Top 100 "Obscure" NES/Famicom Games I Think You Should Play

hey this is George coming at you with a hundred games now look 100 games is a lot of games so not all of these are gonna be the most obscure games you've ever heard of okay but here's 100 not so popular games I personally think you should play starting with adventure island for this isn't your granddad's adventure Island this time you've got to collect the items figure out where to go and defeat the evil eggplant i cinching Nicole is one of the best games on the Famicom disk system so strap on your Astro prance and check this one in alter-ego is a great little homebrew report just swap over to the shadow room and collect all those little squares [Music] wait for it wait for it anticipation guess what the drawing is before oh wait the computer already knows it [Music] our case does rain it's okay what cables you attack enemies with your grandpa only banana price [Music] I just had to include one sports game on here face Wars lets you fire some curveballs and then take your rage out on the other robots that'll kid is a neat little game that's a lot like I want to be the guy except that it's actually a good game with original assets [Music] look at the speed in these animations by o4a safe is a pretty decent unreleased in [Music] biomechanical boquete Aruba just look at this game it's a miracle already Bionic Commando the classic rappley Sweeney gagging [Music] ride your blob to victory in a bonus love trouble on blob ellonija and remember coconut equals coconut [Music] Bucky O'Hare rescue all your crew members and defeat the evil toads break-in captain Skyhawk is a shooter and it's got some depth to it you even have to dock your plane in space there's a lot of RPGs on the Famicom so I tried to choose a couple that were a little different so grab a pizza while you play chaos world because the fights are automatic the first chip & Dale Rescue Rangers game was perfection this one isn't but it's still pretty good [Music] Power Rangers I mean Georgian Santa Jetman is a platformer that also wants to be a fighting game The Clash of the demon head you get all a lot of options such as shopping from the suspicious-looking fellow in the sky Co betrayal is bout overload your racing shooting squids delivering bombs and saving people it's got it all with copra can be a regular dude or a complete abomination choice is yours conquest of the Crystal Palace is a dog and he just loves you look at him go if you forget contra forces a contra game then it's a pretty ok [Music] someone's got a police the Kosmos wacom with your boots on and cosmo police gallery [Music] crisis force can get a little flashy but it's an interesting shoot-'em-up with great music [Music] Darkwing Duck is a solid platformer what I was gonna say you're a sports guy and doki-doki you entry and you love doing backflips your guy and your dragons so fight yourself and Dragon Fire [Music] dryer is a simple over pepper it's pretty good [Music] felix the cat is another platform it's also pretty good biron ice is the sequel to solomon ski puzzle x lives right here [Music] GI Joe a real American hero and its a real nes game [Music] gargoyles quest - this is the best red gargoyle game on the system and stay [Music] gremlins to adult new batch usually moving game isn't all that good this one is great your purse you're playing you're a person your plane it's the Guardian legend gun man some stuffs get a little stale but gonna has enough power ups and strange enemies to keep it interesting Pino Tori is a game about some very angry blocks that you create to jump on everywhere first there was confusion and then with the rejected transaction country what an improvement next up is James Bond jr. this man saves the world a1 rubik's cube at a time [Music] journey to Silius the jams speak for themselves sir [Music] and if you like strategy or tactical RPGs then just free it as the Famicom game for you a military satellite has been taken over by a virus only the hair whipping kabuki quantum fighter can save the day it's your favorite singing frog Carol Carol Philippi and the second adventure is way better than the first kick master well you haven't mastered the kicks quite yet because you still have to gain some strains some magic power [Music] kid Dracula every feeling has to start somewhere and this is pretty good start [Music] King Khan - it's like The Legend of Zelda only you're a rampaging giant ape it's even a love story [Music] Cuba craze is a love story to hell every good game is a love story [Music] Brian conquest is like love child of Megaman it's already Giotto an indent in D your favorite pizza loving samurai gues legacy of the wizard explore a giant catacomb right underneath your nose Little Mermaid usually swimming sections are the worst part every video game this time they're the best [Music] Little Nemo the dream master feed your animal friends and candy and then climb right on in little sampson amazing platform low g-man's a low gravity man the game with low gravity where the gravity's low [Music] magical to token fantastic world you go around licking everything fantastic emcee kids and the kids yeah I know you're thinking the McDonald's game really you'll just have to trust me on this one [Music] Mike Eugene's abhava is a strange grid based game I think it's pretty fun metal storms neat game you can walk on the ceiling whenever you want [Music] Miki's back in making those three bullying dreams the Loon thing isn't quite as bad as it sounds miss Amiga Torah shows us how useful a third agony Molech ruin is a puzzle game where you have to save all your little moai buddies [Music] [Applause] bori crystals a cool game with some smooth animations [Music] motocross champion is fun and his answer to excite by and get this you can drive up upwards Wow [Applause] [Music] mr. gimmick is a must-play sunsoft perfection [Music] the mystery of Miroslava castle is a game y'all needs with fast reaction times for [Music] new Ghostbusters 2 is the definitive Ghostbusters game on the NES ninja John Marui is a colorful game we can charge up your run over horizon is a marvelous run with lots of options [Music] however plays a good game thank you [Music] in Radio City you get a bunch of a guy on your team who are really good at getting in your way plus it has those Tecna feeder cutscenes [Music] robo-warrior is the bomberman style of action puzzle game that everyone wanted walking cats is another average platformer you get a cool little extendo fist thing [Music] rygar until you die guy [Music] secret eyes is an unreleased prototype but it's definitely worth a play [Music] shadow of the ninja has all the traditional ninja stuff that you want in a platformer [Music] [Applause] shatterhand boy this game really packs a punch snake rattle and roll is an isometric game about kitten balls and looking feet solder Jetman has more than two levels haven't played them but hey the first two were all right Solomon's key is the prequel to the Fire and Ice Solstice is a brilliant game spelunker is a game where you die from fallen two feet startropics great grid-based movement game remember 747 you'll need it to finish this one there's three Star Wars games on the NES and this one's my favorite streamers by far the best thing that came out of action 52 [Music] streetfighter 2010 they must have suckered in a bunch of Street Fighter fans with this one but it's actually a great game superb a puncher this is the smoothest Hofer game ever you might as well play a nap because there isn't going to be a full version super turrican explains elements of target 1 and 2 and was made by a single person we all should think about [Music] sweet home is the original resident evil they did a great job with this one [Music] tightened ivory on man is another unreleased game fake play all the way through [Music] Tiny Toon Adventures is a generic platformer with different play style options that control well and respect the source material in toki you get turned into an ape who sometimes has the ability to breathe fire it seems like an improvement to me euphoria is another excellent sunsoft platformer above for travelling friends [Music] as the ultimate saw main you do it up driving cars climbing buildings solving mediocre puzzles you name it [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] vice project June as yet another underlooked top logic platform [Music] pokemon blue for the NES I mean Wacky Races one more platformer for the list wampum hey guess what another platformer is a good one to wreckin cru I just don't see many people playing this one go around with your hammer and give those doors to slamma-jamma Disick's is a game with an above average number of X's a style indeed single-handedly infiltrates the German High Command and takes out their sprinkler system young Indiana Jones chronicles [Music] Zen the intergalactic ninja is all about saving the environment and defeating the evil Lord contaminants [Music] and finally Zuma Secretary if you just can't get enough of that fast paced office life than this games for you alright thanks for watching subscribe like follow tell your friends play some games ok bye
