the ideal mushroom when pressure is applied to the white porous surface it bruises Brown and once the mushroom dries your drawing is permanent it grows throughout the United States and can be found growing on the side of fallen hardwood trees like oak and beech you're also more likely to find it growing near streams because it appreciates moisture these mushrooms unlike most are perennial which means that they stick around year after year and continue growing bigger some of them grow up to 3 feet across and now that's a big canvas sorry about the kind of janky mushroom drawing but if you save the tree even though you can't because obviously you're just looking outside of your window looking at the tree and there's nothing to do you can save it because all the branches are already on the street and cut off so then you call your local councils crying saying they're cutting off the branches off the tree you have to stop this and even though it's too late like people can't do this and he says where's the tree located and then I said it was on the pavement and he said don't worry ma'am this is just something called tree surgery it makes them grow back stronger and healthier and I said you are aware that trees need all of their leaves in order to eat it's called photosynthesis and he says don't worry just look up what tree surgery is it's totally fine this is fine it's gonna make the tree go back stronger then you look up what tree surgery is and there's a thing called parting where they cut off all the branches and even though it looks horrible and the trees look bald like you just shaved them it does make them grow back stronger so then you just name the tree Paulie and every day you look at it's growing its little leaves and you're happy you're supposed to stay
