This thrift trip was unexpected!

hey guys it's m okay this is what's going on this weekend so recently for the last few weeks I've being a little bit flat been low on energy I've been a bit down in the dumps Toms recognized it and so what he's done this weekend is he's booked me a weekend away he's booked restaurants he's booked activities he's booked an agenda with a couple of proof shops on the way and yeah he's um he's recognized that I need a little bit of a a break or maybe some fun time and he's taking me away he's a good man okay so I'm going to Vlog my trip that I don't know what's happening and I'll show you what I do okay we've been to this store quite a few times before we quite often get some good inventory here Tom's already down here what's he get you handsome fill a bag of books 15 bucks really yeah look well the bags are only little but look yeah they're only little I might as well get a bag so I filled two bags filled them up as right to the top as many books as I could squeeze in there actually got quite a good good assortment of books so not sure where they're going to go are we going to lunch now Straight From Here Yeah 5 minutes baby 5 minutes okay right near the restaurant for lunch here a Vinnie's it's a cute dress now straight away I can see a patent shirt that's jumping out of me I have to have a look bolo preg this is a cool little booknook Tom loves this place this Cafe they used to have another one in another state and it closed [Music] [Music] it's like what a hobbit it feels like it's like a hobbit house it's like a little fairy house it's incredible oh like a what like a fairy house fairy house yeah something from like you'd expect like in a Harry Potter movie or magazine Harry Potter r or something okay I got some freshly squeezed apple juice and a coffee oh Tom's pouring me a water now I'm going to be in the bathroom Tom's got it's called cloudy Apple cloudy hot apple so good so good what's this banana and strawberry smoothie yeah I'm sure that's as well tick of approval okay so I got a lamb a lamb egg burger Tom's got a salad here with a chili Conan and what's that like a something is it chili really chilly there's a pickle lunch was AB absolutely delicious but now we're off to the Salos very clean [Music] store we got some nice we got some pretty good stuff in that V so where we are now we're in katumba New South wers and the they' got a lot of different I mean the fact that I walked into a store and found a mambo loud church I mean it was too expensive but um they've got different inventory here much more yeah it's just it's and it's not overpriced like yeah anyway except for the Mambo shirt that was overpriced but everything else seems to be really quite reasonably priced like we got a church sale hello Hi how are you [Music] did you see the well it's beautiful yeah it's a full or yeah there's one in um I come from CRA okay there's a a venue where they do a lot of weddings and stuff and they've got a full like it's it's probably the whole it would be like the whole width of this yeah it's beautiful well that one's very loud for the size of it yeah yeah the the one in the other room is you actually can walk up into it and get your photo taken like it's huge yeah yeah it's beautiful thank Youk okay we are at the sweet charity up shop oh Hampton Style it's literally like my dream to have a dream house that is all done as like a Hampton Style I love it okay nothing in the other store but let's check out this one oh not creepy at all check out that hairline just spotted another op shop so we've pulled over I could see they had lots of books inside so let's see oh yes Aqua pumps beautiful this guy is one of the best photographers and I bought my brother one of his paintings and it um cost hundreds and hundreds of dollars 20 bucks beautiful I'm going to get that an update this book sold very quickly after I listed it I listed it for $129 and took an offer for 110 want this one I want this one I can spot this on yes I can't see a price on that I reckon that's a go it's very heavy the lady sold me those two books for $25 in total and I also sold the naturopathic book very quickly after I listed it for $88 you want to see the Aussie fire truck there it is I [Music] this is the type of op shop that makes me want to be an everything seller s excellent enjoy your thank you you need credit swimmers a this is cozy Tom's Tom's jumped in in his clothes that he was wearing I'm definitely not jumping in that's way too cold come on let's see you do laps we all want to see you swim what's go freestyle or breast strike what are we doing doy padle oh my God is this for real is this for real come on I want to see freestyle let's see the laps let's go oh I don't think swimming is your strong point let's see the let's see the breast stroke you want to do you want to see the dolphin the dolphin please oh babe I mean you should stick to stick to thrifting you haven't been in a pool in 10 years did you just say what does it feel good I've been trying to get Tom to buy a um outdoor Spa cuz I really want an outdoor Spa I'm like can you buy an outdoor Spa so we can sit in it and just relax wouldn't that be nice after a long hard day of doing eBay just going back home to the verander out the back with wig to a [Music] spa I just I just to if I'm going to love some I just want to love you if I'm going to love I just want to love you don't made me jumping in my clothes good morning good morning Okay so we've just stopped past this house so this is the house that my granny grew up in so my great grandparents owned this house and my granny lived here and yeah so my family's come from katumba this is the house it looks like they're in the middle of renovating it so little bit