a bunch of knuckle dragging honey scrounging grub oh fish munching minky nugget and your scooter welcome to the Coco couch my name's Oscar and I like watching movies while drinking cocoa on my couch and today we'll be watching Puss and Boots the last wish I've heard some pretty good things about it I'm really Keen to watch it I haven't seen it before so without further Ado let's get into it [Music] okay a dark forest was more the Dark Forest and the legend of a single wish locked away in the star oh waiting to be granted nice okay I guess that's what puss is gonna end up wanting makes sense oh they're chanting his name is hosting drink that's milk of course oh my goodness maybe it's got a bit of a uh an ego no no no okay so it's a bit of a superstar obviously ah nice who threw that that's an awesome throw of course no one says that they're unbelievably humble unless they're like got a massive ego this is interesting they're like setting him up as being like this extremely confident Fearless character I feel like he's probably gonna be faced with someone that is absolutely terrified with at some point gonna have some sort of identity problem oh this isn't his place of course it isn't cool oh no that was agonizingly slow [Music] Ed is that foreshadowing is he gonna get touched by a blade in this movie wait what whoa they're Giants in this oh not the cow I should be worried about the kid but I'm like no not the cow oh Spanish this feels like the same animation as um the spider-verse film how do they do it it's kind of like it looks very like comical dang see that's awesome dang he's got some Parkour skills that was like a legless moment when he comes off the trunk of the elephant that still only counts as one I call this one the legend will never die [Music] how's he okay after that leave your tail and relax yeah I'll do it myself thank you how do I say this oh so he did die so he lost he lost one of his like nine lives I I am not really a math guy you know come on man jinji cameo okay so jinji's in this then Shrek must be in the same universe you are dumped your last life dang my prescription no more Adventures for you you need to retire the only reason he got killed though so many times was because he was being stupid just go on adventures but be careful you are too good looking oh the heck in the flash uh this is some creepy red eyes everyone thinks you'll be the one to defeat me but no one's escaped me yet fear me damn just like that dang bro no mercy foreign oh is that blood oh he said if blades never touched him before oh and now he's fearing dude you got to get out dude just gave up his entire persona oh that guy is so creepy what an intimidating villain though that was a really good intro though building him up to be this overzealous confident uh anti-hero and then to just have this like super powerful villain immediately destroys entire Identity or within what like 15 minutes of this film wow just like that I told you Health Department people there are no cats here uh meow foreign of course oh that's the one from uh the original Puss in Boots film yeah of course it's completely dissatisfying life just doing absolutely nothing no Adventure not taking any risks it's kind of a good message though it's like life's only really worth living even if it's your last life if you know there is some sort of risk involved it has to be an adventure oh sorry a dog no hablo English that's what puss needed a very talkative chipper side character it's basically a Shrek and Donkey sort of relationship despite all the world oh here we go of course [Laughter] oh no he found him already oh wow of course it's a beer excuse me my darling scruffy geriatric bag of bones oh is he gonna take that one wish oh she's gonna want his nine miles back [Laughter] [Music] family Dynamic it's very entertaining to watch pickles not yet but I will be is he not gonna have his sword for most of the movie where's this is this like hell what are you doing here I brought you a sword oh oh he's trying to be helpful he's trying I am a highly skilled Master captive watch life experiences is the main thing that brings people together and creates strong friendships so whether he wants to be friends with them or not the longer he hangs around the more he's probably going to be a lifelong friend ill move dang it's got a phoenix shut up are those unicorn horns babe that's pretty unicorn horns oh I just realized how sad that is just like that oh kitty soft pause Kitty they're here of the Midas touch oh no Burr that was just has unconditional love towards everyone uh they have no sort of different motive this is so cool mate I would not go in there I'll probably try to climb over the top of it honestly one two after you wait what oh bye dog is he alive I feel like this poor dog's just been abused this whole life Dark Places there's gonna be some pretty trippy stuff that happens in this Forest I feel here we go okay that's pretty cute oh my goodness I want to I want to see the dog try oh dang that's so intense so it creates personal challenges for each individual mine says and drift down the river of relaxation that sounds fun yes let's do that all year round the richest I wonder who's going to end up getting a wish or whoever gets a wish what they got a wish for probably something's very selfless drop it please oh okay hey come on don't take it personally you can't share everything some things have to stay between you and yourself no you're gonna have to have some really in intelligent way of getting through these I think all you have to do is stop and smell the roses seriously ugh this is stupid all I smell is hey hey no swearing take your take your oh I love this character so full of wisdom regardless of how naive they are they try putting me in a packing crate a dumpster and they Put The Rock in it and then throw me in a river I nod a whole in the sock [Music] never found them or my Litter Mate so I guess I'm still it oh my goodness the saddest funniest so funny [Music] whoa they're just servants they're just someone is bidding I'm not a magic Locust I'm not a locust at all sit on your shoulder and judge your actions [Music] not really stressing about the Manpower if I really have my work cut out for me on I love his voice I really got my work cut out for me with this one do your job oh that's cool they can see everyone else on the map oh but it does deprive the world a good look at the face I could be convinced to I'm getting used to it wait what the beard keep it they're already like a married couple talking about whether you should keep the bed or not this is really cute they face the scene scenes hi Santa Coloma bro I want to know what happened yeah dang these fights are so epic oh come on yeah he's only got one life so I wouldn't be surprised yeah he's pretty scared