At this point they should really give him a new creepier splash art. People might actually like him...
Disagreements with the idea of making Thresh human aside, this is a really interesting place for his character to go lore wise. The idea of him travelling around runeterra turning people into ghosts to do his bidding is fun as hell.
in 4 minutes they made a better story than the full ruination event.
If he looked older in the game I think more people would welcome the change.
Really great cinematic, I also like the subtle implication the human form is not his true form but a disguise because you can see thresh's original form with his shadow
Unnecessary thresh look change aside. This was one of the best cinematics by far. Reminded me of the master of mirrors from the Witcher 3. And now that I think of it, that would be a great champion concept. A bald regular looking guy, who is a Devil’s acting like character
Even if I don't really like the "human" Thresh I really loved this cinematic, his voice actor is amazing and his first appearance when Bort was serving him, he looked fantastic.
The "Do you now?" line and finally his iconic "There is life, there is death and then there is me", I really loved them!
So the reason he wanted to be more human-like was because that way he could go around runeterra being a huge asshole to everyone instead of just the shadow isles undead?
I might not like his new look but if this is the reason, i can get behind this new form
