This is how the Devil leads souls away from Christ

[Music] Hey listen if you don't want to be happier please do not subscribe to this channel but if you're interested in more joy check out this clip what's what's the what's the evil ones primary strategy for leading Souls astray how would you sum it up um is this by observation or by a confession beaten out of the out of a demon um it's probably well it's something that I observed beforehand I mean he has mentioned these things in the past the one thing that I mentioned I can't I'm still that's again one of those areas that I'm not quite at Liberty at some point I'm going to ask the bishop to allow me to talk about it because that's something that's so key but I think that the principal attack that he does on people is through attachments you know things that sometimes are not necessarily bad right so having that just an emotional attachment to your wife is not necessarily bad but he can use it against you or even just attachments to our sin and things like that so it's through attachments that he can drive us to end up committing sin or to stall out in our spiritual life because we're one willing to put those aside in order to pursue these greater Goods or what have you I actually want to do an entire I I dive more into this I want to do a whole episode of attachments yeah because there's so much uh based in that that gives footholds to the evil one right this idea that uh I have to have my coffee I have to have this vacation house I have to have this amount of money I have to have my wife uh always alive and nothing look right you know nothing could take her from me and at the same time the Lord's calling me to enjoy all these Goods by having my hands open it's like yeah to him and it's all to me about him then I actually get to I ruin everything when I'm too attached to it frankly I can't even well and the joy things that he intended absolutely irony of it is if you're completely detached from your home your wife your job your income your money all if you Detachment in the end but the reason we're we're not Zen Buddhists right no no we don't become nothing we detach from these things so that God can fill all aspects of our heart which means that when we go to those things our enjoyment of them is actually greater than when we're attached that's so cool but the evil one wants us to be overly attached to everything if it wasn't that a great conversation I personally love these conversations they help me live life to the full and it's great to be able to do this in a way that you get to be a guest just watching and joining me in this journey to the kind of life that Jesus made us for be sure to subscribe so you never miss a video we'll see you in the next one
