Top 5 Best Selling Atomic OTF Knives!

how's it going guys this is holly with grindrix and today we were talking about the top five best-selling atomic otf knives atomic knives is a line of budget otf knives but they are heavy duty if you don't know what i mean by that this knife right here is right around nine ounces so more than half a pound so we are talking about major beaters here the they're absolutely crazily over built really rugged hefty knives now because they just do they just do otf knives a lot of this and they're all kind of this this tactical category tactical style knife there's going to be a lot of similarities between them as far as the features but they also have some really interesting variety so i'm going to show you some of the different options that you have to choose from so this first one is the atomic defender digi camo otf 40 bucks on the site nine and a half inches overall that blade is three and three quarter inches long it's a dagger style with a hollow grind and a two-tone finish we've got an alloy handle that's got you know a decent amount of texture on it and these really interesting patterns this is going to be a common motif that you're going to see on a lot of the atomic otf knives is this this particular handle style a lot of different colors and patterns on it but you know the shape and the texturing is going to be very similar along a lot of them not all of them but a lot of them do have this this one is the digi the green digi camo as i said it's about nine ounces so don't be throwing this in your pocket if you're wearing you know like gym shorts or something we've got a tip down deep carry pocket clip and the glass breaker down there on the pommel now these do tend to be a little stiff coming out of the box and you know this is a massive knife so for me personally i i often need two hands to get it closed but a lot of that stiffness will ease up as you continue to work it and use it and i handed it around in my office and everybody is able to close it except for me so you know that's just what happens when you have small hands alright next up we have the atomic defender american liberty otf this is definitely my favorite one on the table also forty dollars we've got a nine inch total length knife this is a three and a half inch blade a tonto style with again a hollow grind and a two tone finish this is an aluminum handle that is cast with this amazing like relief image statue of liberty eagle flag like it doesn't get much better than that folks one of my co-workers described it as majestic and i i don't think there's a better description for it uh this one's eight ounces so uh you know i suppose that's moving in in a better direction for me personally again a tip-down carry pocket clip this one's a little shorter and wider and then we got our glass breaker down there beautiful piece absolutely fantastic oh look at that guys i can close it with one hand nice feels pretty good too that action is great next up we have the atomic lance otf this is one of the more recent models to come out it is 65 on the site currently we've got a total length of 9.125 inches and a three and a half inch blade again a tonto style with a hollow grind and a two-tone finish this one is partially serrated again we have an aluminum handle but it's got this really soft matte black finish almost rubberized it's very very comfortable you just want to sit there and just feel it it feels so good in the hand this one is again right around 8 ounces with a tip down carry pocket clip and your glass breaker down there i really appreciate the design of this one it kind of feels like it's stepping in i don't know just a slightly more current direction this design here is one they've had around for a while and it's just nice to see something that's a little bit different and of course oh love that that smooth finish yet it doesn't feel like it would get it doesn't feel slippery i don't know how they do that it's pretty impressive so there's the atomic lance next up another kind of unique one as far as atomic knives go this is the atomic g10 otf this one's about 50 on the site right now 8.125 inches in total length and then a 3.375 inch blade this is a drop point style and this one has a flat grind with the two-tone finish again g10 handle scales which feel very nice i i do feel like these this is a little bit more slippery so there may be some issues with grip there although the ergonomics are really good on this one too and all the edges are nice and smooth so it feels very very comfortable it's 6.38 ounces so a light lightweight for atomic knives and then it does have this tip down deep carry pocket clip and no glass breaker talk about a departure guys so you know i can't help but have my eye caught by this one just because it's it's so different from a lot of the other atomic knives but i mean nothing's gonna replace this for me like come on okay lastly we have the atomic shield otf this one's forty dollars on the site and only six point eight seven five inches overall with a two and a three quarter inch blade uh another they're saying drop point it's almost like a clip point there hollow grind two-tone finish partially serrated but something to keep in mind is that no matter what the handle style is for these knives there's almost guaranteed to be that same knife with a different blade style so you just gotta look through the whole category and see what there is to find we've got an alloy handle that has a similar finish to this one that same sort of soft matte rubbery finish it's 4.39 ounces so as far as weight goes this would and size frankly you know for for my hand uh this is a fantastic size you know it's not miniature um but i mean i'm not gonna carry this guys sorry it's gotta be this one for me and we do have a tip down carry pocket clip and the obligatory glass breaker all atomic otf knives at least all the ones that i have seen come with a nylon sheath it's just very basic you know velcro belt loop right there buckle to keep it shut because i don't know who's gonna carry that in their pocket so there you have it guys these are the top five best-selling atomic otf knives you know which one is my favorite i mean this is the one that i would actually like carry for practical reasons but this is the best one on the table let's just all remember that so
