Weβve broken giants fansβ hearts in the last seconds of games so many times... I LOVE it
I love the list but I have to swap #1 and #2. The Miracle at the New Meadowlands was an awesome play and sent us to the playoffs that year, but the Philly Special is already the most iconic play in Philly sports history. Nick Foles, a backup QB, called his own number on the goal line and caught a TD pass in the Super Bowl against the greatest dynasty ever.
Like I said, I love both plays, but the Philly Special has to be #1.
What a great video. I haven't had the luck of being an Eagles (or american football) fan all my life as in my country the sport has 0 fame and this kind of videos always help to know the history and iconic moments of the franchise.
btw, how was #10 not a complete pass and a fumble?
Watching Coughlin slam his clipboard when DeSean blows by him never gets old lmao
It had to be the final play of Miracle at the New Meadowlands and The Philly Special going 1-2 (I didn't care about the order). Glad 4th and 26th and the Brady Strip sack were up near the top there too.
Can someone explain what Parcells was amped up about, regarding not being able to forward the ball on that blocked field goal?
The explanation was a little wonky there.
That was fun to watch. My one complaint is the Dawkins play (#21?) where Atlanta gained a long completion. Sure, that was a nice hit but that play was a negative for the birds.
This excludes my favorite ever play - Chris Clemons power bombing tavaris Jackson on a pic return

I can remember sitting in my car and hearing Merrill call the 4th down stop on Emmitt Smith and it was glorious. Such an iconic moment that is sometimes forgotten.
