all right everybody welcome back my name is american x today i'm going to be taking you through a walkthrough on the jayco the 2021 jayco elante 29f um one of the big reasons why i'm going to be doing this today i'm going to give you a full walk-through there just isn't very much content online that shows you about this unit and i think it's actually pretty good for the price so from an owner now i've owned this thing for several months i've taken it on several camping trips like i said i'm going to take you through a walk-through of it and show you all the little neat things about it why i bought it all right so we'll start you from the outside here i've already got the awning out but as you come up to it um pretty much just like all of the 2021 model years for pretty much any um any brand you buy it's got the new godzilla v8 7.3 liter uh 350 horsepower 468 foot-pounds of torque so it is definitely an upgrade from the uh the v10 that used to be in these things it's a horsepower upgrade and it's a torque upgrade so coming up to the side um it does have as it has an awning led lighting power step all your lights and stuff for most of your controls are right here as you open up the door so here's your awning in and out and then your exterior lights are here so exterior number two is the led light in your awning and then exterior number one is your porch light so it does have an awning light and it does have a porch light you want it right away one of the things you'll notice with this unit is like i said in my 28 something minute long video because this unit has latch doors i mean i have not seen this option before on a unit that has this price point on it usually you see this option on something that is much more expensive so that drew my attention right away but this unit here has storage upon storage upon storage i mean it has crazy amount of storage for how small this thing is it's like it's about 31 32 feet and just everywhere you look it's got storage so i keep all my life vests and stuff like that and this cabinet here i've got a uh what is it it's an inflatable raft down there for lake trips coming into this bay here i've got my rug i've got camping chairs in here i've got tables i've got a lot of rocking chairs i mean the storage goes all the way it's got lights in there by the way the storage goes all the way across the other side i mean it is absolutely huge for the price point again more storage here i've just been keeping some garbage in here i got to clean this bay out now i've got my daughter's bike in there but i mean you can see plenty of space another light tank with water heater that's for the fridge we'll show you that in a second this is your propane and you can see it does have a quick disconnect port to hook up your grilles whatever else you want to bring your smoker um this is a 16.5 gallon propane tank or 56 pounds so i've gone on oh geez i don't know like three or four camping trips with this thing so far i have not filled it up yet and i'm still almost full now granted i am plugged in a lot but still it's a pretty good sized tank um more ride suspension there is space on this battery tray to add an additional battery so it comes with one you can have you have room to put two and the tray does come out all right let's keep going more storage this is where i keep my grill but again look how big this thing is i mean it is huge it goes all the storage here then it all the way across the top all the way to the other side i'm going to leave this side open just so you can see it from the other side and the back cover more storage here get very big i mean i can almost put my entire arm in there working my way back and there's lights there's lights in every cabinet in here coming to the other side this is where your power cable bay is you can see there's plenty of room for storage in there too as well as your cable um this is a 30 amp service by the way again here's the other side of that storage compartment i mean you can see how big this thing is i mean it is huge this is a pretty good sized box and it easily fits in everybody i gotta get rid of this box but i've got some spare parts in here uh extra stinky slinky clear adapter for my sewer wheel chocks i've got my surge protector up my surge protector and then i've got a 50 amp to 30 amp plug here in case i only have 50 amp service it's your fuel this is an unleaded rv it is a 80 gallon tank this is your dump station not a whole lot to it i mean it's very very simple this is your black tank this is your gray tank um that's really all there is to it when you want to dump this thing like i said you dump your black tank first once you've got your hose plugged into your sewer just lift this up just pull up on it like that it'll dump your black and then flush it out with your gray when you're done um nice feature about this unit when you come over into your wet bay sorry it's kind of a mess i got to clean this up i just bought new hoses to get rid of this piece of junk this thing came with um when you come over to your wet bay this thing does have a black tank flush so that's really nice but you can see this wet bay is set up pretty nice um it's pretty clean except for my garbage hose here which i'm getting ready to get rid of but pretty easy to use got out a quick connect shower in case you need to wash yourself off if you get filthy at the beach or whatever um it comes with a map here to show you which way to set all your valves no matter