Tier List of The Worst Pandemic Advertisements

so I don't know about you guys but the amount of time I sit here watching various streaming platforms now compared to before someone decided to eat a bat in Wuhan is through the roof and with more time spit in front of the TV that's more time spent watching advertisements and one thing I've noticed is all the advertisements lately uh pretty much they're following the same narrative it's pretty much about the same advertisement but just insert different brands because every brand their grandmother currently running tear-jerking ad so you have to sit at home and cry between the ad brakes of Saturday Night Live at home so in today's video let's talk about and rate brands and their advertisements they're currently running these ads right now if all these massive brands ran a classroom together it would all be in a circle and every single one of them would be looking at the homework to the person to the right of them that's what we're currently doing because as of right now we just have a constant mess of insert brand name we're here for you when your grandmother's in dire need of a ventilator insert random brand name that has nothing to do with that don't worry said brand is there for you which in reality just means don't worry we've found a way for you to still pay us even though you're trapped in your shoebox apartment that's like advertising in 2020 right now so today we're taking a look at about a dozen different brands and we're just gonna rate them from s to D he goes S equals five points and D equals one points so I'm rating them on a very simplified girl scale today because I i thought i had my trusty whiteboard but it wasn't actually my whiteboard it was my calendar so I'm sorry I left the Earl scale at my office but we'll make do with a one to five tier system today it looks like JP Morgan's gonna be the first brand that we're taking a look at today why does this start with us and not a I don't know that's a good question asked that whoever started making these tear lists but as has always been the tops here I think it's for superb super we're gonna be like okay after watching the ad from one to five how likely is it for you to actually go purchase or use a service from that brand after seeing yet and then can we also have like how moving is it like are you affected emotionally or are you like about it okay that can be the the if you're torn between two tears yeah that's true I can be the upgrade or downgrade JPMorgan advisors are here for you no way times look after yourself but no one it comes to your finances we are here for you what can I do for you today take a look at the portfolio they are here for you if you have any more question and we will get through this one together together we're just probably gonna watch like 12 really sad advertisements I mean hey we're here we're here for you is gonna be the main keyword we're here for you and together or let's do this together we're in this together is those are words for in advertising yeah also my rate of this is I don't care they can keep it I don't trust banks sure okay JP Morgan on DT R so far next up who do we have we may be apart right now but we won't let distance you can't stop us living together stay apart stay together [Applause] we'll get through this together Samsung cute advertisement it really doesn't make me really want to buy a Samsung product though well that's a hard and that's a hard thing to do Samsung just kidding Samsung I actually really like the commercial I like the music I like any song that has a home like that it made me feel comforted and made me feel part of a family yeah doesn't make me want to buy a product from them though no but I just uh it's a brand awareness thing that's true we're aware of you say I'm sung as a decent I don't know I maybe it knows already that's a see since average sigh Apple mmm we'll get through this together oh hey it's that YouTube guy oh hey you got me that book for my birthday yeah I don't mean to pause the the Hartfield Apple advertisement now you just thought of it was my birthday the other day so my friends decided to give me wow I love this I turned 23 years old and I got a pillow of Lord Farquaad my royal twin thank you guys thank you for that my birthday it was April 21st by the way so I always celebrate 420 and my birthday in the same day it's one whole perfect weekend when it's on a weekend when it's on a week boy if it's not on a weekend I'll make it a weekend and then the day after we celebrate having Gary we got Gary the day after my birthday look at that three days in a row where it's just perfect yeah chat up Kevin for the Lord Farquaad it's a comfortable pillow yeah very very comfortable I hope I don't get more of them yes very cute advertisement but I'm not quite sure if it really makes me want to buy more Apple products creativity goes on Thank You Apple I like the part I like the creativity goes on part one thing I noticed with a lot of these though there's a lot of babies and a lot of cute kids bold of these brands to assume that everyone has a cute adorable kid in their life here I mean every adorable kid is facetiming a grandparent and all of these and we're like oh that's so cute I don't know I feel like it's meant for people to be like ah my cry made me think of my French are guilty of crying to this advertisement like 25 different times this room like 25 separate times and just see you like in full tears this advertisement yes you can't really talk too much smack about it right now but full disclosure I have cried to all of these ads well could you rate this advertisement on a one through 1 through 5 scale Hannah I would say maybe a spirit II um a B or C I thought it was pretty good I like how they have the girl reading the book and she's reading it to someone online I don't I'll give him a B because I would say it's a it's a step better than Samsung's ad but it's basically the same thing yeah true they are copies of each other yeah also guys comment in the comments down below I want to see what you guys rate each advertisement just do advertisement one through I