all of my heart it's not we just didn't get all dressed up to come to church i believe god's preparing something and i don't know about you but i need to connect with god i want to connect with god you the bible is filled with scriptures that teach the value the blessing the power of holy ghost baptism speaking with other towns hey if you don't have it tonight this is your night this is your i got it right from west virginia and we are so glad to have you here please feel at home brother brian and sister ronda mcguire is here right back on the on my right they were here this morning they're from the state of mississippi in the beautiful area of jackson and madison and we're really glad they're here you folks feel at home everybody said amen i don't believe there ought to be anybody that ever walks in these doors that don't feel comfortable and feel at home in the presence of god [Applause] amen and if our pastor was here tonight he'd tell you the same thing and the tuesday night service 7 30 and then next sunday morning at 10 pastors and we'll be back and we'll be preaching next sunday morning so we'll be looking forward to that but didn't we hear some preaching mentioned this morning evangelist for quite some time a very successful evangelist and now pastor in missouri and now in louisiana and he's a wonderful man of god and we appreciate him his family i appreciate his ministry we're glad he's in durham we're glad he's in durham is anybody glad the man of god's here why don't we clap our hands brother jackson come and open your heart how many is going to preach with him tonight praise the lord everybody praise the lord everybody else praise the lord everybody let everything that hath breath giving praise right now for he is worthy to be praised hallelujah hallelujah you may be seated for just a moment i'm so honored and delighted to be here in durham with the wonderful saints of first pentecostal church and you all have made me feel so welcome the staff has been so helpful young men meet me at the vehicle and opening up offices and room and all kinds of goodies arranged and waiting people letting me into the church to pray and just i have been i have been treated so wonderful and it speaks of the tremendous leadership that you not only have right now but the leadership the consistent leadership that you've had for many many many years and uh i uh honor my honor pastor and sister urshan tonight brother joseph and brother ben pastor and sister urshan dear friends of ours christian people he is a tremendous bible teacher preacher man of character uh sister urshan if you can't love and like her something's wrong with your lover and like her you the problem not her she's just a tremendous christian lady and then uh sons that are not bringing shame and reproach to their parents and the work that their parents are pestering but they bring a testimony to their parents and to this church i love and appreciate brother joseph and brother ben ershan and it's honored to be here bishop what a what a legend bishop goater is they say great men are remembered forever legends never die and uh brother johnny godaire is truly a living legend [Applause] some people just some people just they got it he's got it they just class and just abilities makes me want to quit and go work at mcdonald's really to be honest with you when i'm around him it it it part of it brother glendo provokes me to do better and part of it says what are you wasting your time for so as uh i mean just look at him [Applause] if i looked that classy and cool i'd never go home i'd be in front of people all the time that's just how i'd do it but uh i'm honored to be here thank you for helping me today i've been doing this plenty long enough to know that people can make the job of the preacher either really hard or really easy and uh you you made it really easy today somebody said i don't preach for response well i don't know who that is or where they come from but i absolutely preach for response and not for you to respond to what i'm saying but to respond to what the spirit is saying and and and it's it's not a pentecostal thing it's a biblical thing for people to respond to the word of god matter of fact nehemiah knew he knew we've got some walls to rebuild and in order to keep men on the wall we have to be able to keep men in a pulpit and the bible says that he had a pulpit made of wood this isn't all just tradition this is all biblical and he said he had him take that pulpit and put it above the people don't ever dumb down preaching don't don't ever think preaching is with ripped up bleached out jeans on a bar stool down on your level preaching is above us because it is reaching down to pull us up and the bible says that ezra had some faithful men around him and he stood in that pulpit and he he he read and then expounded upon the word of god but he wasn't the only one that had a part the bible says that when the people heard it they stood to their feet they bowed their head and they shouted a man let me tell you when the word goes forth the way you connect with it is you stand to your feet you lift your voice and you shout amen and the reason you need to do that tonight is not to make me feel good but because god's going to give somebody a miracle here tonight you need to engage not to make me feel good i feel plenty good you need to engage because god wants to heal god wants to deliver god wants to set somebody free no [Music] i wouldn't i wasn't feeling too good when i got here but i'm starting to feel pretty good i'm happy to tell you on this sunday night that the devil's still a liar and the truth ain't any and what some of you good people need to do is you need to knock him off your shoulder and whisper it in