what type of camping you're doing for dry camping hooking up city water how to winterize how to sanitize um tank fill for filling up your water tank i mean all the directions on how to do everything's right here on the unit so you don't have to be a genius it's all right there if you don't remember so that's always nice oh again more storage and this is the bay that goes all the way to the other side on the front half of this unit and you can see like i said there's my rocking chairs my folding rocking chairs i mean these bays are huge um these bags here these are inflatable kayaks um i mean you can see they easily fit in here these things are what 12 foot in length now i mean they are rolled up and stored but still i mean i've got two big two seating kayaks inflatable kayaks in this just just one bay and they easily fit now this rv does come with a generator the cummins onan 4000 which is plenty for this unit like this is only a 30 amp unit so this 4 000 is more than enough to power everything in this rv um this generator runs off of the gas tank on this vehicle the 80 gallon gas tank so you'll really have no problems um and if you get below i believe it's an eighth of a tank or a quarter of a tank this will automatically shut off it doesn't drain all your fuel and strand you that's always nice and then one more storage compartment i've got like air pumps for my kayaks i've got some uh leveling blocks in there but again it's surprisingly bigger than it looks i mean it's deep you can fit plenty of stuff in there so before we go back to the other side i'm going to take you up on the roof real quick and show you what set this one apart from some of the other ones i looked at all right so here we are up on top of the roof here this is a full one-piece fiberglass roof not tpo fiberglass which is pretty nice um it is prepped for solar this thing's got two acs which most most new rvs these days do have two acs um bathroom has a max air fan and a skylight for the shower all right so now that we're back down in one piece let me zoom out real quick this rv does have a stinky slinky bumper so as stupid as that sounds it's actually nicer than what you think you know you take the cap off and you can store your uh waste tube in there this particular unit does come with an outdoor television um dvd player on the outside this one is not blu-ray capable but the one on the inside is but yeah you can play dvds on here tv and the tv does come out and swivel so another nice thing is it does have a 120 volt plug on the outside here so as you come in i've got the rv closed at the moment so you can get an idea what it looks like closed uh when you come in for your captain's chairs here um we'll start in the front i guess one thing that's kind of lackluster on this is the infotainment system on this i am not too thrilled with the infotainment but also at this point the price point at this thing they're all not going to be very good um you can't hook up your phone to this you can take calls with this it does have sirius xm radio i mean what they do everything comes with that now that's really all it can do i mean it doesn't do anything else but that um another feature that this infotainment center does have is um it is hooked up to the the mirror cameras so let me turn the rv on real quick when you turn your blinkers on there are mirror cameras so it does that you put in reverse reverse camera will pop up um one thing i don't like about this with the infotainment center down so low is when you're driving and you have to uh take a look in your mirror if like you're gonna to make a left turn you actually have to physically take your head off of what you're doing and look down at the screen it's too far down so that is one thing i do not like about this unit however it is easily solved you can see i hooked up another screen right there tied into the av cables for this system now i've got a screen up there that's on all the time so i don't have to be like if i'm not in reverse this will just show you that screen but on this screen here i can always see behind me i mean it was a really easy thing to do to plug that in to make it work i mean it was very simple all you do is hook up to your 12v power and put a splitter on your av system and there you go i've got the reverse camera on all the time here and then it also shows your blinkers as you're turning left and right so that's kind of cool i added that separately um it did not come with that but it's on just letting you guys know that it's something you can do and it's very easy to do um and again this thing the infotainment center does not come with navigation so if you've never driven an rv before i strongly suggest you get an rv navigation system all right i mean if you rely on google to take you to some of these campgrounds that are in the middle of nowhere you are going to regret it it's going to take you into places that are scary that your rv doesn't fit in it's going to take you into places where you'll probably rip the top of your rv off because it doesn't take the size and the height of your vehicle into account when it routes you places using google so this is a garmin rv 780 i believe these are 3.99 there are cheaper options um but this is the one i went with it's very nice um the map system's on it's decent you actually plug in your rv the length of it the height of it and it won't take you anywhere your rv can't go um there's like the list campsites in here fuel food all