there's been Titanic disasters 3D printing the warhand Titan I'm currently 3D printing an entire Titan Legion and so far I've 3D printed over two thousand dollars worth of models but the final model by itself is over two thousand dollars and after these major setbacks it might end up costing me the same amount of money in my last video I 3D printed the first couple of plates of the warlord and I snapped the card Carl I don't know how to say it but I snapped an armor piece and I thought that that was bad but little did I know what would come but it's not all doom and gloom in this video folks because I also received a very welcome gift from this week's sponsor Frozen who sent me their huge mega 8K printer let's go they also sent me eight kilograms of speed which quite frankly I'm very surprised me to free Customs this is going to make printing this massive Model A whole lot easier because it's got a 15 inch clip 8K screen with a 50 micrometer resolution which obviously isn't as good as the likes of the mini 8ks and its 22 micrometers but this machine is also literally three times the size of the mini it's an absolute Beast weighing in at a whopping 30 plus kilograms or between 70 and 80 Freedom pounds and after unboxing it I didn't realize how heavy it would be carrying it up the stairs to my printing room it also didn't really help that I literally done this three times to get the shots for the video but that's my work I've done for the week that's for sure before I started calibrating the mega 8K I took out the latest printed plate for the mighty 8K which has been an absolute Workhorse without me having to do any maintenance on it since getting it all that time ago I always stir the resin and the fat with my silicone spatula because while I do it I can also check the Fab foam if there's any parts ducted or worse if it's been punctured like mine had I didn't think too much of this because this just happens and especially when you 3D print as much as I do I'm no stranger to changing the fat foam some printers and it's not a 10 to 15 minute job and allows me to give a good deep clean on all the parts but the last time I changed the Fab was with my mighty 4K so I didn't realize that the pep sheets that I had were too small I placed an order on Amazon Prime for some new flat phone to be delivered and started calibrating the mini 8ks and Maga 8K with the cones of calibration I ended up with an exposure time of 2.2 seconds on both machines and I figured that this would be the best time to calibrate the mighty 8K after I change the fap which after being delivered and opened I quickly found out that it didn't fit either I chose the five pack of elugu's PFA foam for their Saturn II thinking it was the same size but it's smaller than the mighty 8K and it was my fault for ordering without doing more research into it so this time I just searched for Mighty 8K pep and how to wait another day in the meantime I decided to fire up the mega and get as much printed as I could I thought the mighty had a big fit but sheesh the extra five engines really makes a difference I mean a lot of people would agree five inches is pretty big am I right I loaded up the plate with the big laser cannons on the shoulders of the warlord and the rest of the pieces that I had already supported to be ready printed on the mighty I've hollowed as much as I could reasonably I didn't Hollow the feet because I thought having more width on the ground might make a difference which saying it out loud makes me realize it probably won't even with all of this the plate is going to use over a whopping 700 grams of resin which is insane the fat holds so much I'm pretty sure I managed to get either one and a half or two full kilogram bottles into just to get it up to that MAX Line while the mega was printed that plate a whole day had passed and the correct that foam for the mighty AK Kim so I could finally get it back in Action even though I have the Mega Knight and I can print a lot with one plate the counter to it is that it prints slower than a normal printer Frozen sent me their speed resin which is the sign for situations like this and being able to print at 0.1 layer height with good results and maybe if I didn't have a 4k camera zoomed in with eagle eye fears I would have used those layer Heights but I would rather sacrifice a bit of time for more detail and hopefully you can agree on that as well I've been using my own heavy support settings for this project and naturally it's left some marks with the density I've been using also so for this plate I experimented with using hot water to remove the supports and it did help with quite a lot but I can see some shortcomings of my support and game which is something that I'm working on getting better and faster at so I can do more projects like this for you I might have to change either the density or the way that I oriented some of these pieces so if you have any tips or tricks at all please let me know in the comments below I know practice makes perfect but any tips would be greatly appreciated normally I would use the current station's fan trying feature before q a desk though but for these huge pieces and the fact that I honestly just don't trust my hollowing i instead chose to let the pieces dry naturally before doing a batch curing session while printing the next plate which happens to be in my opinion one of the coolest parts of the warlord and that's the shoulder armor I just think it's so iconic of the Titan and I have big plans for how I'll paint this because I've seen so many cool freehand designs and it will be a fun challenge but all I can say is Bank cars this is 3D printed because I don't think I could deal with the anxiety trying to freehand pin on the two thousand dollar version as the week has gone on my confidence peaked turned all-time high my supports were working first go and I'm getting through the pieces at a decent pace considering everything else I have to do having the mega really has helped and I know I have a machine big enough for a secret future project which I'll tell you about at a later date but if you want to support the project and get your own model and what could be YouTube history then consider joining these absolute Legends defending the Titan Legion from the enemy these Legends donated directly to the project through PayPal how which I'll link Down Below in the description if you want to support the channel more and join possibly the best escort in the universe then consider becoming a patreon or YouTube member I had to do all those plugs there because only the real ones will stick around and get to see the absolute disaster that I was talking about earlier so the mega has a huge fat capable of holding one and a half to two kilograms of resume well I managed to run out printing these reactors and I know why my supports were way way too dense for these pieces and ended up not only being an absolute pain to get off but weighing more than the pace itself and they haven't even printed off yet parse I could kick myself right now because I've been checking these prints so frequently but I just didn't notice until it was too late while this might be a temporary setback all things considered the support seem to be working so I'll have to redo these ones and while I'm redoing them you should watch this video next because I started printing the warlord Titan and I regretted it from then and I still do know as always I want to give a huge thanks to all my patrons and YouTube members without your support I wouldn't be able to do this I'll see you all in the Discord thank you