your ear and put him right back under your feet you're still the head and not the tail you can still give him faith rather than fear you are still the people of god [Music] i really do i'm telling you if i've ever felt something i feel that god wants to work miracles in this house tonight and i'm going to tell you one of the miracles that god wants to work are you listening to me there are faithful people in this house that have been consumed with fear god wants to set you free and loose you tonight and you're in the right place at the right time for god to speak a quickening word into your spirit would you pray with me right now i feel miracles at this house very quickly very quickly i want to go to the word of the lord john chapter number five very quickly john chapter number five while you're turning again i'm so honored to be here thank you for having me uh singers musicians haven't they done such a tremendous job tonight god bless them every usher every greeter god bless each of you everything that makes all this happen god bless you tonight i i i want to i want to use this familiar passage of scripture maybe in just a little bit of a different light tonight and i want to help you understand the power and the the workings and and all the things that can happen right here in in this house tonight i'll try to quickly bring understanding to it but i do not believe that there is a more applicable new testament passage that describes a church service and what can happen in a church service than john chapter number five after this there was a feast of the jews jesus went up everybody say jesus went up to jerusalem when you come to jerusalem you're always stepping up there is that jerusalem by the sheep market there is that jerusalem by the sheep market or a place where sheep gather a pool which is called in the hebrew tongue bethesda having five torches here at this pool there laid a great multitude of impotent folk blind halt withered waiting for the moving of the water for an angel went down at a certain season to the pool troubled the water whosoever then first entered first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had and a certain man was there which had an infirmity a certain man was there which had an infirmity 38 years that's a long time to wait on a miracle and when jesus saw him lie he knew that he had been now a long time in that case he saith unto him will thou be made whole the pope man answered him sir i have no man when the water is troubled to put me into the pool but while i'm coming another stepeth down before me jesus saith unto him rise take up thy bed and walk and immediately after 38 years of faithfulness immediately the man was made whole took up his bed and walked and on the same day was the sabbath i just want to talk to you for the next little while this simple subject i want to talk to you about this place everybody shout this place the the church the house of god gathering with the people of god i want to help you understand how important it is how powerful it is and how it is absolutely certainly something that we are commanded to do would you lift your hands one more time and just ask god that he would help us help me help you god your presence is here you're anointing us here there's not a doubt in my mind that you're getting ready to work the miraculous in this house tonight god my feeble lips of clay they have not the ability to articulate the power of your word but if you would just anoint me and help me tonight god you god shut up you you're seated in the rich wonderful presence of the lord i think it's important that we are continually reminded and i think that it is a very it is very important that we never fail to embrace the fact that the assembling and the gathering of god's people at a place to both receive and give back to god is something that was instituted by god himself the gathering of god's people or church if i could just say it like that was was not the idea of man but it was the idea of the eternal all-wise all-knowing god of both heaven and earth and all that is within a meeting place where god would come down and meet with man and man could meet with god and man could give god that which he desired and god could give back to man that which man needs to be sustained and helped and taken care of we we see this matter of fact uh i believe i can go all the way back to the book of beginnings without uh doing too much harm to the scripture but the bible says that god in the beginning god created the heavens and the earth and the earth was void and without form and darkness was upon the face of the deep and and you see in in six days how that god would create and god would move and god would set boundaries and god would bring forth increase and then god would create man in his image and after his likeness and breathe into that man the very breath of life and that man would become a living soul and then immediately immediately god would plant a place the bible says and the lord god himself planted a garden east of eden and there he placed adam and eve so that he could come and meet with them in that place in the cool of the evening adam and eve wasn't just wandering around the world and god just would happen to come upon them wherever they was at but god would meet with adam and eve in the place that he had planted in the place that he had designed in the time and season that he had called to do so because you see man does not rule god god is still the ruler of man we we we see this progress we we we see we see uh jacob uh and i'm i'm skipping for the sake of time i i could go through so many places but i'll just rush to jacob and we see jacob and and and the bible says that he he goes to sleep and he has a dream