kinds of good stuff but this didn't come with the rv so we'll stop with that it's just an option you can add because the infotainment doesn't have navigation and then the captain's chair over here i mean there's lots of usb ports cup holder usb right there 120 volt plug in there more usb sitting in the copilot's chair here more usb another 120 volt plug computer desk i mean there's more cup holders more cup holders i mean there's there's plenty to go around up in the front here for power for cup storage computer work deck it's pretty nice um there's a couple storage bins over the top of the driver's seat and then there's a couple storage bins over the passenger seat i mean they're pretty good size i mean nothing huge but they're all right now in the back you're going to notice something on this rv that most rvs at this price point does not have it's got under countertop lighting accent lighting and it's also got lighting above the slide accent lighting i have never seen that before in a unit at this price point so that's kind of cool too um is it a big deal no but at night if you're trying to watch a movie or something it is kind of nice to kill like all the main lights just have your accent lighting on you know i mean it helps set a better mood you don't have to glare on the television so this is what this unit looks like closed up i'm going to open it up here in just a second so one of the reasons why i went with this unit is you can access everything with this unit closed so if i have to stop in a rest area or a walmart or anywhere like that to count for the night because i didn't reach where i needed to be i can access everything you have full access to the fridge the oven the stove microwave you can come in the back you can access both bunks easily cut through the bathroom here and you can get to the bed in the back so you can access this entire rv with a slide closed you don't even have to open it which is a pretty big selling point to me too because some of the rvs i looked at you couldn't do that like the bed had a fold in it where the bed was folded up like this so you really couldn't sleep on the bed unless your slide was out i mean that's pretty freaking annoying especially like i said when you're traveling all the time and you need this bed to sleep on it but you can't get your slide out so pretty cool all your controls are right here next to your fridge next to your pantry so in order to put the slide out you got to switch right here just says extend retract go ahead and extend and it's one big super slide so the whole thing will come out just hold the button down until it's all the way done and you're done all right so now that the slide is open this is what she looks like all opened up i mean it's pretty nice one super slide you're done you're good to go so let's go ahead and work our way around this baby and i'll show you some of the features that are on it so the very first thing we're going to point out is the overhead bunk i mean it is gigantic um to get it down there's a seat belt here just unlock the seat belt and then turn your key to on and then you just hit this down button and then lower it down to the top of the seats i'm going to stop right there but you just got to make sure your seats are out of the way which it looks like mine are i've got my seats all the way back but whatever i mean you can see the bunk is gigantic i mean if you had to you could fit two kids up here in a pinch um no problem i mean it is that big i'll go back up now the dinette same thing this will fold down into a bed i'm not going to do that for time's sake there really is no storage underneath this that is one of the downsides of this unit is there is no storage underneath the seats for the dinette because the hvac is ducted through it um you can see there's some of the venting in there the seat belt stuff i mean not that big of a deal because i have two dogs and a lot of these base model units have the hvac vents in the floor so i will take this any day of the week over having vents in the floor getting dog hair and crap inside your vents in the floor so two cup holders 110 power on both sides nice part about this unit i mean other than frameless windows throughout it's got a televator again something i haven't seen before on a unit at this price point and there you go when your television is up it is directly across from the couch which is another nice selling point to this unit you can sit down and you're sitting directly in front of your television when you go in the cabinets above there's your blu-ray player for this television um all your hookups are in there the cable the antenna um there's more plugs in there a bunch more plugs but everything you need right there um these just more storage i think we keep all of our movies in here just more storage working your way around to the kitchen it's got an extra lip that you can use for a work surface drawers pretty good size more storage there we keep our garbage can in there again i mean you can see this thing has got plenty of storage [Music] more storage the microwave we've used it many times now this is actually a pretty good size microwave um three burner stove with a built-in backslash once you pull it up i mean every rv has that because every rvs is pretty much the same brand of furion accent lighting on those now the oven again more storage underneath your oven that's where my wife keeps all her pots and pans so you can see there's lots and lots of