The Worst ROBLOX Trends Iceberg Explained

what is the worst Roblox Trend I'm sure there's a million you can think of but I have the best opinion obviously so I put together an iceberg of what I consider to be the worst Roblox Trends ever so let's start with the top of the [Music] iceberg simulators simulators have been a popular trend for a while now some of roblox's biggest games are simulators there's absolutely no doubt that these games get a lot of players and a lot of Robo but I hate it all these developers copy the same formula they use these same little cuq boy Gremlins and they all abuse the same egg hatching gambling game mechanics but that doesn't mean that all simulators are terrible some of these simulators used to have pretty unique Concepts and some pretty good replayability but over time it's just become so monetized and lazy that I've grown to hate the trend as a whole horror sorry that's about the level of scares you're going to get from a horror Roblox game it used to be a huge lack of horror games on Roblox there was a time where we used to beg for new horror games but now we can't seem to get rid of them camping ripoffs experience ripoffs back rooms games obies it's also predictable and worst of all the monsters aren't scary and the stories are boring no shade to any of these developers I couldn't make a game blow up like this if I tried but I'm just tired of seeing these copy and paste cash grabs sus games I think you all know what I'm talking about it's a genre that got popular in 2023 and it's been a plague on the platform ever since the term sus in this context is used as a code word to disguise inappropriate content on Roblox games it seems all silly and stupid at first but the minute a kid gets any sort of curiosity as to what they're actually being exposed to it can lead them to off-site platforms that are very dangerous call me a snitch but I don't think people on Roblox should be exposed to fetish content anime now don't get me wrong I love anime Roblox has a serious issue with using copyrighted IP without permission I love playing anime games I really do some of them are really well made and really fun to play and I for one have wasted a lot of hours on these games and a lot of roblo and the developers know it too they know there's a high demand for this kind of content on the platform but we've known for a long time that it's just a lawsuit waiting to happen and all it takes is one dmca to take down the entire game and make hundreds of thousands of people lose their Robux not to mention all the stuff on the marketplace there's tons of stuff on the marketplace that's easily recognizable from the most popular animes and I know these creators are making bank from it I know I'm part of the problem I spend money on these games in cosmetics but we're treading a fine line people a very fine line slenders and no I'm not talking about Slender Man grow up love him or hate him these friendly guys are here to stay slenders are basically just the equivalent of modern-day odors mostly just kids trying to get their online boyfriend or girlfriend but that is exactly what makes the community so dangerous slenders are mostly Tik Tok kids that's true but that makes it the perfect place for predators to be behind those washboard abs and tan skin could be an old wrinkly man but more importantly it's just cringe the way they dress the way they act it's all copied and pasted from one slender to the next if you're going to online date at least stand out I'm kidding don't do that and don't be a slender trolls wait why is the camera on me oh come on man much like slenders these guys are also probably kids just trying to get attention most people blame Flamingo and his audience from 2018 as the conduit for these ugly little fellas but it's much more widespread than that I'm afraid Albert's minions were one thing but since then then Roblox has grown drastically voice chat has been introduced and Pandora's Box has been opened with the user generated catalog the potential for avatars is now Limitless trolls can bully blind and even crash people with the right combination of ugc items and they can even gain a competitive advantage in any game with avatars enabled people go to Great Lengths nowadays to get noticed I think I speak for everyone when I say trolls have reached a new level hey want free Robux visit the link in my profile zillions are waiting for you in my profile if you just click the L scammers if you've been on Roblox for a while you've definitely come across some kind of scam you might have lost an expensive limited item a Roblox account your bank account details or you could even be one of the Poor Unfortunate Souls who's lost a mythical adopt me pet scams are all all over Roblox but by far the most prevalent and recognized of the scams are the Roo scams these come in different forms usually at one point there were obes with free Roo in the title that tried to trick you to log in your account details when you joined yeah I'm not going to buy that that's probably going to give me a virus or something or you could have been one of the lucky few to get a direct message to tell you about an epic offer on a website called robux.gg or whatever where you can collect zillions I see these little green guys from time to time and I won't like every time I see them I get a bit nostalgic shouts out to all my squareheads man you guys probably make up 50% of my Roblox followers all scammers are welcome here man As Long as You Follow [Music] Me AI I'm sure it needs no introduction by now artificial intelligence has pretty much been integrated into every level of our day-to-day lives it has many applications chat GPT can be used to help you figure out what kind of game you want to make and image generators like Bing can automatically create any sort of image that you describe to it if you've been around on Roblox recently which you probably have you've probably seen a lot of these AI generated thumbnails whether you realize it or not these are actually generated by being AI most of the time now the issue I have with this trend of using AI to generate Ro thumbnails is the fact it takes away business from actual artists who put a lot of effort and time into creating art for different games and every artist has a unique style unlike most of what AI image generator tools can create when people first started using the AI to generate images it was a cool and unique and trendy idea even but now there's so much of these AI thumbnails that you can easily point out who's hired an artist and who's just gone to the AI to generate art for them overall I'm not against the use of AI but I think when it's used excessively it really drains the creativity out of your project and at the moment with how contentious AI is it really leaves