atmosphere is broken by barking dogs as the Riders storm the camp firing their guns and creating chaos they demolish homes and attack the miners who are barely able to defend themselves amidst the turmoil a girl named Megan loses her dog Lindsay to the attacker's gunfire after the horsemen depart the survivors assess the devastation Left Behind Megan mourning her dog is comforted by her mother
