This Milwaukee Tool Scam Needs To STOP!

what's up everybody my name is Vince welcome to the channel and if you've been here for a while you will know that I am a big fan of Milwaukee tool but I have to share something with you it's kind of discouraging that's happening there's a huge scam going on and I've kept quiet about it for quite a while but I can't keep quiet about it any longer I'm going to fill you all in right after this through giving you unbiased tool reviews tool testing and even cool deals we will walk through the big box stores trying to find the best deals for you and me because quite frankly I'm just like you okay I grew up um didn't have a whole bunch of money as a contractor uh same thing started my small business didn't have a whole bunch of money and I needed to make the choices that meant I would get the best bang for the buck I didn't always want to spend the most money but I always wanted to get the best product for my dollar you know when I was thinking about how to make this video I almost I almost found it impossible for me to find the correct words because I could never tell you not to click a video that said like free tools because there are times where we might run tool deals where you would get a free tool or it was so nuanced on how to put this video together but here's the deal I'm going to give you the long and short of of what's going on we've been on YouTube now for like I don't know maybe 5 years 6 years maybe even seven years I I really don't remember we've been doing this for a while and we have worked with Brands to test their tools we have we have created thousands of videos we've done hundreds and maybe thousands of tool deals and it's always been about creating value for for the viewer okay we have never asked you for anything to watch videos we've never asked you for anything as far as um you know like like sweep staks or anything crazy like that we've never done any of that stuff here's the here's the deal over the course of the last couple of weeks I've been getting alarming I think would be the best free to use comments and direct messages from viewers of the channel and at first I kind of disregarded them because I figured this was an issue that was taken care of last year it started out with hey I filled in the information what are the next steps I haven't gotten my tools and and at first I'm like what does that even mean I was I I I didn't know anybody was talking about confused then I started getting like hey did you know your face is being used again they're or they're back at it they're using your face to scam people all in direct messages and I want to say thank you to everyone that has sent us a link a video capture a screen recording showing what is going on and it's as simple as this there is and I'm going to tell you what I've done about it okay but I still wanted to make you aware of it because it seems like this will be reoccurring and always happens around the same time of year and I don't know if it has something to do with Milwaukee's pipeline event or Father's Day Memorial Day sales I'm not certain but it always seems to happen around this time of year we were sent a link to a screen recording and a screen grab of a video that promises people free Milwaukee Tools free Milwaukee Tools if you if you are between a certain age group quite frankly I don't understand why anyone would believe that you would get free Milwaukee Tools just because you're between a certain age age group it doesn't doesn't quite make any sense to me although it seems too good to be true people want to believe it so much that they're like hey I will try at least one person that I can remember tell me that well you know what the price was so good it didn't matter if they lost a couple bucks because they would they were willing to try even though I told them there was 100% chance they would never receive the tools they they were so enticed and so compelled that they were willing to lose a 100 bucks because they thought hey it's not $11,000 it's only $100 I just it doesn't matter if you're going to lose the money it doesn't matter if it's a 100 bucks a th000 bucks or a dollar if you're going to lose a dollar why lose a dollar if you're being scammed out of a dollar it doesn't make sense to me why anybody would try so my point is is that if you are served up an ad that shows my face where I am promising you free tools and it is not a vcg construction video you don't hear my voice okay is not on our channel it's a scam it is a a scam do not fall for these scams the current scam you need to go to a web page you have to tell them how old you are I I quite frankly I would discourage you from seeking it out trying to find it looking at it for yourself because I don't even like going on those websites I'm afraid that somehow it would scrub the information from my web browser something I don't know it's too technically logically Advanced for me to even understand but but I'm here to warn you if you're seeing an ad and it seems too good to be true and if you're so compelled and it looks so great you can always direct message us at vcg construction on any social media platform that allows for direct messages and we will do our best to respond to all of you whether or not we believe it's a scam or not now here's the thing if you're seeing my face on a on a advertisement or any type of video and I didn't authorize it it is a scam regardless I'm being scammed and you are being scammed because you're using my like likeness for something nefarious now here's the other thing there are probably other social media influencers out there or people that are on social media that their face is being used as well and they might not be aware of it if you're seeing their face being used and it seems too good to be true I compel you please reach out to those other other social media personalities let them know that their face is being used because we might be saving people from getting scammed out of a lot of money now what we have done over here was we reached out to Milwaukee tool to have them investigate further and I know that at least one of the links you cannot find the the video anymore so that has been taken down but I was compelled to make this video letting you know that this is happening because it seems like when one goes down two more pop up if you have a screenshot or a link or anything that you think might help us to get these websites taken down please share them with us direct message uh at vcg construction uh on any of the social media platforms this way we can see it and take the necessary steps you'll be helping out not only yourself but you'll be helping out other people as well and we appreciate it always remember this at VC CG construction we're here to share information with you we're never here to get your information for any reason so if we're asking for information and we're not giving you information it's probably not me probably not us any reputable website will have legitimate contact information phone number email physical addresses if you are not able to find that information then you're on a scam website you have to be mindful before you're putting any information in any website you have to do a little bit of due diligence and I know a lot of you do but for the few individuals that are wondering you know should you or should you not I would always ER on the side of you should not if you're not familiar with the website so I hope this helps with that I want to say I appreciate each and every one of you
