Hey guys, so today's video is going to be kind of different I recently tried this product out and I liked it so much I wanted to do a whole video on it and I really wanted to compare it to the Dyson air wrap specifically the volumizing round brush I'm sorry, if you see hair a lot in this video, but ever since I did an entire video on the Dyson air wrap Which I'll link it down below. I have gotten so many questions since then asking me if I still use this How often do I use it? Do I finally after so long think it's worth the money and honestly A part of me says yes, and a part of me says no I do use the air wrap often This is actually one of the brushes I use most often I use this one and the one that's supposed to straighten your hair the most I thought I was gonna use the curling wand the most but surprisingly I really don't I do from time to time but Honestly, I haven't all that much and then the ones that I do not touch at all There's two the other brush that looks like this straightening one only It's supposed to be volumizing and it's not supposed to give you a super straight sleek look it's a little bit more voluminous that one I don't even touch because I feel like The straightening one that is supposed to give you a super sleek Look doesn't really give you a super sleek look so I used that one all the time whenever I want to like straighten my hair But not go through the process of drying it first and then ironing it with my flat iron And then I also don't use the actual blow dryer because I have the Dyson blow-dryer already and it's a lot more Powerful than the one that comes with the air wrap. So I used that one all the time So when I look at it that way I'm like man I guess it really isn't worth it because this is like five hundred and fifty dollars for everything for the Dyson air wrap Complete every single part and honestly, if you use every single part all the time, totally it's worth it But since I only use like half of the heads Maybe not. But one day I was on Instagram and I saw my friend Laura. Mrslolalynn here on YouTube I saw she posted a photo of this and she was like do yourself a favor get this is the best thing ever I haven't used the Dyson blow dryer ever since I bought this it's amazing It has changed my hair game And then I was reading on her comments from that post and everyone was like yes, I love it I swear by it and I was like What I need to buy that right now, so I went on to Ulta and I just about the black and pink one Well also because the blue one was sold out so I had no other choice But also I like that they match and the second I tried this out guys. I completely fell in love with it Don't get me wrong. I have a few cons there are things I like about the Dyson more but there are things I like about the Revlon more and That is what we're gonna be talking about today It's kind of a rave review on this product but I wanted to give you some comparisons and also tell you the things I don't like but it's Amazing now when it comes to prices and you break everything down You can't really compare the two because the Dyson air wrap comes with like a million different things. It comes with a case it's like a whole thing with this you only get this this is the only thing it comes with and it comes with like a Little bag, but that's pretty much it. But this does retail for $60, which I think for what it does It's really not bad and I would pay this price time and time again. I think this is 100% Worth the $60. Wow, this guy is almost $600 but again, you get like six different brush heads, you know what I mean? So we can't really compare price I know I am in the thumbnail, but you know, it's just like for YouTube, you know like - yeah But I mean all in all it's still a lot lot lot cheaper than this I have been enjoying this so much and if I had to compare the two remember and just comparing this specific brush head Not the air rap Complete just this guy you can see the difference. I mean there is a huge difference in the brush. This is massive Look, it's like the size of my head. I did want to give you guys a demonstration So I did film myself this morning getting ready after I got out of my shower and I used the Dyson round brush on this side of my head and then I used the Revlon brush on this side of my head, but honestly, This really is a freakin game changer when it comes to blow-drying your hair before the Dyson era I was never a big fan of holding one of those giant brushes and holding the blow-dryer and it's just it gets really heavy and that whole process of like Blow-drying my hair with those two things. It was it was a lot for me and for a lazy girl like me It just doesn't work. I honestly rather my hair air-dry. I mean it's better for your hair anyway, but it was just a process I never like doing until I discovered this round brush head and I would use it from time to time whenever I didn't want straight hair like I mean like super straight hair. I wanted a little bit of volume to it, but I didn't want curly hair either I still really like this to this day. I think it does a great job I love the technology behind Dyson's like don't get me wrong This is great and I'm raving about it today but the Dyson technology is unlike anything else and there's a reason why this is priced so high but I like that this Technology just helps your hair in general. It doesn't get too hot It keeps it like under 400 degrees or something like that But it still makes your hair shiny and sleek and it's so straightens it it's pretty freakin amazing But there are things I would personally like to change on this I do think well, I mean I have pretty long hair I recently cut it a bit but sometimes it would be difficult for me to do my hair with this because I would always have To make sure I was using thinner sections because the more hair I would add to this the puffier it would look and my hair Just always looked better when I used smaller sections of hair another thing about this Which I know is really important for us to do But it has a cool setting and it always recommends you use the cool setting when you're done using the hot setting just to kind Of set your hair in place. I never do that I only do that when I'm using the actual air wrap barrels when I curl my hair But whenever I use this, I just use it in like the same way I use this just with straight Heat and I never use the cool setting honestly sometimes I forget or it just takes up too much time and I rather just skip that step now the Revlon brush this one is amazing because it is very fat and I like that it isn't completely round It kind of has like a paddle situation going on not totally flat like you can see it I really love that because I feel like it makes my hair straighter than the dyson one because of this I would assume that those of you who like a big