it's on there cool that's awesome okay it's Monday and Ben's not quite here yet but everybody's going on vacation it's me and you Hunter what are we gonna do I don't know you tell me I don't know we're supposed to work on this old girl today so we got breaks we got calipers for the back we can't even roll it calipers are locked up we gotta fix that there's pretty big list I hope we can get it done oh they enjoy Florida good morning Hunter and afternoon well here we are again another day it's rollback day it's time to get her going we've gotta get some more plates on it get some running boards on it but we got to go get some steel we're plating it from clear back here clear up these dodges have this section right here that are pieced together and as much force we're gonna put on this truck's gonna break guaranteed so we better play it we got the plate at the mom's house so we gotta go get it but it's drumming guaranteed the holes oh awesome collected our junk more steel so we'll go back start cutting [Music] part the junk and start cutting we're gonna use Hunter's template stuff holy really wow so six inches we're just gonna lay it over everything we gotta unbolt this but we gotta grind this up and where the front cab Mount was cut off Notch this we want one piece front to back Ben's gonna start cutting and I'll start grinding foreign [Music] [Music] brakes on Hunter did it he got them all done I just had to find some copper washers for this it didn't come with one of them but I guess the old the old calipers were stuck so I had to put new calipers on the rear so we'll got to get the other side done and then we can bleed them I don't think they're bleeding out very good so on with that one [Music] foreign and we are done right now we can bleed them you can put the tires back up there and oh dude contest all right come on I'm not very good at it trimming away everything's ground up but we want to shove it through this so we're just cutting a notch to poke this strap through get it clear to the spring hangers so if I Notch this side you see how long we want where do we want to start going up so probably down going up yeah so we cut off our two rounds right at this uh exhaust hanger okay we'll guesstimate it'll work 100 you pass yep okay yes got it you just make it look good to cover up everything I screw up hey [Music] [Music] let's see it all where he's at maybe they have a lot of Huckleberry push and some snacks in the bottom thank you David we appreciate that we'll see if we can trim this off without completely messing it up but that should be the whole frame this should work we just got to make two of these because the other side should be the same minus a few little things should be then we're gonna put holes in it so I can plug weld it so we don't want it to flex and warp so we'll cut holes down throughout and then Sean will weld it in because I'm banned I'm third fourth place now Chad did pretty good did he yeah so I'm like blades we've got it all mocked up it's gonna weld it on now so Sean's gonna get welding I'll cut the other one out and then uh we'll go from there yay then we get grounded I hope that'd be good then it'll look like a truck again then I can get in I need that step old man yeah Hunter just jumps in household guys we need a step comes in handy lifts the tires up though that's true I didn't see done so Ben's got this all cut out we're gonna test fit it how many more Cuts do we have a lock because I got it out yeah two more there's there's emergency brake there's different brackets on this side so so just a few more little ones we gotta line it up make a few more cuts and we'll show you when it's done [Music] oh yeah that's good oh yeah look at that you got it we had to get the heavy weight on it we got this other one in place we had to trim a little bit it's a little bit different on the frame but I just weld it up and uh then we mount running boards unless there's something else we forgot but we'll see we'll get it done [Music] all right we're trying to figure out the steps on these These are kind of an interesting little Slide the carriage bolt up in and make it stay and then we're going to line it up up there and hopefully make it work so we'll get these bolts freed up they haven't been loosened in a long time so so we'll get some arms put on it then we'll mock it up up there and see what we can do [Music] what is this does it go how the heck could be like work yeah it should be right here I went clear against the frame or the fender but basically these mounts don't work too much all right we're trying to put this step on and our mounts Mount somewhere like here so that ain't gonna work so I think what we're gonna do is get just a piece of square tube that comes straight off to it right to the frame do a kicker off of It new carriage bolts should be easy what 10 minutes tops we gotta go find some parts see if we got some steel so we'll see what we can get done so what's the plan here these things or just welded to the frame and that will be the standard device so you can hang onto the door the mirror as we're driving you can film outside yeah there we go I don't know if I trust whoever what I trust this heavy steel for a heavy guy oh thanks that's Sean Sharkey about riding on the hood the truck you're standing on your hood well hanging on grab both doors I've done it on the top of a car right now but he's like no I couldn't let go we were going too fast don't do this at home [Music] making band steps work Square tubes need some slots in them so I got one cut I just gotta make two now yeah then then we'll be bolting them on the truck I think then we'll tighten it down that's gonna work man teamwork are you thinking then I can't I've not gave him one I did that once and it hurt does that help you lose weight if you think you're thin you're I tried that on the snow remember are you light enough to stay on the top of the snow hey that on there and I jump on it a couple times you won't see it but we just weld those stack on them because it's with the body same we're hitting the fender on the front yeah it's hitting back here on the cab put a thing on her and welder like tack or like well just tag GED it on one side that wasn't it does that work that was well I mean when we set it down we're gonna have to test it that's true [Music] actually it looks pretty good attacked that one though holy crap scared right Ben gave me the eye and then I didn't look but I was like oh I'm sorry I had knives in my back or something I was just standing there breathing holy I I could walk up on you lolly the leaker holy crap totally floor you you lurk or you're right yeah it's all in there cool that's awesome Jacks are down it actually looks really awesome too hope so be done I'm pretty impressed with you boys yeah it was funny you were really concentrating when I thought I was I was proud of them you were just like very concentrating I was just trying to decide how how long it's going to take you [Music] that's kind of a high set to hike the old jeans up Grandma show us how to get in there I don't step on it too much cool yeah don't don't do it I don't want you to die it's kind of tack welded I can do it it is kind of high we'll have to get a job but I could do it we'll get a step stool you know I packed the stool around the Sherman's truck out there the old tow truck yeah he made a little wooden still with the handle in it just and we just set it in the back not step on it and get in he didn't want to lift me that's handy I do see a lot of people with the plastic ones those kids sticks yeah with the Rope on it hey so they step on and jump in and pull the rolls up in those are called old people steps or fat people steps I'm going for the old people oh okay I was I wasn't gonna say either so but this looks nice you guys did a great job Ben he's a mastermind now it just kind of worked together we got it done yeah you both did also the hunter was directing this telling us that we didn't do it right yeah yeah he makes a great call he taught us to win thank you um Paul you're learning well from from the master yeah I I think it might be the door falls off pretty solid I'd say I mean I'm putting all my 300 pounds on it I think that's a success right there other step is on we don't know where the fuel tanks are going yet so we didn't actually Mount The Backs but the front's solid so hopefully Florida is good hopefully the vacation was a great time truck is definitely making progress so thanks for