think there's 14 different ads we're gonna be viewing so just do 1 through 14 and then for each number you give your grade at what number of the ad that was at if that makes sense they're just actually going up so if the next advertisements in a that would soothe my OCD low the Facebook oh boy [Music] gentle music really that's a shocker by working every dread day that is giving us feeling like Russell walked into you crying on this ad as well I've seen it briefly on TV well and it was crying to it well yes and we smile all it is very cute I know it is taking a lot of me to not cry there is something wonderful human emotion really brings people together are we crying I'm not crying I'm not crying I am have something goodbye I do you it's oh geez man Zuckerberg why you God do me like that he didn't do his dirty like the vinkle boss twins but I mean like I do have some tears my hands after watching that ah let me uh wipe my tears I mean like I would rate it like the same as the Apple commercial yeah I'd say air bee bee I would say next advertisement all right Google is it going to be the same advertisement that we just watched like five different times we do know that they're good at this though cuz remember that Super Bowl Google commercial where it's like I think it was a Google commercial of the old man's thing hey Google myopia that was really cute that would make me cry on multiple different occasions so more than ever before the world is searching how to help kind of help the elderly all this is another tear-jerking cute advertisement certainly Oh brothers help there's hope that's very cute that was an ace here to me oh it makes the most sense gue like people are searching things or people are in their homes searching how I'm just gonna give it a nest here oh sorry is just um Google hit me up with some of those ads on that on the YouTube video giving you an S to your hero just hit me up with some of those premium ads I think it was the one that makes the most sense yeah it was it was a good advertisement maybe not worth and asked you it's an ester though it is maybe not worth and ask you but I'm given a nest year you're fright here fronting I know your front here now that one is the one that makes the mats please it's the one that makes the most sense but also is the ribs please sorry I was just trying to talk to Google about giving me reserved ads died how do you pronounce hai and die okay I found this on the web Hyundai Hyundai nothing is more important than family especially in uncertain times when you buy or lease a new hyundai between now and April 30th we'll cover your payments for up to six months in the event you lose your job this year dude it wasn't too bad because they're actually offering something to people who are selling struggling but it's still like oh hey I know your financial situation might be completely wrecked for the next year but you can still buy a car from Honda that's the car business though baby it's like hey guys I know the last thing you guys should be doing right now is buying a brand new car but don't worry you don't have to pay your payment for six months if you buy a brand new car now because as long as you don't have to worry about your problem now and you can worry about your problems six months later you're gonna be good for six months I'm putting Han day on a seat but also if I needed a car right now by some chance you go to Craigslist you sort for after cheap and then you buy a very cheap beater car used for about a grand and you save a whole lot of money and the last thing you need to be doing is buying a brand new car definitely if your financial system or financial situation is a little bit tight or restricted because a new car is pretty much the biggest ripoff in any financial system right now I mean it depreciates by at least fifty percent within the net first three years most cars ain't even Dave Ramsey this is just normal logic why would you want to purchase something that loses half of its value within three years hi I see a lot of young people doing a lot of stupid stuff with money including myself so instead of yelling at myself I just sit here on the sofa and yell at other people to make myself feel better about myself welcome to 20/20 baby buying a beter car off of Craigslist is also risking getting murdered probably not I mean like very risk being murdered by someone on Craigslist than getting murdered by credit card companies you heard it here first folks Wells Fargo stepping up right now our communities need help like never before by dud I'm sorry oz connecting people at businesses for 150 years HSBC together we thrive thank you thank you HSBC that was kind of exactly what all the other banking commercials were so again dt r i want to know where is this together in the real world where i go to the grocery store an older woman will always try and fight me for the last whatever is there always someone trying to fight me or like it's very scary i don't see this together like no one is that's not happening anywhere other than commercial next advertisement strength dodge yeah this one's gonna be good good in american mmm this is muscle [Music] and this is strength together we are Brotherhood of muscle so what I said yeah if you look at the muscle behind us I see it wasn't the same thing as all the other advertisements so I got to give it to Dodge for not just copy pasting everything else well they know who their audience is their audience isn't a bunch of weenies that cry at every single commercial like I am their audience is big tough angry men who wear wife beaters well I mean like yeah hearing the supercharger whine going through there do love me some good supercharger whine so we don't have anything in the eights here so I I guess I'll just put that in the eights here because it wasn't really clickbait it wasn't misleading I didn't copy paste everything else so hey shout out Dodge for making an original ad last advertisement is Citibank let me guess we're here for you we'll get through this together yay Oh [Music] I'm sorry I have to put you guys on a deeds here when I could call what you guys were
