'll show you how they did it back in the day come on inside the greatest private collection i got permission cars you will ever see wow it's nice and super cool in here i'll tell you that how they did it back in 1922 wow wow every time i see it this is the ace oh it's 1300 cc wow 1300 ccj oh yeah wow oh it's fast red wolves and 132 miles an hour in one of the back of the day right he's going to show you how to stop this bike you have two breaks one on each side you stop the left side by pressing down this pedal you stop the right side by pressing down this pedal and so you then you have to throw in the hand clutch to stop i mean it's pretty uh no way it's pretty crazy but these are i'll show you i feel the engine's cold i've been running about a week but it starts right up [Music] wow notice there are no external wires everything runs through the bars wow it's uh we definitely have no brakes [Applause] you got these rubber grips but see when you're riding it and you get up to speed you slide your hand back here and it takes the pounding out of your shoulders yeah look at that so your shock absorber is in here oh my gosh people forget you know they restore they just put rubber grips in yeah that's the way it's supposed to be but it's a four-cylinder f-head 1300 cc i mean it's a wonderful bike 30 24 24 okay wow wow that's a series a vincent that's got this how many are these still left yeah not many aces this this is a great bike it's an indian yeah yeah yeah and it looks very modern compared to well not really it's a flight it is 48 but yeah big balance fenders and all that you know i'm sorry are you familiar with breath superior no you ever heard of them no sir have not for a super bike no wow it's got my attention first superbikes that one's in 1938 that's the end of the run okay come down here i'll show you the beginning okay no no jay i'm gonna get out more i know look at these bites man look at that one aprilia's ducati hayabusa there's a 1300 cc ibusa rotary you know they the um rotary engine yes munch mammoth this is gorgeous i like this tank yeah 66 other black knight black prince wow black knight black princess you write everything don't you he's kind of r9t wow beautiful see if we can figure this out five cylinder radial in the front look at that yeah wow do you know who rolly frey is no sir this guy on the vincent and the bathing suit have you ever seen that ad up there no not not him that's that's uh burt monroe that's the last indian maybe you saw that movie yeah yeah that's that's burt monroe rolly free is a guy that he went 149.9 he couldn't get to 150 so he took his clothes off and ran took off his leathers ran in the bathing suit really i know a guy that does that to this to this day here jay his name's evan he does the same thing yeah no really was quite a guy but come on then i'll show you the brush these are all vincent hello yeah the jet bike yep yeah this thing's kind of cool i had this out yesterday actually did you really yeah look at the gauges on that look at the changes to c18 allison out of a bell ranger helicopter wow i won't light it off because it'll fill the room with smoke but give you some idea what it sounds like more stock yes sir you know i'm not good enough to make it do what it can do you know i mean i mean modern bikes are so incredibly fast yes it's like crazy and i'm not gonna notice the difference really yeah that's awesome oh he's got an s1000 yeah yeah oh that's a great bike yeah this is a 2015 jay yeah i remember uh i think it was jay springsteen you know the flat track guy yes he came up the rockstar once in a like an 883 harley just a regular stock early everybody's there with their yz k14 whatever it is right and he just took him up the crib literally almost banging the handlebars on the ground in turns wow with an 80 so tall rider you know i mean to me nothing like i think funnier than a fat guy with a carbon fiber tank you know right yeah you shaved some weight but you're still a fat guy so yeah you know chuck jagger used to say about airplanes i could beat anybody with anything yeah um the um do you do you ride ducati's at all as far as yeah i've got my ducatis over here but see i ride old-school ducati okay old school this is pretty awesome [Laughter] [Music] look at that hail wood i like oranges the desmo drive yeah this is the unfit well the half fairing model and of course the mb grew still with the sand cast engine which is fabulous yeah but come here i'll show you the rustic berries okay beautiful collections beautiful yamaha 2008 r1 it's got so many things to show you but look at these murals yeah i mean he's got murals like this all over the place these are actually from uh uh our paper stuff that he's all hand-painted yeah hand-painted yeah brilliant and they all have these stories and you he did it the way they did it back in that time so you know there's some stuff that will make you howl you know show them the car with the record player it's motorcycles today okay that's all right it's a bronco you might get a kitkat i love that bronco it's a 68 kinser chassis look at the do you recognize that engine this did oj right in this no no this is the uh this is the gt500 engine yeah wow i don't like wait a minute this engine is not it's a 760 horse yeah oh my god wow gosh can i see the black on it look at that one of one one of one yeah this is the only time this engines have been made into a manual transmission this is the it's in the new gt500 shelby yeah wow there's some more bikes over there look at this thing wow that's gorgeous oh wow wow we just got this do you have the new 500 yet no will you get it no no i like that yeah this is gorgeous yeah you know my you know my you know my 34 rolls has got this engine and you know that one up there yes yeah that's the thing yeah sometimes you just but you didn't have the propeller in front of it like that yeah see you've been here for a long time these are all rough deteriorated wow look at this room the beams on the ceiling so first superior probably made famous by that guy lawrence of arabia lawrence of arabia had seven rough superiors he died on number seven he ordered number eight these were the fastest bikes of the period in england they were expensive they cost as much as a small house wow um they were 55 horsepower in the 20s which was incredible back in the day exposed valve gear still the best looking gas tank in motorcycling yes and this is what they call a petrol tube sidecar this is hollow you fill that you take this off you fill it with gasoline pump two pounds of pressure in it and when you open the valve it'll transfer the gas over to the tank that's sweet so like a reserve tank yeah like a reservoir wow i love what you've done this room is beautiful and even smells good geez this room's phenomenal but these are all these