Top 5 Travel Trailers with Bunk Beds for 2021

hey everyone i'm matt welcome back to another video today i'm super excited it's the mats rv reviews awards and today we're going over the top five travel trailer with bunk houses for 2021. will and i we searched through every travel trailer in the rv industry to come up with our list of the top five and you won't believe who got the number one spot we're starting in three two one so to start off with the bunkhouse travel trailer there's no better one to start off with than the dutchman astoria this is model 2903 bh this is very unique i love the fiberglass sides i love how lightweight this is you have your electric stabilizing jacks but the interior floor plan is what makes it special and well when you go inside you'll see how big it is remember it's only 6 700 pounds it's crazy the types of amenities and finishes that you get in here is insane look you have a nice front big windshield right there very nice is that a king-sized bed it sure looks like it absolutely and as you can see here will if you walk on through tons of ceiling height with this big barrel yeah right here we have a u-shaped dinette which i love nice theater seats and i love that it's directly across from the entertainment center and then well check out this back bunk area this is kind of like the corner bunks but it's not because they gave you this door of separation which makes it a bunk room fully ducted air conditioning unit and everything as you can see this is why this is the first one of many for the bunkhouse units well let's check out number four all right so number four on the list is the highland ridge open range 338 bhs quality wise this is the best of the best for a travel trailer this travel trailer is so incredibly heavy it is not half ton towable you need a three-quarter ton truck to tow this it's insane look at those stabilizing jacks you actually have the arm locks we have a nice big outdoor kitchen here and then look well let's take a look at the inside this is absolutely amazing inside will again there is no travel trailer that's better quality in this honestly but it's just so big look at this you have this j lounge here well i feel like i'm in a fifth wheel you have a kitchen island look at that whirlpool refrigerator right there oh it sounds like we have power i'm not oh do we have power no okay check out that rear bunk room it's very very nice big rear bunk room like matt said it's hard to see but kind of have a couch there another bunk up top and that does convert into a dinette now right behind this what really makes this travel trailer is you do have another half bath right here off of the bunk room bath and a half hopefully you can see the surface counter tops now the reason why you might be wondering why this might have fallen at number four is because it does get pretty dark in here because there's not a lot of windows just because of how much of everything's going on and then really nice king-sized bed very nice on a slide out and i think it is washer dryer prepped i know in a bunkhouse travel chill that's crazy it sure is and then the wrap it all up will look above you you have the whisper quiet air conditioning unit very nice very easy to see why this ended up as number four well let's check out number three all right so number three is the primetime tracer 31bhd i love the aerodynamic front cap that it has here and what really appeals to me is how lightweight this trailer is for a full-size bunkhouse and the price point of it when you go inside you have these nice slipper component solid steps aluminum framing you do have two doorways to the bedroom up here your sofa entertainment's already here it does come with a tv you have a huge nice u-shaped dinette well if you show this kitchen they're doing the black countertops the granite look solid surface it looks fantastic coming back here we do have a nice bathroom okay and then to finish up is this bunk room now again one there's no lights in here and it's still very very bright and you have four beds and again it's not necessarily so much about what this travel trailer is it's you take it and then you divide it by the price point that you can the stores look you got two doors there also there's a kitchen island on the inside with a big bunk room first let me show everybody this outside kitchen here which is awesome you get a full-size outside kitchen really nice show everyone let's go on the inside will okay this is really really nice it does have the arctic insulation package you're gonna get all oh my gosh look at this you have your theater seats directly across from the entertainment center up front there you have a bathroom right there nice bathroom there and bedroom up here with the door up outside yep come down here in the living room area you have your dinette look a kitchen island look at all the kitchen space you have plenty of space and then look at this you have a pantry right there with the sliding door love that feature but this is really what makes it well even with that outside kitchen even with the kitchen island even with all the slide outs we still get four bunk areas back that's awesome there's storage above their storage below there's so much storage this is a huge awesome bunkhouse unit and the quality is there as well it's easy to see what made this number two but will it's now time to see number one let's go take a look so number one is the forest river salem model 31 kq bts this is hands down one of the most popular sellers and hands down dollar for dollar one of the best values you can get out of a travel trailer starting back here let's see what's going on you have double slide outs in the rear with an actual big outside kitchen that with a sink that's plumbed through you have that grill that curves around that way and well let's check out the inside all right you have these solid steps right here electric stabilizing jacks now it is entry level because it's the wood frame with aluminum corrugated sides but i promise you you will not get a trailer this big and this nice for this price point anything other than this you have the nice versa lounge this sofa it morphs to this u-shaped dinette which is very nice you have a bathroom right there which is in okay but look this is what makes this unit so popular no lights but as you can see you have double slide outs here you have four beds in the back and a huge outside kitchen and a place for a tv and a great big wardrobe there is no doubt in my mind there was no question when we made this list that this would be number one again for the size for what you're getting and for the dollar amount dollar for dollar best-selling travel trailer on the market today with bunks well that's it that's the top five