and we get the first true description and picture of of what coming to church really is what what what what happens in the realm that we can't see we we understand what we can see and we know all about the moving parts that we're a part of but but that that that day that night when jacob would lay his head on that stony pillow and and and there god would reveal and and god would remove the veil for just a moment and he would give man a glimpse into what church really is the part that cannot be seen the bible says that there was a ladder or there was a connection that was made between the heavens and the earth and there was messengers or angels out and they were descending and ascending on that ladder and and all these things are happening and it's god helping us realize that that that church is more than just a place where we come and sing three songs and pay tithe and offering and it's more than just a place where we come and and and we fellowship and socialize one with another but it is a connect point between heaven and earth where god sets up a channel where man sends up to god what god desires and god sends back down to man what man needs and when jacob would awake he would say this is bethel this is the house of god and then as just to put an exclamation mark on it he would say and this is the gate of heaven can i tell you that as long as you're the side of death and as long as you're this side of eternity you will never be any closer to heaven than when you're in this place because this place is the very gate of heaven i'd also like to propose to you if you can't be faithful to the gate you'll never be able to enter into the city if you can't worship in the gate you'll not worship in the city if you can't clap in the gate you won't be able to make it to camp into the city of this is the house of god the gate of heaven one of the most beautiful types and shadows of the journey you and i are home god speaking to moses and telling moses i'm i'm coming down i'm going to deliver my people but i'm not just a god that delivers people out of something i when i deliver people out of something i'd deliver them into something even better i want to say that again the god that you're serving tonight the god that i'm serving he's not just a god that delivers you out of something but he's a god that has something greater and bigger and better to deliver you into but he knew that man wouldn't be able to do it on its own he knew that to get out of egypt and through the red sea and across the bering wilderness and finally into the land the promise that it would take guiding and it would take leading and if it would take power and authority from something bigger than mankind and and so god speaks to moses there's there's a great misconception that that that the people that the cloud by day was over the people and that the fire by night was over the people and the people just just just casually looked up and whatever the cloud did that's what they did and wherever the fire went that's where they went but that's that's people who's not studied the word for god the bible says gives moses uh a blueprint of the tabernacle and he says moses you're going to build me a tabernacle literally a meeting place between god and man and moses this is how you have to build it this is what you got to put inside of it this is how it's all going to operate you don't get to say so in the design moses you just have to build it according to the plan that i'm giving you out of heaven now and if you do it like i'm telling you to do it it'll be a place that can get my people out through the wilderness and into the land the promise of i want to remind every one of us tonight we don't get to say so in how we have church the bible tells us how to have church it's not something we just enjoy doing the bible says clap your hands uh all you people and shout out to god with a voice or triumph you don't get to decide whether you want a calf or not you don't get to decide whether you want to dance or not you don't get to decide whether you like the music or not because the bible says in psalms 150 i praise you the lord praise him where i praise him in the sanctuary i praise him hell i praise him on the symbols i praise him with a timbrel i praise him on the string dance to my top praise him in the dance and everybody that's in the sanctuary give god praise praise ye the lord you don't get old enough to decide the music's too loud you don't get cranky and cantankerous and carnal enough to decide you don't like the songs so you're just gonna sit with your arms folded up no no this was built after a pattern that was received out of heaven and it wasn't built just to please us but it was built to empower us to strengthen us to help us meet with god sit down i'm just talking i'm going to preach in a minute he said you build it like i'm telling you to build it and he said let me tell you something else moses i'm not just going to tell you how to build it but if they want to make it i'm telling you where to put it you can't put it on the peripheral you you can't put it at the outskirt of the camp but moses that is the singular most important thing that connects you to me and the people that are following you to me and that which is going to help you make the journey through the wilderness out and so it can't be out on the peripheral where people just take a little glance at every once in a while but moses you got to put it right in the middle of everything that's going on now you put three camps to the east and three camps to the west and three camps to the north and three camps to the south because if they're going to get through the wilderness they got to have the church in the middle of their life it doesn't matter if