welcome to Jedi fallen order its abyss and in this video I'm gonna talk about some tips and tricks that I wish I knew earlier in Jedi fall in order now remember to hit that like button and subscribe to help support the channel alright so let's talk about some tips and tricks that I wish I knew earlier first we're gonna talk about a early weapon upgrade so after you finish pagano you'll be able to get eight early weapon by heading over to Dathomir it is simple and easy to get just start at the meditate circle that I show you at the beginning of the video and follow the path that I'm showing you it won't take you about a minute to get there so it's definitely worth taking the extra time and getting it once you do you can unlock the shortcuts so you'll have to travel through this again you won't really be able to complete the map if you just started the game you'll have to go to a different planet just quickly go pick up the double bladed saber and then you'll be on your way [Music] next let's talk about the Dark Souls and this Sakura impressions this game is being compared to those two a lot and it's very simple when you go to a meditate circle like I'm doing right now to refill your health items your life your force kind of similar to what you know dark so does when you go to a bonfire when you rest all the enemies won't respawn again so that you can farm them over and over again and you don't want to get surrounded by a bunch of different enemies that is the quickest way you're going to die like I did in the video but when you do you would just go back to that location and locate which enemy is actually glowing once you find that enemy just hit that enemy once and that'll recover all of your experience similar to what happens in Dark Souls now if it happens to be like you fall off a cliff or something you would just go to that location where the cliff is which I'm going to show you in just a second and just go up to the glow and interact with it but if it's an enemy that killed you you just need to hit that particular enemy once the one that is actually glowing and it will restore all of your experience and stuff so the next thing that we're going to talk about is practicing pairing enemies first thing to note is if the enemy is glowing red you cannot parry that enemy you will have to dodge out of the way but if there is an enemy with a blaster shooting you from a distance and you cannot reach them then you're definitely going to want to parry the bullet back now right now I am just practicing pairing two different enemies and what you'll notice is this damn in a bar will decrease on that particular enemy and once it goes all the way down it'll leave them open for an easy strike so I want you to practice how to parry enemies so that you get used to it which will be very handy in the game now do not spam the block button when you're going to parry an enemy it does not work that way you want to hold the block button in and time it just before the enemy attacks next we're going to talk about performance mode so I recommend going into these settings and turning performance mode on what will happen is it will limit the resolution to 1080p for increase frame rate by doing so your game will play more towards the 60 frames per second and the difference before and after with the resolution I couldn't even tell a difference so that part right there didn't matter but the frame rates if it's at a higher frame rate it'll make it easier when it comes to pairing enemies all right so let's quickly go over changing your difficulty anytime there is four different difficulties in this game and they all have something different with the peri timing incoming damage and enemy aggression I found that the Jedi Master was a perfect balance for me so I kept it right there but if you want a harder difficulty you can change it at any time or maybe you want to go down a little bit lower you can change it whenever you like it doesn't affect any kind of trophies or achievements so the nice thing is there is four different ones that you can pick from and you can change them whenever you like next we're going to talk about how there is no fast traveling because of this and some maps are extremely big you're going to want to unlock as many shortcuts as you can possible and not only that there is no a mini-map there's no markers you can put on the map so you have to pull up the map every single time whenever you're trying to get back to your ship if you do not know their way but yeah there is no fast traveling I tried to search look it up find any kind of clue if there was one hidden in the game but nope there's no fast traveling at all so I recommend trying to unlock as many shortcuts as you can possible this will be helpful when you're going through the map next we're going to talk about the forced push as soon as you get this ability I recommend that you put as many upgrades as you can into it as possible this will allow you to push multiple enemies far push a heavier enemy off the map this is probably one of the most useful skills in the game and not to mention it kind of reminds me of the assassin creed Odyssey where you're kicking enemies off the map but this you're just basically using the force push and launching enemies off the map which is a useful ability to have so I highly recommend that you invest some skills into it early on next up is collectibles now in the description below I have in in a depth guide on how to get all the collectables in the game and the way I show you this is I show you a continuous path I will take you to exactly where the collectible is so I show you exactly how to get them I don't just go to the collectible stand in front of it and then show you on the map here's the collectible good luck getting it no I take you on a continuous path I show you exactly how to get it and in the beginning of every one of my videos I recommend that you get the double jump before you go and get these collectibles this way you'll have access to all of the areas but if you're not big on collectibles because a lot of these chests that you will go and get are just skins for your character your ship or your beedi you know and those might not seem very important you know unless you want to get all the trophies and achievements than they are but if you just don't like getting collectibles so you don't want to bother with it I do recommend that you get these secret ones because they will give you upgrades to your character they'll give you these stim canisters which will allow you to have more health items I believe you start with one or two but they can go all the way up to ten so that right there is at least important to get so if you don't like getting all the collectables I recommend getting these secret ones then wait until you get the double jump and then you'll be able to access all of the areas and get every single one of them that's basically how I did it I was able to get every single one of them and then I went and continued on with the story thanks so the next thing we're going to talk about is the point of no return this is one question that a bunch of people have been asking me is there a point of no return am I going to be missing out on any of the trophies / achievements so to answer everyone's question you don't have to worry about a point of no return you can easily get every single thing after you completed the story the game will basically pick back up after the you just have to hit continue you'll be able to go to all the planets and pick up anything that you might have missed there's no point of no return to worry about you can easily just continue on with the game and search for anything that you have missed next we're gonna quickly talk about some early skills to get when you first start the game I like to focus on survival and force so the first one is survival skills which will basically increase your life that right there is definitely going to be handy then there is superior blocking so when you block you won't lose as much stamina next is force a to mint which will increase your force just like the life you know those two right there or definitely you want to increase it will be very handy early in the game and then empowered slow this will slow your target for a longer duration that right there is definitely going to be handy so those are just two quick ones that I would get once you get the force push I would definitely throw a lot of skills into that one right there because it's going to be probably one of the most useful abilities alright so next we're gonna talk about platforming and fighting so when I first started the game I thought maybe about 90% of the time I will be fighting with my lightsaber no that is not the case there is a decent amount of puzzles and platforming that you're going to be doing throughout this game so I want everyone to you know kind of realize that you know it's just not only fighting with your lightsaber you're going to be doing a bunch of platforming versus fighting so if you come into the game and you're thinking yeah I'm gonna be using my Sabre 90% of the time no that's not the case they do a pretty good even mix of platforming and fighting so just be aware of that so those are the tips and tricks that I wish I knew earlier if there's anything that I missed then please leave them in the comments down below everyone has been extremely helpful with my collectable guides if I end up missing any kind of echoes which I appreciate so much so if there's any kind of tips and tricks that I miss and you want to share them and please leave them in the comments down below but other Nets I hope you all enjoy the video don't forget to
