song from their 2019 album fear inoculum this performance was in Boston okay this video came out in March of 2020 I think it's got over 33 million views people like it yeah we don't do anything like that on numbers yeah it's a it's a Vic F video the the drumstick people uh he's one of their their guys so this is one of their videos mle angles tul Numa so that's just on the drums just a drum cam his like in the beginning when he's and then he he's hitting on the rim shot but he's louder and he's quieter yeah like how he controls the volume of everything that he's doing what do you want me say dude I mean there's not much you can you know we did the Ana video and or the Ana song and we were talking about I think I mentioned him being Zen behind a drum K yeah like his his torso doesn't move a lot of drumers like that it was but more he never looked at his left hand right while he was doing what he was doing and it was his arm wasn't moving it's just as and I know that that you work on that you work on but just not even that all the stuff he can hit and he's also like 60 years old in that video yeah but he all the stuff he he goes like all the stuff he hits because he's got all I mean it's not like he doesn't have like tons and tons of stuff I it's a it's a fairly extensive drum right but it's not you know like it's just not per but like that guy had stuff all the way around him but he's so aware of every where everything is and how I don't know his accents are so yeah good he's amazing and then he do his double and he stop you know like that's a drum song right there mhm everything was real simple otherwise yeah just catching that beat and even when he'd hit he'd hit little symbols on with the you know like with with the little stuff at the end yeah yeah how do you how you go to the next song after that yeah it's the Apex of human achievement he's got big arms you know I mean strong dude yeah but yeah I don't know I mean he just I know I know a lot of that stuff is just learning how to be a drummer you know how to how to use your hand like you know hitting things and going being able to because you're letting the drum stick kind of fall on it you're not hitting the drum but the way he does it he's able to Accent you know like you you let a drumstick fall and it goes yeah so I mean that's how you learn to do the thing you know snare drum but it's like he'll go like like he'll he makes one harder than another and then when he's not even looking at his arm over here I mean that one section like 34 of the way through the song when I shouted across the you and was like the octopus I mean can't he's just it's like a tire going so fast it doesn't look like it's moving you know yeah and I'm I you know I've never been a drummer never really even tried to be a drummer never tried it but it just looks I mean what he does just looks like the maybe a handful of people in the world could do it you know hitting like when you hit a bass drum and hit the like when you that's just got to feel so good yeah it's got to you know but he's he's over here going you know and bass drum is hitting all syncopated rhythms I mean and that rhythmically like is not a hard I mean not an easy song to even listen to to go where's the one on this yeah absolutely yeah and and he's not even he'll just go you know like so badass coming into the chorus yeah chilling at one point he did hit on the last chorus he did like yeah yeah to kind of either give them the yeah the the queue or or whatever cuz they hung on to it just a little longer space I mean it's a good song but yeah it's a drum song like that dude it l like he's put down sticks and got ready for another one I'm tired listening yeah they usually I saw them on that tour and they I want to say they played that like middle of way through the set yeah no big deal cuz they closed with I think they closed with stink Fist and I mean w you won you play a song enough and get it you know it'd be hard for me to play a guitar just along with that song just to get the rhythm of it you know yeah he's I mean what do you say his snare is so big and it didn't look like it had much of a rim like a high rim on it like but he had so much room to hit different spots of it and just his volume controls so good yeah and those other drum those little those little uh I don't what you call them the stretch the uh and that at the beginning I guess it's like a pad or something he's got where he's hitting three different sections of the same head and it's making three different tones yeah yeah I think it's like a an electronic pad they tune those they you tune your drums you know with drum key around toss the same and then but you can tune drums to certain Keys yeah which they have to do at some point I mean they playing a d a lot but so it wouldn't necessarily be hard but all the I'd be interested to know what those things were on his left side that he's just you know like he was he traveled so many different drawings in one fi mhm it's just nuts dude and he's not ever really he was kind of paying attention to his right but you don't know if he's looking at one point he grinned yeah like yeah but I mean p you know he did something I mean the song is still jamming but the other guys aren't doing a lot they're not doing anything compared to what he they're really just trying to keep I mean cuz I I can play that song on the guitar and I mean really it's just a matter of hanging on yeah just following the Rhythm yeah well I mean hanging on to the end of the measures a little yeah but uh yeah dude wow yeah I mean he was wearing an entire basketball uniform he does that for every city he goes to for the most partan but he's he's still like working he still to you know playing a game doing