there's plagues they got to have the church it doesn't matter if there's war they got to have the church it doesn't matter what anybody's saying they got to have the church it can't be something they do on sunday and tuesday but it's got to be that the center of everything they do and the glory did not descend upon the people but the bible says in exodus the 40th chapter and the 38th verse if they can put it up there exodus the 40th chapter exodus chapter number 40 and verse number 38 for the cloud of the lord was upon the tabernacle it wasn't upon the people it was on the tabernacle by day when when everything was going good and man could see his own way there was still a cloud over the tabernacle because when man thinks he can see his way clearly he still can't see with the infinite eyes and wisdom of god and so moses even when it's day they need to be looking to the church they don't need to be looking to government they don't need to be looking to politicians they don't need to be looking at anything else they're in the world but they're not of the world they got to keep their eyes on the church they're going to go to church and get direction they're going to go to church and get understanding they're going to go to church and get revelation out and if they'll stay with the church they're gonna stay with the glory and moses there's gonna be some dark times my people's gonna have to navigate through and so when it's dark i'm not gonna put a fire above the people but i'm gonna put the fire above the tabernacle and you go read it for the sake of time i'm going to give you the james wesley but it's in the king james just like i'm telling you he said moses when i moved the cloud you move the church and if the people want to make the journey successfully from getting out of egypt into the land of canaan they don't get to say so in it they don't get to tell us when to have church how to have church how often to have church no i decide all that moses and when i move the cloud you move the church and at night if i move the fire you move the church and everybody that just stays with the church is gonna be all right because it's not you just reading to moses it's my glory it's my glory it's my glory i got to hurry i don't want to go so long that he gets weary with what i'm saying instead of wanting me to preach more the longer i go but you see it brother glendale bleed over you i could go through several occurrences in instances without i'll just jump to david he had such an understanding of the power of this place he he would bring back the ark to jerusalem he had put it in a a a a a a dwelling with desire he wanted to build a permanent house and god said no i'm not going to let you do that and david so understood the power of god's house then he said well if you're not gonna let me build it you can't keep me from gathering everything it takes to get it built one day you talk about having revelation you you you might not let me build it but i'm gonna gather the stuff cause my kids are gonna need it and i don't have time to go through it all tonight but david put it in them you put the gold in god's house and you put the bronze in your house and solomon would get that solomon would get that god would speak to solomon and he would say solomon you build you a house build it however big you want to build it put anything in it that you want to put in it and the bible says you go read it that solomon put gold in the house of god but yet he put bronze in his own house a dwelling you know what david had done david had put it in solomon's heart if you'll put the best in god's house it's a place of safety it's a place of security and if you put the best in god's house god will give you the desires of your heart know this is simple tonight but you just stay with me just a minute david had such a revelation here he is he's been reigning 40 years and all of a sudden absalom finds some favor with a couple hundred people and rises up david quickly gathers us house together and he says we're going now david's got mighty men around him brother go there men that can stand in a field of rentals men that'll get down into a snowy pill with a lion men they these th these are bad to the bone men these for my kingdom they're going to tear down the walls of this city and innocent lives are going to be happening taken and zadar gets this idea see let me tell you there's there's there's there's things in this place that happens and things in this place that that that transpires that has not the authority to take place anywhere else sata gets the idea he says well i tell you what david if we're going to leave the city we're just going to take the ark with us we're we're going to go get the ark from down there at god's house and because we're being inconvenienced and because we're no longer able to worship today like we was able to worship yesterday we'll we'll just do it however we want to do it and we'll take the ark with us and we'll experience the same presence of god wherever we go and david wheels around on zadar if you don't mind put it up there i don't want to think that i'm embellishing this at all and the king said unto zedoc carry back the ark of god into the city because favor is not about me carrying god with me but it's about god bringing me back to his house and back to him and if david has found favor in the eyes of god i don't have to have an online church throughout eternity i i don't have to do social distancing until i'm lost i may have to separate myself for just a little bit but if god favors me god will bring me back you got to get the revelation of what goes on in this place you need to get the understanding out this ain't just a place of padded seats and a decorative pulpit and