of family history to look at Thomas just B us to our activity of the day which I didn't know what it was and we've pulled up he's about to take me on a a sky Rail and he said we've got going on this roller coaster I'm not I don't really do roller coasters it's not a roller coaster it's a try you'll be you'll love it looks like a roller coaster it's definitely not you love what and Tom's scared of heights it's true and and and this is this looks really high yes it is it's a cable way a sky away I'm excited but I'm a bit scared oh my God look at this that's the three sisters is that where we're going in I think so yeah and this is called the three sisters it's a famous landmark here in Australia in this area katumba New South Wales come we're going on a sky rail what you don't even like heights we're going to die it's something I don't like I'm terrified terrified very skilled oh my goodness okay look at the big cables through the window that pulled the sky rail you think that's a three Three Sisters yeah that's the three sisters no oh my goodness oh they're doing the sample run oh my goodness that's massive just left the safety ladders in the ceiling safety ladders oh just in case something goes wrong we planted water it's called mmai but the traditional custodians they people they're around 300 years old 300 million years olded around 14 million years ago we survived it wasn't that scary now we're going to do the 10minute walk that takes us to the katumba waterfalls you know that when you come outside into nature and there's a waterfall and you can smell it it's just like clean fresh fresh air nature it's healing it's like just breathe it in to the bridge oh yeah yeah [Music] okay this is the next one we're going on now looking at our right hand side everyone there is a waterfall that waterfall is known as Kuma Falls one of the largest waterfalls here in the Blue [Music] Mountains what are you going to do CLE hanger CLE hanger yeah let's do it let's do it we'll be the we'll be we'll be the Wild Ones wow oh wow my food is bracing [Music] look at the roots this is why you're puffing not from coming up all the stairs from pushing the mine carts there's a very very steep climb back up there a lot of stairs we're both beat puffed we been doing a lot of hiking lately it's good this made me realize how unfit I am but it stinks oh yeah well oh it's really smelly down there isn't it [Music] back there we [Music] so we're walking up to a shop now that's called Mr pck now this is an antique store and he has an eBay store actually has a television going in the window we looked last night he's got all his eBay store plastered all over and advertising it so we're going to go and see what he's got it says the comic book area down below yeah oh look here's some books oh $175 175 275 for the butterfly as well [Music] [Music] C a [Music] okay so inside that big book shop it was very very expensive I opened up the first two cookbooks I opened up one was 35 and one was 60 so Tom managed to get two books same book and one of them was priced at $16 and the other was priced at $29 you find what you need no I'm asking yeah so we're going to lunch at the lco Tin Shed looks very cool oh we wait till oh look at that so while we're here we're going to visit the biggest gun Museum that's in Australia look at these weapons of mass destruction oh my goodness oh look at this one it's got a bloody dagger does it shoot the dagger what well like it's got a dagger in it does it shoot it out no no it's like it's like if people get close to them they stab them they stab them so the so this stays on there and then the bullets come out but if they get too close they stab them yeah yeah it's B and you can take it off and stab people but they just live on yeah she wanted to know if it shoots the the knif I thought it the knife oh okay I thought it might shoot the knife out ever asked that no oh wow I thought you must have pulled the trigger in the knife people often ask how it comes off okay I'm special W the wood on the B is the same as the wood on yeah yeah there's how embarrassing nobody is has ever asked in if that short thing out must going she's dumb oh this just an interesting question I don't like guns Tom what is that oh that's a desert eagle that thing's huge is that Uzi yes it is Sor I don't take F that so the man downstairs said every single gun in this room belonged to one person as a collectors and he has there's about 400 more guns that they couldn't even fit in this room or have enough display cases for so they're in storage so my mind is baffled why anybody would want to collect this many guns how would you store these oh here he is Ron Hayes donated his lifetime collection of hand gums in 2006 so that it can be kept for future Generations in Australia we don't have guns I've seen two guns in the wild in my in my [Applause] life oh this is cool wow this is an amazing Lookout this is amazing just driving past this big steam train thought we'd stop and have a look we just missed the front of it but uh the front of it was beautiful it's like the old Thomas the Tank train okay Quick Stop um they they must grow a lot of apples around here and this looks like to be a Apple shop I don't know we really just want a soft drink yes can of Coke you want Coke okay creaming s for Tom I got to get Keith the Jam I got to get Keith one oh my goodness holy moly that looks delicious apple pies is it good M yeah my I've got the foil I can't fil in it that was need a dollop of cream okay I'm putting the camera I just gled in my face putting this down so I can eat this is the Hulk hulks spre river that we're crossing turn left on P Town Road and now sadly it's time to go home what an amazing weekend thank you so much Tom
