welcome blender heads in this video i'm going to show you guys top 5 great add-ons that come with blender and you should probably enable and start using them so first go to edit preferences and then add ons and then search for nodewrangler and enable it there are many many things you can do with nodewrangler but i'm going to show you the most basic and more popular things that i do and i've seen people doing let's add another shader glossy bsdf in this case and then instead of adding another mix shader node and connecting two shader nodes to the mix shader node just hold ctrl and shift and then right click and drag from glossy bsdf to principle bsdf in this case and it will add a mix shader node and we'll connect them to the mixed node and major time saver you can also press ctrl shift left click on any node to preview it if you press ctrl and t and then it will spawn an image texture mapping node and the texture coordinate node and this is the big one if you press ctrl shift and t the node you've selected it's going to open a browser window and if you select all the texture maps that you've downloaded it's going to add them in the correct way make sure they are properly named otherwise it might not work if you hold alt and left click and drag over any node pipeline you can cut the connection between the nodes and if you do the same but instead of alt if you hold shift it's going to create a multi-output thing the next add-in is extra object and this is technically two add-ons add curve and add mesh now i can add extra objects with shift plus a like a twisted torus rock generator and many more things the next add-in is an empty landscape so it's basically a landscape generator added you can change different values to get different results and change to different presets the next add-in is called loop tools and it's a great add-in if you do any kind of hard surface modeling in blender [Music] uh [Music] do [Music] the next add-in is scatter it's an add-on to scatter things very easily hit subscribe if you want to see the 900 scattering video using geometry nodes on youtube [Music] do do [Music] [Music] you
