This tow was Mac N Cheesy!

good morning we are going food Trucking today with the Zack lift just got back home from vacation last night and uh got the Zack lift hooked back up to the Western Star here I had it off because I was pulling the low bed and flatbed and back and forth and stuff but we threw it back on very simple process back back under it hook up your connections good to go so now we're going to head into town back to some of you will remember a uh exactly one year ago to the day I towed a a food truck mac and cheese food truck uh to a brewery that has a food truck Court tring of Park set up and it's onee lease for it space that the brewery is up so it's time for it to get towed home and that's what we're going to go do today uh in this area there's a lot of like these food truck parks and a lot of are like a one-year lease type of thing and then uh then they move on to the next spot or home or whatever but a lot of the food trucks because they go and sit in one place for a year a lot of them don't run or they just use trailers and then when it's time to move from place to place they tow them and that's what we're going to do so you guys have seen this truck before some of you some of you have not but you will all right we're just getting into town and as you also probably noticed uh that I'm filming this with a 360 camera you can tell that because you know it's a 360 camera where you can see all the way around and the Wild part about it is that you can actually hear me that that's the massive drawback with 360 well the instant 360 cameras only ones I have but like instant 360 when it comes to audio do better your audio off the camera there terrible like unusable it sucks so I found a little trick cuz what I would do sometimes when I'd use 360 camera but actually wanted you know like someone to hear me cuz I don't do all the music and all that crap in there is I would use the DJI mic like right here and I would just internally record it on the DJI mic and then I would try to sync it up to the video later and then it makes editing take way longer and I just don't want to do that so I don't film with the 360 camera that much other than like you know the cool out the window 360 shots but a little trick I found is insta 360 cameras have Bluetooth in order to hook up uh airpods but the sound from the airpods the camera also sucks so that's pointless then I was realizing that the DJI Mike 2 has Bluetooth that makes it sync up with it's back there I'm not going to reach for it um the DJI cameras through Bluetooth so I went on the insta 360 camera opened up Bluetooth and hit search for airpods without my airpods on and then turned on the DJI mic 2 and hit the linking button to you know do a Bluetooth Link and it linked up it thinks that this microphone this DJI mic microphone is airpods that's what it's shows on the camera as it's hooked to airpods but it's really hooked to that microphone giving me wireless audio off the DJI mics which is really good directly to the camera with no audio adapter and all the stupid cords and clips and things and all that off the side of it like you would normally have to have that's a big game changer there because that's another reason I wouldn't use the audio directly to the camera is because it made the camera this funky weird thing with wires hanging off it you got to try not to get in the shot and all this stuff and it was just it was dumb so I didn't do it but I found this little trick of the camera doesn't know what Bluetooth is hooking to it all it knows is Bluetooth so microphone bluetooth camera Bluetooth meet each other we have audio now and we got it back in around the building uh to get to the front of this thing in the way we need to pull it back out and then we got to snake it back out around the building again uh when I brought it in here I brought it in a completely different way this is way tighter than I remember oopsie Daisy [Applause] yeah [Applause] [Applause] go yeah all right we got to winch this thing out of here and I forgot all of my snatch blocks at home because when I was pulling low bed and the flatbed I keep the snatch blocks in that box down there and I pulled them all out cuz I had to load it with lots of chains and binders and then uh when I put this back on last night I didn't put those back in there so I would like to ideally go from the cable to the corner of the Outrigger over here and across the pole down low and around but that ain't going to be an option today it'll still work we're going to free spol put the boom out and low I'm going to put the boom out to be a better more forward angle off the front of that thing and then we will take our yellow out cuz it's on that side and just let our blue stay hooked up did I time it right nope close enough really close enough okay we need we're going to use [Music] this I forgot this had this on the front up here we'll use [Applause] that that's why why didn't we use that last time it's cuz we had to pull it backwards yeah that's why I have down here in the bottom cuz it never gets used this [Applause] me put a shackle on there so it doesn't twist that hook around just a little guy uh it's actually a big hook so we'll use a bigger guy they're fine we'll make that yeah the hook would go in but it wouldn't pivot around to the side so it be twisting on the hook I mean it would hold this tiny little bit of force for putting on it but look at now we can turn oh I should unfree spool that all right is everything disconnected and yeah good to go yep all right and it is so it's in park right now parking Brak set all right you want to hop in put it uh Park doesn't matter cuz the drive line still disconnected from last time right so take the parking brake off and turn all the way this way once I get some tension on you here see this is why I put that rounded Edge on this sheath head is cuz until it pulls tension it pulls on the edge then it spins it straight okay go ahead and turn towards me as it we yep perfect and just keep it turned all the way that way oh okay go ahead hit the brake there okay we're free- spoed I'm going to pull forward and pull you around so we're going to go forward try to get to get right in this this area right here and then hook up to [Music] it I'm really glad you have that little hitch receiver on the front yeah I think it'll make [Applause] it yeah it will be good and then since we're using the yellow line I can retract the Boom without having any effect on the winch pool because they're being run from two completely different hydraulic pumps just got to make sure since synthetic rope doesn't have the weight to just hang down that we don't let it pinch up in there see the winch is still pulling on that side and the boom's retracting granted it would do it off the other one but it would have an effect on the winch pole because they'd be sharing the hydraulic fluid to do that okay turn back this way hold it right there okay straighten up now actually a little bit that way still sorry straight and hit the brakes perfect you can go ahead and put it in par or set the parking brake since there is no Park nice should hook up to it right there okay because on this one we do have to pick up the back end come here where are you and put on the blocks and it doesn't have a park because I pulled the drive line out of it last time and left it out we're going to CH a wheels that way we're not relying solely on the parking brake [Music] [Music] [Music] what get our blocks out [Music] this under the tire I'll get it yeah so you say this was the engine or the transmission this thing needs engine yeah is it the V10 uh no it's got the 73 oh it's a diesel yeah oh okay what was wrong with it um all S I can't even get start now but I know the uh my rear main steel has a major leak there's I think four or five injectors that need to be replaced I think there are a couple other things that was all 3 years ago when it was running yeah so now there's probably some more leaks from sitting but I actually I bought a new uh food cart trailer that I'm going to use now so I can actually be mobile so you don't have to call me anymore yeah so you're getting rid of this yeah I'm going to hopefully sell it if anyone's looking for a bus those are too narrow I haven't seen many of these with the 7.3 in them they're mostly all the v10s right there we go perfect now if I remember right was this better to strap down or chain down I don't remember we'll try straps first I need to reorganize all these boxes they've gotten kind of clustered up where's your trailer going too uh it's just going to be mobile doing like events you're not going to be staged up like here right so is this one year at leas here [Music] yeah is that usually the typical for how long they I think most of I think s them do month by month but I think most now switch to one year that kind of makes sense cuz a lot of people will go somewhere because of they like that one you know so if it's there sometimes and they're not then that kind of throws people [Music] off [Applause] okay done with the blocks so want to take the parking brake off now now that I've got it okay and with these now that recovery season is mostly over and it's Towing season I got to kind of re that my slings on top and the towing stuff on the bottom cuz that's what I was using more don't have to do the drive line I to do that I think this one's done I just make sure I actually tied that up last time what did I do yep cool all tied up still yeah if anyone's looking for a bus that's set up as a food truck or a bus to make a bus bus or like a RV bus it's for sale okay we're done with [Music] that we are going to need this there it is there's another thing I remembered how did I do this it's like I know I did all this before but I can't remember what I did I think I hooked those yeah and then I did something with these gu I did there okay safety chains we'll be