somebody hollering and screaming now you got to understand that this is the place where people that have favor are drawn and gathered together i know this isn't real polish tonight i'm not trying to be real polished i'm i'm trying to preach some miracles into somebody tonight a lot of people never make the connection to one of the most quoted infamous scriptures and psalms that david would ever write but word comes to david that absalom has been slain and joab has taken care of it and now you can go back to the city uh and all of a sudden as david begins to make his way back to jerusalem you see the heart of david out david doesn't talk about getting his crown back david doesn't talk about getting the herds of the king back david doesn't talk about the stallions that he's going to get to ride again david doesn't talk about the palace that he's going to sleep in this night but when david starts back he says and i was glad when they said unto me let us go into the house of the lord for better is one day in his courts than a thousand elsewhere and i would rather be a door keeper in the house of the lord then have the riches of the wicked all the days of my life you know what david was saying you keep the crown but give me the church you keep the house but give me the church you can take the car but give me the church because when i get to church see david understood because there was this little few verses of scripture spent that said truly surely god is good to israel even the such that are of a clean heart but for me my steps were almost gone my feet had not well slipped because i was getting envious at what the wicked was seemingly getting by with i'm going to tell you why david was interested in the church he said that was all until i went to the house of the lord and when i got to church when i got to church when i got to church when i got to the house of god there was understanding and revelation i could i could point you to second chronicles 7 where god would answer solomon by night and he said you built it but i chose it to put my name there and because i'm putting my name there i'm talking to you about the power of this place he said because i put my name there my eyes are always open and my ears are always listening to the prayer that is made in this house and he said furthermore solomon this is a perpetual covenant it's it's not a type and shadow of things to come but this is a covenant that wherever i place my name we we we could we could deal with all of the well we're now the temple people but okay we will do we have any any people here tonight good at math i just need one good recorded out which is why paul would speak to timothy and tell him to learn to be able to rightly divide the word of truth for lying upon line and precept upon three it might it it doesn't just matter what's written there's understanding and revelation when you get the bigger picture of where it's written and all of a sudden pentecost has been poured out and and all of the traditions and and the feast days and and all of the the the all commanding things of the jews the rituals the laws all of these things they're being torn down i mean peter goes into cornelius house and he sees bacon and eggs coming right out of heaven thank you jesus and fresh homemade patty sausage and he looks over and cornelius is having a crawfish ball and he's like we can't eat none of this i can't even go down there as a jew i can't even fellowship a gentile and god says wait wait wait there's a new covenant there's a better way and and so so so the writer of hebrews would feel the need to start addressing some of these things and he would dress address the ceremonies of the law and how that christ fulfilled it he would address the the the high priest forever who was not melchizedek but after the order of melchizedek but will not pass away he's eternal and really the whole book of hebrews is about a better way a better covenant of a tabernacle not made with hands and and and so all of a sudden you've got jews fellowshipping gentiles and all of a sudden man they can put cheese on their hamburger i mean you don't realize how blessed you are unless you go to israel and you got to choose cheese or beef like both they're like we are blessed oh i better hurry i'm getting hungry what time did y'all put me up here i need to can i have a few more minutes is this all right tonight [Applause] and i think in the jews minds they kind of get this idea of well well i guess everything's changed and all of a sudden right in this book of a better way the writer says wait wait what wait yes you can go offer up a sacrifice for his imperfections before he can offer up a sacrifice for yours we we we've got the better he said but there's something in all of this jesus christ fulfilling the law that did not change forsaking not the assembling of yourselves together he could wrote that in ephesians and it would have been right he could wrote that in philippians and it would have been spot on he could wrote that to titus or timothea and it would have been just as real but you have to understand the power of where he put that everything in their tradition was being dumbed down and torn down and done away without but he stops in the middle of it and he says one thing ain't changing you still gotta go to church you still gotta get together because we're two or three of you together in my name there am i you listen to me first pentecostal church you gotta go to church you gotta go to the house of the lord this is where heathen takes place this is where deliverance happens this is where the crooked is made straight this is where the depression gets pushed back this is where the fear gets pushed out oh you don't need to be scared to come to