hi friends tiffany here welcome to my quilting life i have a fun video but before i get to that video please consider subscribing down that way ring that bell get notifications when i am live and our post videos as well as don't forget to give me some thumbs up and comment if you have watched this video as well as please share this with your quilty friends these are fun little videos and this one especially so this video as the description says is time lapse of a whole entire quilt top that's right so if you are not sure what time lapse is time lapse is just pretty much the sped up process but faster than my normal fast forward when i make my videos so time lapse the whole entire background stays 100 still and only me my hands the sewing machine the iron anything that i am doing or moving my with my body or my hands goes super hyper speed like it goes so fast there are a few people out there that cannot handle time lapse because of the fast motion and it hurts their eyes so for those of you i'm very sorry this is a time lapse video and i did this for entertainment purposes so um yeah i'm sorry but i like time lapse and i think these are fun videos so hopefully you think it's fun too uh where was i gonna get at um let's see so the whole process of this video actually took about 72 hours to do that's a lot of time right and let me tell you it it's spanned over the last two weeks so i've been working on this for quite some time um anyway it started with scraps there's a little bit about this project it started with scraps i had a chunk about a yard and a quarter of um 108 and i cut four five inch strips off of that and then sub cut those into five inch squares i needed 72 of them for the main part of the project and four for you'll see trust me you'll see and then i needed a 16 and a half inch strip off of that 108 which sub cut into 16 and a half inch squares and i needed six of those and then those got sub cut as well and then i needed an eight and a half inch two eight and a half inch pieces um just i cut one and then got two pieces out of it that's all i needed and i only have a smidge of fabric left that's it really there's like literally none left so that is all i really needed when it came to background fabric and remember that was 108 measurements so if you wanted regular yardage you would need three a little bit more than three yards of fabric for that um and then the next thing i needed was my tub of scraps string scraps to be exact and you will see in this video i had a lot of fun i really did have a lot of fun making this this quilt turned out 92 by 106 and a half so it is a queen size it is super large i did really really did want to add quilting to this video and time lapse as well um the whole program you know the whole entire progress of the quilt unfortunately i don't have backing fabric and then you're thinking well tiffany just said i'm back you just went shopping and bought like a bazillion yards i did just recently post a haul video i have tons of yardage but none of it really fits with this quilt and soon you will see why um i mean anything goes it is a scrap quilt but just none of it reads backing fabric for this quilt so i'm going to postpone the quilting of this and save it for a teaching experience video so um without further ado i really hope you enjoy this video that you are about to watch in time lapse and don't forget to give me some love and i will see you guys later so enjoy bye [Music] can [Music] oh up [Music] up [Music] up [Music] up [Music] oh [Music] oh [Music] oh [Music] so [Music] oh [Music] wow [Music] [Music] [Music] oh [Music] [Applause] [Music] so [Music] [Music] thank you [Music] [Music] okay [Music] up [Music] up [Music] up [Music] oh [Music] oh [Music] oh [Music] oh [Music] [Music] wow [Music] so [Music] uh [Music] oh [Music] so [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] up [Music] up [Music] up [Music] up [Music] oh [Music] wow [Music] oh [Music] [Music] wow [Music] wow [Music] oh [Music] [Music] oh [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] me [Music] [Music] thank you [Music] so [Music] [Music] oh [Music] up [Music] up [Music] up [Music] oh [Music] oh [Music] oh [Music] oh [Music] [Music] hello [Music] oh [Music] [Music] oh [Music] so [Music] so [Music] so [Music] [Music] okay [Music] oh [Music] power [Music] oh [Music] wow [Music] oh [Music] public you