at the moment my man is terrifying oh thank you burrito what's going on with you plus that was a beautiful moment I am afraid I need that wish to get my life back you're not nothing puss Kitty will never trust me again not after Santa Clum everything I've run away then too oh oh oh you left her at the altar they were that close that was nice of her though too make it seem like she wasn't listening [Laughter] I love this family why do they need a wish they seem so happy [Music] oh I wonder if the way the map works is it tries to teach you a lesson about what you really need in life before you wish something that you'll regret real none of this is yep she needed her uh destruction or whatever you used to [Music] because she wanted a mother and a father too soft just right the day A Little Orphan girl broke into our cabin and stole our hearts I love that but they just adore her instead of pushing her away the cane just oh characterization that's in this film Kitty they better get married at the end of this film you alone are the altar I didn't show up either a what to show up for that guy but you don't seem like that guy anymore oh that was the biggest hint I've ever heard in my life kind of nice though it's it's now that he's letting go of his ego and he's learning to be himself uh he's becoming a a better person or a better cat all of magic in the world no one else gets any is that so much yes agree to disagree that's some motivation for the grasshopper to try to change his mind took you so long idiot that was so sarcastic share of the wish how do you share the wish that's the problem though right he wants something very specific he wants nine lives he can't really share that wish that she can't get out of the soft spin she's leading in like every scene I mean I guess it is because puss is lost a lot of his confidence because he only has one life left oh that is just right yes let's go the physics wait stop oh no mate now they're all separated perfect situation for a horror movie we'll find a way out of here oh okay they basically at that point in their relationship where they trust each other fully again I was expecting her to be like no you're going to go and get the wish for yourself but she completely trusted him so that's saying something long time no see always a pleasure to see me proper party now that all nine of us are here yes you know what oh so it isn't just Nine Lives as in you you can like die nine times it's they're actually almost separate lives like actual lives they're different to each other is going to stay there forever now oh and she's gonna not trust him anymore because he's gonna be stuck there we could be happy without a wish what are we doing yeah exactly she actually say that you're a dark fat slow thinking no reading Lyme disease flea ridden dingleberry bear whoa well my dad backing up Goldilocks a badger knuckle dragging honey scrounging grub oh nuggets and you're snooter whoa I love that that they actually put in the beep sounds one orphan to another this dog is just so pure party to party he's gonna realize how empty it is though boots walks along yeah exactly you have no one you will always live a life of fear oh I was there all of them it's frivolous oh so he's just been following puss this entire time waiting for him to die you are nobody Hunter dang like he's actually death Nine Lives absurd and you didn't value any of them oh okay so he's just trying to take him out because he's had too many opportunities to live this villain is terrifying I'm getting cold just in any scene he's in oh that's awful that's like the the shadow you see in the corner of your room late at night oh and he's now in the most vulnerable position now to take those nine lives because he's so afraid at the moment the wolf did a really good job at planting that seed just before he got to the wish it's being very mean oh damn he's getting really fast that's so sad you didn't think I would actually stay I'm not bear bear doesn't matter if this is something that will make you happy I'll get you there conditional love of my mother right now Starbright first star I see tonight I wish I can't believe I fell for it again I don't understand explained that you've been playing me this whole no I need this wish anyone I could trust in my whole life I've never had that that I thought I finally found that someone without a wish I thought it was you but you're still running still the same old Puss in Boots dang epic showdown what he needs to do is ask for help from his friends he needs to trust that as a team they can beat this uh death bloke that was weird no [Music] no no no no no no come on but sharing it with you and kitty has made it pretty is enough yeah exactly come on mate give up the legend oh no oh I got goosebumps he's here here whoa come on boys yes mate now you have a real reason to fight lives flashing before your eyes no no just one yes fear me if you dare come on mate come on mate you've got skills you can do this dang no wonder he's called Death yes dual wield let's go now it's a fair fight unexpected move mate yes push how the tables have turned you're ruining this for me what I don't see live your life best animated villain ever the wish anymore I've got what I wished for wish for him to die maybe the wish will come in handy I wasn't expecting a a last last fight consider this my resignation Mister yes cricket at least he went out with a bang what a shot your Captain's pajamas and what about it's all gone yep I love how we just assumed he didn't even like get any evidence he was just like bus where are we headed anyways off to find new adventures to see some old friends that's the Shrek theme yes is this setting up a new Shrek film oh I'd be so down for that I want to see um another Shrek movie with Puss in Boots with this sort of Animation style that'd be awesome so that was puss and boost the Last Wish wow that was really really good I was very surprised by how much I enjoyed that um I gotta say that the villain the the um death the wolf absolutely stole the show he was so intimidating every time he was on screen I felt genuine fear for puss and I love at the end how he actually like let him go it was it wasn't part of his um moral code to to kill him um at that point because he went through all that character development but what an awesome movie there were so many awesome like good themes in there um lots of really good life lessons it was just all around a great movie be sure to like And subscribe I'm gonna do some more videos I'm hoping to see more movies I haven't seen before that have come out in the last maybe 10 years I feel like I've seen a lot of good classic movies and a lot of movies that most people have seen but I haven't actually seen a lot of the recent stuff that's come out that's been very very good