Bouncy wave to your hair. You would probably prefer something smaller like this the dyson side of my hair Just give me more volume and more shape to my wave versus the Revlon one It gave me volume and it gave me body Don't get me wrong but it didn't give me that curl that the Dyson one gives me although it is achievable as long as you make sure you're like wrapping it and rapping it and doing this like or and over and Over but I try not to use so much heat on my hair for like a long period of time so I just do it A few times and I really do like the body it gives my hair It gives me nice volume and it gives me a little bit of a wave and personally for me if I'm gonna be honest I like how my hair looks better when I use the Revlon one because my hair looks straighter my hair doesn't look as frizzy I am so incredibly impressed with this and I like that it's so big because I can spread my hair around Better when I use this brush use the same amount of hair believe it or not on both brushes Which is probably why the Revlon side? Looks straighter because I'm able to really spread the hair out and really coat every single strand and when I use this one a lot of the hairs are like sitting on top of each other so it doesn't come out as Sleek and when I say sleek, I mean like as sleek as it can get for a blowout Kind of thing. There are other things I don't like about this But I think I'm gonna just tell you them as you're watching me do my hair so I'm gonna go ahead and insert that now Because I feel like a lot of you guys want to see that and I'm like rambling at this point, but here we go Okay. So one thing I noticed while editing this part of the video, I make a lot of crazy faces I'm warning you from now So I'm using the Dyson on this side of my face and you can totally see that because it's a thinner barrel It's not as fat and wide as the Revlon one. It gives me a tighter curl and it's a lot bouncier sore So it honestly depends on what you prefer. I mean that's expensive but it does give you a tighter curl So if your internal into that, oh, I can't speak today if you're into that Maybe you will like the Dyson brush more but when it comes to convenience and comfortability honestly to me They both weigh pretty much the same I was holding them both in my hand and I was realizing that I didn't notice a huge difference in weight So personally for me I don't find one to be more comfortable than the other but I'm sure there are other people who have different opinions on that I'm not sure if you can see here But I was having a little bit of trouble on that strand because if you're not careful as you're twisting the Revlon brush your hair Will start to slide up to the top and your hair will get caught in the top part of the brush So it's not like the Dyson one kind of just does it for you because of the Dyson technology It kind of just wraps your hair by itself. But for the Revlon one, you do have to be a little bit mindful How you place your hair and how you're twisting the brush, but I mean once you get the hang of it it's no big deal and you can see the Revlon side is a bit straighter and the Dyson side does have that wave to it and I don't know if it's because the Revlon brush is so fat and wide and I'm able to spread my hair out better So it's able to straighten it a little bit more but I really like that look I also find that I spent the same amount of time using the Revlon brush that I do using the Dyson one I don't find the Revlon one to speed up the process for me just because it's bigger I don't know if I tried to pay attention to that, but honestly, I feel like they they're both pretty fast Another thing. I did not like about the Revlon one at all is that I can smell my hair burning, you know Like when you use a flatiron you can smell your hair getting hot not like crisping or burning or anything like that But you can smell hot hair. You know what I'm talking about the dyson one You never smell that again It has that super amazing dyson expensive AF technology that keeps your hair like under 400 degrees. So it's really awesome for that The Revlon one however doesn't have that. So I do smell a little bit of that burning scent when I am doing my hair But my hair still remains soft when I use it Like I don't notice a difference in the way my hair feels my hair feels really soft on both sides So, I don't know it could be just like I don't know. I'm trying to make excuses for it It probably is damaging my hair more on the Revlon side. But hey, it's cheaper also Um, yeah, I put my hair in my mouth whenever I do my hair I completely forgot I was recording myself I forgot I had guests and visitors watching me apparently because I'm making the craziest faces. I am so sorry but anyway, this is the Result of just using the brush and I have pretty puffy frizzy hair normally, so I love the result on both sides Let me know which side you prefer in So as you can see from the demo the site where it used the Revlon brush just looked a lot straighter and it's just something I prefer but it honestly it depends on what you like and ever since I got this I rarely Rarely use this brush So now it's like I have the Dyson air app just to use it for the curling wand because I don't even need to use The straight brush anymore because I feel like this gets my hair pretty straight So it's like I eliminated two brush heads with this. I don't know how I feel right now Although I did spend a lot of money on this I'm really glad that I discovered this because it's so much more affordable and I've been enjoying it so much I really wanted to share it with you guys Just in case you haven't heard of it and you've been looking into the Dyson air app because maybe you like this Volumizing brush and you want two products in one like me I hear yes. Definitely check this out I think once you get the hang of it and you learn not to catch your little hairs in this it's a really great hair Tool although using just this on its own isn't enough for me like today I went over it a little bit with my flat iron the tops of my head had a lot of frizz here just flattened out Like this part of my hair right here and my bangs a little bit But the rest of my hair is pretty much the Revlon and the Dyson I just went over it ever so slightly with my flat iron and you can just tell that my hair has like more volume Than it normally does when I just use a flat iron So I really have been loving and enjoying this and I just had to pass the message along Anyway guys that completes this video I know it was kind of short and kind of random but I just felt the need to do this video So I did and I hope you guys enjoyed it. But yeah guys that completes this video Don't forget to leave me a comment down below letting me know what you thought of this video Have you tried out the Revlon one-step brush?
