TOO MUCH SPEED... My Favorite RC Plane EVER Has Been Destroyed!

only my idea if it works this is escalated a little bit wow yeah I'm really glad you're able to get us this turbine Allen what do you think of the install that is clean it looks like it's factory really does is the Mountain Dew higher octane than the jet fuel yeah yeah it's pure Mountain Dew so then it runs a lot hotter on the Mountain Dew it might melt the turbine out of it but look at this look at the CG look at the little vertical fin back there yeah I got it last night look at this owl I mean it's it's right on it it's a little high now though but it is balanced front to back think it'll fly it will for a little while I think he's gonna fly so they'll I'd say yeah the only other issue that we have is yeah it's a lot heavier about five pounds heavier but you're gonna have to work the throttle for the turbine I have to fly because I can't hook up we can't hook up the engines the electric engines to the same throttle as the turbine because the turbine has that startup process I love the sounds of this so you'll need one job your one job one job only when are we gonna fly we're ready like now we're ready now we're ready we're as ready as we'll ever be put the batteries in it maybe secure the fuel tank so oh I got a secure the fuel tank now that I got her dialed in another zip tie you know yeah is it a couple zip ties actually probably just one I'll drill a hole wow dude this is very very nice good job I'm excited thank you it happened so fast dude or like it's about to come through I got it Allen balance definitely choked thank you golly needed it right into the V2 someone was getting in my turban dude really good about this I'm nervous I feel better about this than I did the Pontoon I mean it's a lot more horsepower for a plane that already could fly she already performs good but now a whole new level of performance I'm gonna ask before we get there can it fly upside down yeah right I don't know if it'll ever go back over though because he's got all that weight up there I mean it's the coolest thing I've ever seen in my entire life Wow real gentleman yeah I thought it looked funny but now I'd be like trimming them a real raggedy trim on there ah crosswind we've got yeah you really are gonna have something to work with the red crosswind that's okay you got a jet now I know I know uh three of them three engines do triple engine fly coming in the map this is compared to other Aviation companies first hybrid V2 hybrid it's a very good way to put it it's a hybrid so Alan early morning and late night those are the best times to fly right yeah midday right now not midday with the Wind okay and then the last battery got a lot going on in there but there's a lot of stuff that is a solid if you zip tie it all up you know you can make it look like a bat flying over that one time that was really crazy when it didn't go past me I was like oh it looks like a stingray dude that was so funny we had like 20 foot of Runway left when it took off yeah and I was wide open you were white you would think that when you reduce power it would stop nosy over but when you gave me powers when I had enough elevator to get up I noticed that but when you when you slowed down and we were back there I can see the angle of my pack on the plane was like this all that weight how hot is it huh that's not hot wow installs amazing we got it done so fast I you know that flyby it started shaking so violent so bad that was the only moment we were both wide open throttle besides of the takeoff right right if we killed the gyro it might fly a little smoother yeah we need to find where where what switch that's on she got the wire I'm not sure this is a consumer product though I don't know I don't know if we can see all this Best Buy not a trainer they like level two I think we got enough fuel for a short flight without the gyro what do you think oh you don't have any more fuel no there's just what's in it that's all we have here yeah we can let's poke a little hole in that guy it's gonna lift off a lot easier without yeah someone stab a hole right here I got a little drill bit all right let's see if we can get this gyro light out yeah because I was thinking the turbine we would have it would have just ran off the end of the runway you killed it you killed it on touchdown that was so beautiful here we go it's melted [Music] it's so awesome is that what you're buying there oh I don't know dude I cannot believe it landed smoothly on your Sledge you could have one of these shoot with the turbines [Music] foreign oxygen Mass definitely came down wow okay I think our jet is okay we don't need these yeah honestly I think the jet needs to be taken off of this B2 because this is not gonna be a long-term deal do you see it instantly start shaking yeah and Alan that was with the gyro off so it must just be a structural it was going so fast so fast for takeoff I think it's absolutely just a structural issue with it being a foam plane that you can't handle all the weights you're gone dude what where are you at oh he fell out of the plane oh there he is over there dang dude holy crap good news oh man we could just that was super easy pull that stuff out James fishing I have to leave it screening just like that it's that easy maybe we should sell that one now yeah the problem is the turbine wasn't big enough too small I knew you're gonna say that let's go I didn't have enough thrust James I need a hand launch buddy oh yeah yeah we need a full speed running launch one of your fastest launches don't even have to it's a three-step launch remember last time dude this sucker's beat right now yeah it's looking rough dude it's looking really 200 mile an hour tape like do you guys Brad towards the fence huh yeah James tail heavy you are crazy this is what I like to see okay so on this pan launch we need more a little bit more speed before she gets chat maybe you should go like in Against the Wind or something bro you gotta go into the way you had a lot of sidewind there I think that kind of assistant let's just give ourselves more space when you run and act like Taco Bell James on that side straight down the runway do it now when the wind is low oh the same thing dude [Music] literally the exact same thing [Music] okay all right third Down's a charm the first time we hit launched it was very specifically thought my B2 is indestructible well it hit mach speed there you know it's probably doing about 500 so yeah a crazy day this is pretty awesome the most awesome days at the Airfield remember Alan said should we take the computer out you know oh okay holy crap [Music] Alan couple toothpicks blue this will fly in some point and this bad girl is back that will fly in something not that bad you want to apply you really want to fix this something will power it into the air yeah absolutely all right brother but I'll I'll go ahead and throw it in your barn well guys this is the death of the B2 but it wasn't from the turbine like everyone thought it was actually mostly probably from its gyro that was just getting thrown off because we weakened the airframe so much so the gyro is trying to compensate opposite of itself I actually have a fresh B2 over at the shop so you know we'll always have a B2 around but this one she's done four for now but that's it for now thanks for watching new