church it doesn't matter when the apostle penned that scripture of god in his infinite wisdom he knew what we'd be dealing with and he didn't give a call he said you still get to church because if there's any sick among you that have called for the elders of the church everything happens at church you can get healed at church you can get blessed in church you can get delivered to church you gotta go to church ah i don't dumb down this cove it it's bad well i didn't we didn't tell a lot of people we didn't tell our church but i ended up in the hospital with a double pneumonia it was it was bad it's real but it ain't gonna keep me out of church i'm gonna tell you something else that ain't gonna do it ain't gonna paralyze me when i get to church if i if i contradict anything pastor ursian is preaching or teaching around here as of late he's right and i'm wrong but let me tell you if the bible says there's power and two of us joining together and agreeing touching any one thing if i got cancer you just go ahead and join up with me if my marriage is coming apart you just go ahead and join up with me if i'm being overcome with depression and thoughts of suicide you just join up with me when i get to church i'm gonna have church because at church anything can happen anything can happen anything can happen but when i come to church i can't do it my way you know what i kind of feel like during my it's time for you to go ahead and get loose it's time for you to go ahead and get loose it's time for you to push back against the fear and say i'm god's people in god's house let's have church you you sit down i'm just starting to feel good bishop if i get out of place you you just i'm gonna tell you we we we we had church we didn't shut down of course we didn't go on tv with it neither we just did our thing and because we have church for god's glory not our own glory and you interpret that however you want to but there was a lot of churches in louisiana that didn't have quit having church just not all of us was egotistical about it but we kept having church and matter of fact the news and the sheriff come out brother go darren of course we had found favor thank god for favor they called me before they came said reverend we're coming tonight i said well you're gonna get to hear a good bible study they were polite they stood right in the back of the church till i finished teaching it met with them and talked to them and afterwards i talked to the sheriff i said now mr eckle you've been you've been good to us see the bible says for us to follow peace with all men not just holiness if you're mean and holy you just might as well be mean and jezebel how did i get sidetracked is it okay y'all tell brother urschen bishop said i did all right now i ain't worried about him am i doing okay and y'all tell him this boy said too so if i got bishop and the boy i'm but i did i i told i said mr eckle now we're not trying to make no political statement we we ain't into that matter of fact uh i i i i don't know why i'm saying this but but but i'm now i'm i'm red blooded i'm i'm but but i intentionally and this might cause me to lose a lot of favor even with bishop right here but but i intentionally i encourage our people to i think it's their right they need to but just personally i don't even vote because when people ask me about how i vote i just i tell them i'm not into politics i'm i'm into trying to get people to heaven and that's that that's how how s anti being political in the church i am and we got favors with them they they they because they they know i don't vote for them but they need me to tell all of our people to vote for them that's that's just how it works in louisiana we got the best politicians money can buy and people only hate on that when they're not the ones needing the favor but i said mr eckle we're not trying to make a political statement this saint we support you our church supports you we're going to keep supporting you i said but mr eckle i'm not going to quit having church i said that is the lifeblood of our people i said but just like i ain't gonna quit having church i'm not i'm also not gonna go make some political statement on tv he said reverend you ain't gonna get on the news i said no sir he said then you just keep having church and we won't be out there again i said thank you sir but i said all that to say this we we kept having church until one sunday night we had one of them kind of services you know where even the critical people accidentally spoke in tongues i mean they were trying not to speak in tongues but they just couldn't help it they just and by wednesday we had over 80 people in our church with covid ended up losing to i recognize the seriousness of us but i said all that to say this i in just that two and a half week time we we were online every service we were sending out devotionals we were we just listened we we just gotta play the cards we've been dealt and this ain't for anybody else this is just for me but but i watched people bishop that had seemingly overcome things i i watched a young man that that had really struggled with alcohol and he had went well over a year without touching it and had been faithful to come into the church to pray and getting in every service and in those two weeks he he slipped back up and and i remember i remember asking myself would i rather continue to have church and people maybe get sick and maybe even lose some more but they die saved then for me to try to protect their outward man and destroy their inner man i'm going to tell you coming to church is important we we had some powerful online services just like you all have had and we may have to have some more in the future but you can't duplicate this online it it it