room in there coming around to the other side here's our sofa this does fold out it's a tri-fold it does come out into a bed um i have a 14 year old son that slept on this on the last camping trip just wanted to see how bad it was he actually said it was more comfortable than the bunk up there which not for long cause i'm buying like a three inch pad to put up there for that bunk to make it more comfortable but he slept on it he's a big guy he's about five foot eight five foot nine for his age he said this is really comfortable to sleep on so that's good um coming back to the door again more storage lots of storage above the sofa propane fridge that also runs off electric so that's nice the unit has an inverter as well that it can run off of your electricity nothing crazy with the fridge just your standard rv fridge and it's got decent room and it is a huge no all in all it's not that bad of a thing um one of the selling points for this unit for me right here this thing has a pantry i couldn't find another unit in this price point that had a pantry um it is very big i mean it is very deep i mean i can get my whole arm in there and barely touch the back um and again it's got three levels on that side and then it's got more just as deep right there below and my we keep all of our cleaning supplies and stuff in this one so it is nice having this i mean if you without this pantry i mean it would be very difficult to pack food for a trip for a family of five plus we have two dogs which i don't keep any of the dog food in the pantry but it wouldn't be possible without a pantry i'm gonna tell you that right now that's one that's one of the main reasons why we bought this unit over the thor the 32 3 and then the coachman pursuit it did not have this um the bunks they are what they are they're pretty good size they're pretty comfortable um each bunk it came with the television they each have their own tv and if i'm not mistaken each unit has its own dvd dvd players and stuff on them so they're not tied into a main system or anything each television is separate from the others so not that big of a deal there's more storage underneath pretty good size drawers two of them all right going into the bedroom now so because we've got the pantry in the kitchen you do lose a little bit of bed size which for me and my wife it's not that big of a deal she's tiny she's like five foot two um i am six foot i'm a little bit bigger but i easily fit on this bed we easily sleep together on this bed it's not that big of a deal the downside is because we have the pantry you lose the space on this side of the bed that's what you lose by having a unit with a queen bed with a pantry rather than the rv king and no pantry so not the end of the world but i mean this thing does have a little nightstand 110 volt plug above it it's got plenty of storage above tons and tons of storage um again like i said this unit has two acs um and you can have them either come through here or go through the central ac ducts all throughout and then if you go to heat the heat ducts like i said they're not in the floor they're built into the unit itself so you don't get garbage inside of your heat ducts this unit comes with the television inside of the bedroom there is storage behind the television the drawers there is plenty of space plenty of space i mean these are good sized drawers another drawer here and then the closet now the nice part about this closet is if you do want to you can put a washer and dryer inside of this unit the stackable washer dryer the one unit that does it all it it can do that it will take a little bit of modification but it can do that again something you don't see at a unit at this price point if you're looking for something like that now i don't need it but it could do it i just wanted to show you that but it does have a clothes hanger for all your clothes and then on this wall here your light switch on and off your thermostat for controlling all of your bedroom temperatures now this side there's another nightstand here it's got a 110 plug right there on this unit here there is storage under the right there it's not huge but it's definitely better than nothing and then it's got doors they're just sliding doors like this so and they do lock and the bathroom one is just identical last but not least the bathroom so you get an angle cabinet above your toilet it's got plenty of room in there i mean it's actually bigger than it looks medicine cabinet above the sink again pretty good size it's got like a small toothpaste toothpaste toothbrush holder underneath the sink along with a pretty decent sized cabinet below here's your controls for the bathroom 110 volt plug this is for your uh on demand hot water heater and then your lighting and then your fan controls and then the shower is it huge no but again this is a 30 foot 31 foot rv i mean it's not going to be gigantic but that's about it um if you have any questions for me like i said go ahead and leave them in the comments that's really about it again this is the jayco allante 29f uh 2021 and um like i said i am the actual owner of this i'm not a dealer i'm not trying to sell this just figured i'd give you guys a walkthrough on what it was like because i mean i think this is a great unit and there is just nothing online where you can see this thing so give me a like guys i'm pretty much the first person to post a video on this thing so there it is all right guys i'm out of here have a good
