do you understand the context as to why the Indian government decided to ban Tik Tok as a platform because Tik Tok does store data at least for India it was not believed to be localized so even the regional information through their servers and their IP addresses was believed to be tracked even without permission so because of that it was considered as an infringement of the people's rights and also like they threat to National Security but Tik Tok wasn't the only app that got banned there were several others like 50 56 Chinese apps like Alibaba Shen AliExpress cam scanner so many other apps got banned simply because of national security reasons I remember reading a news where the iOS 14 was able to detect that Tik Tok can access the information even on your clipboards and people usually use the clipboards on their phone for saving some link or their passwords or key information that they might tend to forget
