This is the CRAZIEST Pier Fishing in the COUNTRY!

hello beach bums and welcome back to Navarre Beach pier I fished here not too long ago they've been having some pretty good action so Brad and myself we have driven over say hello Brad he uh he forgot his wallet today well thanks for outing me on that I mean yeah I did I got to his house which isn't very far from my house I guess I could have turned around but we already got here late so it's probably a good thing we just said forget the wallet everything's on brand today yeah food and peer fees and food oh you don't get to eat today oh man I'm getting hungry they've been catching some tuna some Bonita some redfish all kinds of stuff so we're out here gonna see what we can get into hopefully it'll be a good day it's windy it's crazy it is windy yeah the wind is definitely picking up I didn't pay enough attention to the weather when we were planting this but uh should have worn pants yeah yeah you got you got shorts on hopefully I'll catch more fish than you you usually do you right check out the people on the rail it is uh pretty chaotic this is definitely organized chaos it's pretty cool watching people hook up it's always hooked up right here and how they move around everybody works together pretty sweet [Music] potato this week oh hey good morning Brent yeah it's uh kind of crazy out here are they just skipping their lures on top of the water I can't even see anything because of the wind huh crying over here is it a little King yeah it looks like it that's cool uh-oh no oh there you go there you go there you go oh there he is oh sorry I just landed right on oh gosh I think I hooked up I I I I landed it right when you hooked up I don't know where your lot is where's your lighter all right I'm over you [Music] there right here right up here there we go we got it nice work basically yeah double it up on purpose did we just double up yeah heck yeah these are nice fish man the chaos is uh Madness this morning but I got the first Bobo on the board off the pier I think this is my first one of the year off the pier fun fish they fight hard they blow up so aggressive pretty sweet just on spoon we'll get them in the box it's a workout trying to whip a Bonita over the rail crossfit's just revealing how weak I am that's really all it does is it a Spanish I know like that's a huge Spanish dude look at that I mean not for real there's a lot I was just gangs smoking [Music] that is huge man it's on that side oh I think I think it was a king I think did you see it yeah yeah it looked like it oh there we go there we go there we go there we go [Music] that was a big one and he's fat [Music] there we go on the X wrap I got swiped on by a king and then uh got that big guy second Bonita of the day on the x-rap got swiped by a king and then uh hooked this guy they're so much fun to catch especially on the pier definitely a challenge we're gonna give them away somebody's gonna eat them should be delicious yes sir it's a pretty rough day we've even got the Surfers out there goes one nice swells this side of the pier seems to be a little protected from the wind so it's not quite as choppy which is my assumption as to why they probably picked this side of the sea let's see see if another one takes off here [Music] so our Bonita and King bite died down so now I've just got us the gar minnow on a Carolina rig and we're dropping it down beside these pilings in hopes I have some redfish they've been hanging around but the water's a little dingy today just because it's pretty choppy so we can't see so we don't know we don't know if we're on redfish or not and there's a ton of June grass here in uh mid-november I got [Music] something you got something what I'm hung up what am I hung up on but why would your line have gone all the way under I don't know I don't know what I'm hung up on there yeah so Emma on you yeah I mean I'm hung up on something still it's not just you there there's something here you got a fish on his I might have it yeah you might have a red hey that's my fish I'm feeling fish you're tangling with his line because there's uh and my fish is still on there who's blue yeah there might be a fish there can you grab the line did you catch Sean's line with us I think so hang on I can't reel anymore crazy oh my God what just happened what the heck is going on I should have backed up I didn't know I didn't know you caught Sean's line yeah with your fist still on I finally got something kind of if I I mean I didn't realize we were all out of line I could have backed up y'all could have grabbed it I mean that would have been cool though that was cool that would have been that was weird man oh here we go I think I got one Yeah official what are we got again oh it's a flounder and another flounder Brad called him one we got we got a pretty stellar flounder bike going on here my goodness got a flattie on the cigar minnow they are not in season unfortunately it is November so this is this guy's got to go back well Brad we've got ourselves a nice little flounder bite going on yeah buddy I mean probably another keeper but unfortunately it's not a keeper today not today it is out of season would be delicious on the circle hook we are not flying or fishing but it's kind of turning into that but beautiful little gold flounder you can see the spots on there pretty cool fish we'll get them back well thanks for hanging out with us today it was It was kind of tough fishing uh we we had some success and dude it was crazy on the end like when we walked out there were already I don't know how many people but you could not get a spot on the rail but like the kingfish and the Bonito were going nuts and I mean people were like flipping Kings over it was pretty wild but we when we pulled up in the parking lot you know it's still dark sun has not come up and we were like oh my gosh like there are a lot everywhere A lot of people so word got out about the tuna and uh spots on the rail are at a premium but we had a good time despite the win despite the weather um despite you leaving your wallet yeah yeah you had to pay for him to get on the pier and I had to drag the card out now I'm dragging the car back this is pretty nice all the gas well I have to buy you a lot you used to be an intern and I kind of miss those days yeah you know back when we could force you to do things but we need a new intern we do need a new engine comment down below some ideas yeah yeah we yeah let us know if you know of anybody that might be looking for an internship a good candidate let us know they could come video for us for free edit for us for free yeah pay for lunch that's right don't get something out of it I want to go over the setups that I was using on the pier today first what I was throwing for the Bonita and Kings this is my custom pure Rod it's a 1088 Thrasher or rain shadow honestly I can't remember uh commented for me but pretty pretty sweet peer Rod I'm not really into custom stuff but it's definitely helpful it's non-foot and heavy duty can handle some big fish and I've got a 6500 pin Slammer 3 on here with 40 pound Power Pro super slick braid 2A 100 pound swivel and 50 pound mono down to an X wrap this was the long cast model which I was throwing this because it was super windy it only has the single hooks which I do prefer trebles for like Bonita and Spanish and kings but that's just what comes on it and it allows me to cast it a little bit further did catch one Bonita on this but I changed over I did have a Halco twisty spoon on before this that I did catch a Bonita before I made the change to this lure when we switched over and fished for Reds I used the dagger eight foot six rod and I have a 4500 pin Slammer four paired up with that with 30 pound braid and then I just had a simple Carolina rig I was using a two ounce AG Sinker down to 100 pound swivel down to 17 pound fluorocarbon and then a one knot circle hook and this is just for those red fish that I was using with the cigar minnows pretty simple setup but wanted to go over those didn't get a chance to do that on the pier because it's a little awkward on the pier sometimes it's a little weird with that many people and sometimes there's people out there that don't really care for us to be there because I think we're giving away too much information and they think a bunch of people are going to show up at the pier the next day which uh words already out looks like people are already talking and we haven't even posted any videos or anything of what's going on so you can't blame us too much but I wanted to go over our gear so you kind of have an idea of what I was using and what you can kind of look for if you are looking to do this style of fishing but I hope you