can be a band-aid but it's not a permanent fix and so i say if you're gonna come to church you might as well have first pentecostal church of durham church [Applause] handcuffing out running up foot stomping up tongue talking laying hands on people watching them get free watching them get delivered out let me tell you you better not be afraid of what can destroy the outer man you better be concerned about the inward man because long after this flesh returns to dust you got a spirit you are to not make him run by himself owl runner in this house ought to be out in the aisles this is still a one god jesus name bible believing uh evangelizing reaching the lost telling people there's a better way church of the living god we're not going to be bound we're not going to be defeated because he who the son is set free get out of here satan get out of here satan now get out of here spirit of fear get out of here spirit of intellectualism uh get out of here spirit of it's got to make sense let me tell you it may not make sense but this is a happy place this is our healing place this is where we get help some of you is wanting to get loose so bad you can't stand it but it's been so long you don't even know if you remember how you just need to close your eyes and get the shake in your head and feel that holy auction come over you one more time because it's still as real here as it was in 2019 because jesus christ is the same yesterday today and forever this is where miracles happen can can i have just a couple more minutes or you want to just i feel something breaking i feel god pushing back for this church right now he's pushing back down he's pushing back fear i i want to quickly you can stay where you are or you be seated i promise i won't take advantage of you but i feel i feel so adamant that i need to just very quickly go through their text can i can i do that just quickly come give him some false hope him coming don't mean anything it's just a decoy to make you think i'm quitting well i feel the holy ghost in this house i'm telling you somebody's going to leave here tonight and get a better night's rest than you've had in a year bishop there's healing power right now it can heal where the miracle at bethesda took place wasn't just anywhere help me young man but it was at the sheep market the sheep market was a place where the sheep was examined by the shepherd he'd bring him in out of the wilderness i've been there if you've never been you are to go see it you think it's this big old place it ain't the pool could fit in this room right here but the shepherd would bring them sheep and out of the wilderness and them sheep would stand there as he had put his hands on them and check them check their hoofs and check behind their ears and make sure they weren't malnourished and make sure they weren't diseased see that's that's where miracles happen is when you put yourself in a place where a shepherd can put his hand on you and examine you i never understood people who didn't want the pastor to put his hands on their children because the place of miracles is the place where the sheep stand for the shepherd not to examine just some of them but to examine the all of them the sheep gate was important because when nehemiah and those jews come back to rebuild the walls and they're giving out all the the the projects god speaks to him and he says now the sheepgate the priests they don't they they don't do a lot of building around here but the priest are going to build back the sheep gate because there's something special about a man of god gathering with the people of god in a place ordained by god it it it gives us a description of the congregation and why everybody's welcome at first pentecostal church it didn't say there was a multitude of pretty people it didn't say it was a place of the rich and famous and it said but but there in that place it was it was messed up people it it it was people who it was people who was impotent it was people who were lame and withered and blind they weren't a lot of good to society that's where miracles happen and the bible says that it was in the middle of all this and i'm i'm there's a lot to this but i've been too long so i'm gonna just quickly get through it the bible says that in in the middle of all this was was a man can i use you you've done a tremendous job leading service this let buses eat up your saturday and you're up at daylight picking up snotty-nosed kids on sunday and then they've got you right back up there you're cleaning up on monday and one why why do you even me tell you about brother beal he just got his doctor's report and and they can't find what they said he had and let me tell you about jeremiah and jamie there their marriage was busting up but but they becoming faithful and now they got two beautiful kids sitting beside them and you never know they ever had trouble i keep going down there because i don't see that happening anywhere else i keep going down there because of susanna she come with needle marks all up and down her arm and she tried to commit suicide two or three times that now if you look at her she looks like she's been in her right mind for the last 20 years because while she was down there something happened i tell you why i keep going because i may not have got it yet but if i'm gonna get it that's where i'm gonna get it now because that's where it's happening that's where it's happening that's where it's happening and one matter of fact brother one you're not just a illustration tonight i don't even know what your need is sir but i'm telling you if the holy ghost ever spoke to me you got heaven's attention tonight and your miracle has been dispatched it's on the way it's on the way [Music] i'm not going to