are the fastest bikes of the day but the gentlemen that had these i gotta walk around and look at some of these bikes absolutely motorcycle heaven this kind of reminds me of the barber motors motorcycle museum but it's just clean and just beautiful in here look feels like 200 on an h2 or something wow yeah i can imagine this looks like something you do today but this is all done in 2627 you know the black in between the crown yes and the cast just the shape absolutely how much would you do you have no throttle on this you have i mean you have no twist grip this predates twitch script this is your gas this is your air so as you're going down the road you do this you move your gas and adjust your air for maximum performance a lot of stuff to do yes yeah so you really can't be wearing an ipod this is your oil pump that's your oil pump right there i'll show you how that works when you start it you look at that shoot a shot of oil in there yeah and then the way you adjust these is you count the drops as you're driving you want to have about 28 drops per minute or if you're going 100 miles an hour you increase it to maybe 40 drops for a minute so absolutely incredible yeah yeah so you see imagine going on and going one two three i've never seen anything like that at all yeah this is this one was guaranteed to 110 it had the tank straps on it you got travel bags in the back beautiful bags a thousand ccs overhead valves uh yeah really uh this is what they call a bonding synth speedometer speedometers back in the day were not very accurate they were just because of the vibration yeah so a bonus and was a watchmaker and the way these work is you have two needles and you go down the road the first need to go five and hole's there the second knee goes three so you're going 53 miles an hour then both needles go like that back to zero and then six and then one oh it's 61 mile and yes just to hold the speed wow but it does look like a fine timepiece oh yeah yeah before you had cd players before you had uh eight track yeah before you had serious radio and this is factory come on in here okay the highway hi-fi a record player yeah inside of an automobile there you go the age we live in yeah kind of hard to hit repeat on that when you're going down but power was it power windows of course you got power wow can you find the gas cap all right ready let's time you okay okay yeah here we go [Music] [Laughter] right there i don't know we'll find the guest button there it is yep a button right here you break it you bought it you can afford it though jim i can't i don't know [Laughter] oh you stinger okay oh there you go wow that's slantastic that's super slick it's beautiful it's like something the godfather would have driven when you first came down here what's the car used to sleep in my 55 view really jay that one there so when you first came to l.a you just have to sleep in this car sometimes i mean i didn't have any place to live but now i bought it out of the penny save for 350 bucks and since that time we've built a new chassis for it and it's all corvette c5 the suspension 572 big block in it wow this is the very first 572 crate motor gm built it for me they put my name on the valve come over here yeah jake i see that leno oh you got it you got it right there yeah it's beautiful and it looks like there's more space in here it can accept an even bigger motor if it needed to huh this gets the job done yeah i'd imagine wow yeah these are mirrors wow um they're beautiful super low oh yeah yeah that's big d martin van love d martin his son was in the united states air force um and he was killed um training training exercises into a mountain some malfunction of some sort and like this was his car yeah yeah that's insane and then we got the mclarens over there yeah and a tesla charging up a really slow [Laughter] yeah you know what it's funny we were shooting a person of interest um jonah nolan brought his friend and i i looked over at him and i said hey i meet you before and he said no i said oh you're an actor i know i've seen anybody's going shooting i went oh man i saw you you're elon musk i saw you in 60 minutes last night yeah that's funny yeah i rest my case right right um i wanted to present you with some gifts in his bathroom here he's got pictures of a variety of presidents including some of my favorites right here on this wall i don't do politics on my channel but i was impressed with this room that he has here look at that this bush there's a whole bunch of presidents in here he's got uh lots of cool stuff he's got uh clinton and all sorts of people here al gore ronald reagan who's loved a lot in the state of california in this room here so this is great we're at jay leno's garage and you're not going to want to miss the full video he's not going to start that car yet isn't he i don't want to miss it but yeah man jay took us all around here super cool guy took me all the way back there showed me his motorcycle collection his cars he's putting air in the tire of his bentley it's wonderful no we haven't he's got a huge tractor that he rides does he really hang in here he can ride he can take out him a massive tractor [Music] see this bumper is 1899 and these are all horse-drawn and most most fire departments didn't trust trucks because they think they're reliable they always like horse drawn so they've had all their money invested in this type of equipment so walter christie invented this instead of hooking this to the team of horses you're hooking up to this front wheel drive see this has a set of planetary gears that's a 20 liter four each piston is a 327 chevy basically here i'll fire them oh please yeah this is a lot different than what my neighbor chris worship lieutenant in the fire department would drive wow that's not a led light right there by the way folks at least i don't think it is wow you know what you're like willy wonka the chocolate factory car automobile motorcycle version i mean this is like just eye candy forever how did you come upon this um i've been looking for a christy for a [Music] uh i just heard about it the fire rangers are kind of hard the people who want them can't afford them don't want them yeah [Music] not many people even remember who walter christie was anymore big front wheel drive guy uh we built that in 26 2006 for sema it's got a honeywell lt101 jet engine in it it's all carbon fiber we made our own chassis it's made to a corvette transmission and we usually have styling studio to design it so there's a lot of gm sort of cues in it yeah it's beautiful i love the carbon fiber yeah very lightweight and fast in this wow 650 700 it's a jet so it's measured a little differently but you see that yeah that's something that's the turbine right right yeah thank you sir thanks jay nice to meet you sir see what ya awesome
