Tommy's Root Beer Stand in Barbourville Ky Home of the 50¢ Hot Dog!

hey folks it's ignited cody and this is cody and papa cody and we're in barberville kentucky and you know where we're going to go mrs cody you know where we're going we're going to go to tommy's root beer stand kentucky and we're going to see what they got because i'm hungry are you hungry yes i am you think we can download that food out that smell out meal so they can all smell yeah yeah we're going to do that thing and i'll smell the good food onion rings and and here it is tommy's root beer stand with not a place to be had folks we're gonna look around and see if we can find a place to park here we'll get back with you obviously it's a popular place oh yeah hey folks we found a place to park and we're going to order y'all make up your mind what you want hey listen do us a favor if channel with that it's all you're doing thank you [Applause] hey folks we got this big old bag of food two cheeseburgers hamburger onion rings and one of the world famous 50 cent hot dogs that's right i've not lost my mind i said a 50 cent hot dog didn't i for 11. and 28 cents we got the hot dog because why is up taking a picture of the sign for the video a young gentleman matthew his girlfriend caitlyn and a fantastically handsome son bentley they told me to get the hot dog that was fantastic is the best hot dog in town and this was the best place to eat in town it's certainly one of the most affordables yep let's look in the bag and see what we got here we go folks that's the onion rings now you was looking for the smell out for uh yeah my wife we need to get smacked kevin my wife is looking for that smell out as soon as we get it you'll be able to smell these they smell great uh now let's see where's that world famous hot dog for 50 cents i can't wait there you go oh remember folks this is a 50 cent hot dog it's got chili on it oh wow and onions and onions and mustard look at this and it's got meat on it wish kevin could smell it yeah now let that smell out thank you matthew thank you matthew that is a that looks great can't be i believe that's mine y'all we ordered that just to see what it was like but i believe we'll have to get a hb hamburg heartbreaker let's see what it looks like that's a pretty good-sized little burger yeah yeah that's a yeah a homemade hand tossed patty as i said there you go that looks good okay well now let's see mine's the best looking one of course you know so we have to put the bubbles oh okay you you you and papa cody got cheeseburgers yeah cheeseburger cheeseburger cheeseburger cheeseburger cheeseburger that's it okay mayonnaise yeah okay yeah papa cody don't like he got hit in the head one time soon and this has got fun but i won't beat the yeah she's gonna she's not gonna eat the bun she's just waiting and meeting other stuff off of it good size little piece look at open oh yeah look at that that is a great looking cheeseburger i love that honka onion on there that's great got some pepsis with them hey we're gonna we're gonna dig into these we'll come back in a minute and we'll tell you well oh plenty of napkins tell you what that is like hey folks i had to come back on here and tell you we just got the one hot dog 50 cents because we come here for burgers but we send the 50 cent hot dogs and uh the guy told us how good that was oh good lord this is a good hot dog for 50 cents this is good hot dog for two dollars this is great hot dog we'll probably end up having to order a couple more even on top of the burgers well this good eating's going to kill i was not joking about ordering two more hot dogs you see that hot dog was just to try out because we done got our burgers we came here for burgers i gotta hold that hot dog and i took it i i wouldn't give any of that up i gave my wife one bite and she said oh my goodness so i gotta have one so i gotta get one for dad too which this was a cheeseburger day for papa cody he's gonna try some of the hot dog too they're just too good they're just too good if you're driving by barbaraville for any reason come down here all you did just turn off right there at the dairy queen keep going right down here to tommy's root beer stand and get a bunch of these hot and the hamburgers too if you're not a mood for hot dog the burgers are great and the cheeseburgers are how you like yours mrs cody i loved it oh yeah i forgot the onion rings are killer they're fantastic good lord i made this this this mage all right and as usual we have to take a drive to burn the fat off that week oh yeah we're going to take a turn around the little town square down here around the courthouse it's been a while since going down here had some good eating did we all love it it's delicious mama cody's a good mood he was telling me that he had those hot dogs for we ever had on he's been down here with my mom before first time about dark matter oh look at the flags you look at the flags and this is a beautiful little town square uh we did a little walk around here uh in one of our other videos if you remember look daniel boone's a bummer beautiful yeah dangle button this is the home of the daniel boone festival oh there's daniel boone's statue you're meet daniel boone papa cody you seen anyone tell me this doesn't look like someone on television it just don't look like you he don't look right at all see right there he's saying don't look like don't look at my fists parker does he and he should well yeah been holding it now in 200 years now i guess here's our old cinema the old cinema got a restaurant feeling this pretty right here yeah down below yeah i know i don't know about that but barbaraville's got something to do with this history here oh looky here at the old cinema man i love those old sandals i'm sorry folks i just get distracted but this is a beautiful little town square and back to the beginning out of this beautiful courthouse square court square that's what this is called i got a cute little town yeah it is a cute little town nice little town this is my stuff it's okay it's okay this is a a pretty place you're up a good little wonkin town to walk in and i won't tell you folks something it's a good town to 80s here we are on the way back from the restaurant that little restaurant there is uh the oven mitt yeah that it was doing real good when we first drove through here until it's closed now but i guess it was doing really good this is friday night in barberville and you know i noticed something and there's the uh there's tommy's root beer stand i know something about here it looks like some of the young folks still cruise down here oh they've got some cruising underwater that is a forgotten that's a forgotten art isn't it yeah maybe here in barbaraville they're all out cruising down here this is amazing i've not signed this in a while don't have wi-fi uh kids are going up and down this little apparently strip of this area and around here and right here is 25 e and if you want some good eating you just come off a 25 e right here just head straight down here hey folks we hope you enjoyed eating with us had as much fun watching us eat as we had eaten and i promise you i'm still
