alright guys check this out Paul is just enjoying the last little bit of light we have camp set up on the top of a mountain Nick is over there being Nick things are good man it's good to get out and do these things but it feels like a good time for me to have a talk and in risk of sounding a little cliche a little cheesy we need to talk about something you guys need to get out more let's roll that intro I'm Tripp Palmer just like drones for a living and Bush planes for fun follow along as I journey off the beaten path of aviation [Music] this is JP also known as the candor he's a good friend of mine who recently flew around the world in a single-engine Cessna 210 so it's safe to say he knows a thing or two about adventures this is Paul goosh LaBelle Lucia goosal Bower I still struggle with that one Paul is a professional paraglider who along with his wife Magdalena is currently in route from the northmost tip of Alaska all the way down to the south tip of Argentina in his Super Cub stopping everywhere along the way in search of new spots to paraglide from I'm not sure what the chances were of us all being in the same place at the same time but we weren't gonna let this opportunity pass us up it was time for an adventure so after a quick stop at REI to get JP some camping gear we're headed for the airport all right I just got to the plane kind of windy out we're gonna kind of assess and see if we want to go try to land on a mountaintop in this kind of wind but what's the worst that can happen yeah that didn't work out all right this is now two days later than when we last saw you we came out here the other day and it was blowing and from the wrong direction for where we're trying to go so we sat out here waited it out for a bit didn't get better so we scrapped it yesterday was no good - but now day 3/3 tries to charm we're going for [Music] [Applause] [Music] this is freaking insane [Music] [Music] Paul what is the plan that is but after this chump into this mountain here a big plane I'm gonna take out the parent and fly I mean it's constantly a constant breeze it's not perfect but it could work so I'm a little excited but sad no this doesn't suck like there's nothing about this that you can complain about every time I'm up here at sunset I'm just like hmm life is awesome the desert is awesome I'm glad we came out [Music] [Music] show me some my bags the soil [Music] all right Trenton Nick how to go rescue Paul cuz he yeah he just lost lift down there so he had a girl and hopefully he chose a spot where we're trend can actually touchdown yeah that didn't quite go as planned but that's cool [Music] so just one what happened dude why did we land here thanks for coming to pick me up well I was getting a little bit too self-confident after got that little lift yeah that's almost on your altitude again and I was like well that's gonna be easy and suddenly the leaf just died again you saw that probably on the drone right oh yeah so I was like he can men everywhere this guy is just so I'm just gonna land here we're a little open yeah there you are yup so airplane chair lifts ride in full effect I guess [Music] I guess I got to name this place it's probably gonna be Paul's pickup I like that Paul's pickup new spot [Music] crazy out slowly [Music] [Music] all right round two of the paraglide from the top of the mountain with the airplane ride attempt here we go [Music] it's moments like these days like these that make me realize what life is all about it's not about making money you can always make more of that or having cool toys because if you don't make time to enjoy them that what's the point it's about using the time you have here in this life to its full potential enjoying the playground that is the world that we live in alongside the company of good friends it's too easy to get carried away with the obligations and the grind of life to get stuck in the groove of work eat sleep repeat endlessly searching for the point where you can retire relax and finally enjoy life more often than not we work away all the golden years of our lives years we'll never get back all in an attempt to enjoy the remaining few I say it doesn't have to be that way I know we have all seen the motivational posts and heard the uplifting speeches that tell us to live our fullest life but what is it that stops us self structured limitations one's often not justified by anything more than the fear of stepping outside of our comfort zone it's these artificial walls that are the true killers here the ones that we allow to stop us from living in the moment in saying this I'm telling you to stop waiting stop dreaming and start living life is too short to eat dessert last [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] [Music] you [Music]
