This Secret Setting Will SKYROCKET Your FPS In Fortnite Chapter 5 (INSANE FPS BOOST)

in this video I'm going to be showing you the best and most important setting for boosting your FPS and getting rid of black spikes in fortnite chapter 5 so if your game hasn't been performing the best lately then make sure to watch this video all the way through and I guarantee will help you but before I start showing the settings I just wanted to say that I've personally struggle with my FPS so I know what it's like I watch so many FPS boost videos that gave me basically useless tips and literally nothing has changed in my game's performance and after such a long time I finally found a useful tip that helps your game and guess what most FPS Bo videos don't even show you this setting if this does end up helping you out then all I ask is for you to drop a like and maybe consider subscribing let's get right into it so you're going to want to go into your task manager and make sure fortnite is turned on in the background right click on fortnite and then go to details Now find the fortnite client that's showing up is blue as you can see right here right click on it and go to set priority and then set it to high all this basically does is makes your PC use it more of its power and resources on fortnite which in return gives you a really nice FPS boost unfortunately some people get an error while trying to do this so if you if you did then don't worry I'm going to show you how to fix that right now and actually I also have a bonus tip so if you didn't get an error then I'll put up a time stamp on the screen right now so you can skip to the next part okay so to fix the error you're going to want to go into your search bar and search up run after this pops up type in regge edit just like I have it right here click Okay now click the arrow next to hkey local machine right here then software Microsoft and keep scrolling until you find the Windows NT so I found it right here then go to current version and under current version go to image file execution options now you're going to want to right click on this then new and the new key now go to the video description and copy the text under create a new key so fortnite client windows 64 shipping now right click under this new key rename it and then paste the thing that you copied okay now you have this new file now you right click on it again then new and key again and then you're going to go back to description and copy the second thing that I have in there there so you're going to want to copy perf options then rename paste this in just like this now right click on perf options new and this time you're going to want to click dword 32bit value and it's going to show up right here you're going to want to go back to the description one more time and paste the last thing that I have there so CPU priority class you rename this paste that in there and then the last thing you have to do is double click on this and type your value data as three then okay and that's it you're done now when you launch your fortnite and check your games priority once again then it's going to be showing that it's on high I had this problem myself and I use this exact method and now it's working with no problem now moving on to the last bonus tip I'm going to be showing you guys an app that you can download on your PC called process lasso and it's a really trusted s so you don't have to be worried about getting a virus or anything like that once you download and run it it's going to look something like this first up you're going to want to go to main active power profile and set it to bid some highest performance now also you're you're going to want to enable Smart trim and performance mode as well then you go to options General then refresh interval GUI you put that to 5 seconds and then you go to refresh interval Governor you put that to 5 Seconds as well on default it's always at one so make sure to set that to five okay now for this next tip make sure you have fortnite on in the background you're going to want to scroll down all the way until you find fortnite client windows 64 shipping now you right click on that then go to CPU priority always and set to high then CPU Affinity same thing always and then make sure all of your threads are selected and then power profile set that to bit some highest performance once again make sure to set this to beond induced performance mode well that's going to be it for today's video let me know what you thought of it in the comments and if you did enjoy then please make sure to drop a like and sub it would mean so much to me see you in the next video