a sour taste in people's mouths when they see it and if a game's making thousands of dollars at the end of the day is it really going to hurt you if you spend $20 to contract a Twitter artist to make you a thumbnail come on guys let's keep the robots off Roblox it's corporate enough as it is game Fam I'm sure by now you've heard a lot about these people and not all of it is good but who actually are they are they just random Roblox developers that make really bad games are we all just picking on some indie developer well contrary to what a lot of people know about game fam the CEO Joe faren actually worked with Hot Wheels and collaborated with Forza and Rocket League prior to starting game fam on Roblox so this guy already had a pretty big portfolio it was during his involvement with Hot Wheels that he discovered Roblox and founded gamef fam in 2019 by 2020 gamef fam partnered with Mattel to create the Hot Wheels open world which was a Hot Wheels collaboration on Roblox and from there gamef racked up continuous brand deals by March of 2022 gamef had raised 25 million USD this put game fam on the map and made roblox's eyes bulge out of their sockets so what's the big deal why does everyone hate game fam are they just hating on the grind set they seem to be super successful so what's what's the problem well its biggest issue was the controversy surrounding treatment of EX employees allegedly workers were underpaid forced to work overtime and frequently mistreated game fam's response was inadequate to say the least in addition to this major controversy it didn't help that everyone already kind of hated game fam for being a big corporate entity on the Roblox platform everyone sort of felt like game fam had an unfair Advantage with large Financial backing and a huge team hold on vent toist game famam isn't a trend it's a company I hear you dear viewer but I feel like gamef accurately represents everything that's wrong with modern day Roblox things are getting too corporate for my liking it's all about money money money can we go back to the way things were no fake limiteds whenever I'm playing Roblox and I see someone with a rare limited item I always got to stop and do a drip check because there's no way to tell if it's actually real or fake now nowadays ugc has become like the wild west pretty much anything goes on there my Roblox limited stocks have never looked so terrible and it's all thanks to these people making these fake limiteds and all you people wearing them I'm looking at you this has got to be one of my least favorite Trends Roblox doesn't allow this kind of content on the platform I want to make that very clear whenever moderators find these obscure parts of limited items they take them down pretty much immediately but it doesn't matter how many times they take him down because these people keep coming back and making more fake limiteds it's unbelievable stop wearing fake limiteds guys it doesn't make you cool all you're doing is fatting the pockets of these lazy douchebags clubs hey man I've already got a video on this so I'll give you a brief overview if you want to hear more about it go check out my video clubs were pretty popular back in the day when Roblox implemented their update removing all copyrighted audios from the platform clubs died completely and a shell of what they used to be the reason why this trend sucked is because of how inappropriate these clubs were the developers of the clubs would put in inappropriate emotes that everyone would use to online date and harass each other there's a lot more to it so go check out my video Let's Move [Music] Along bypassed content so clearly Roblox doesn't have the best track record when it comes to moderation of user uploaded content unfortunately sometimes stuff falls through the cracks and you get this even before ugc Roblox players have been finding ways to bypass moderation sometimes the result is relatively harmless and sometimes it is downright dis disgusting in the lighter cases of bypassing people might upload uncensored Playboy cardi songs by obscuring the MP3 file and preventing the robot moderation from detecting it or maybe they'll make a shirt that says I love mils or something but in the darker cases people upload horrible anti-s and R clothing or audios there are plenty of communities on Discord and YouTube that solely exist to create and share bypass content stuff will get uploaded swiftly discovered and removed for being inappropriate then reup upload it again using a different method from a different account as a responsible Roblox YouTuber I don't endorse bypass content and to be honest I find most of the bypass content to be a bit too edgy anyway most of the time it's not funny and it's just offensive but I will say there is some stuff that isn't technically bypass content but it's on the same level if not worse for the Roblox platform than an audio with a couple of swear words in it or a t-shirt that says mils on it overall this trend wouldn't be as bad if everyone in the bypass community wasn't so edgy and R exploiters most Roblox players have had at least one runin with an exploiter at some point but I doubt most people actually know how deep the rabbit hole of exploiters goes Roblox has been famously terrible when it comes to preventing Hackers from ruining their games up until recently Roblox has had no form of any anti-che other than automated systems created by their very own developers which are not always effective even with the new anti-che exploiters have continued to find alternative methods to cheat YouTubers and Discord servers have fostered communities of exploiters committed to Breaking Roblox for as long as I remember some specific games like Lumber Tycoon 2 and pron life have historically had the worst reputation when it comes to exploiters running rampant even today these games still contain many exploiters amongst the community there is a silver lining however Roblox seems to finally be taking notice of the exploited problem on their platform and has begun to implement changes the by front anti-che is one clear example of this but another interesting progression is the takeown of synapse x one of the most popular executors used by hackers on Roblox for years hopefully this is the beginning of the end of the exploits trend on Roblox condos as a seasoned Roblox veteran I've seen some pretty wild and wacky stuff on this platform even now with how much the platform has grown and after witnessing the growing maturity of content in Roblox games nothing compares to the depravity of condo games for those who don't know the term condo games was first coined around 2017 to describe the experiences where players could join explicitly to roleplay sex acts with each other some would use this term to describe Alex Neutron's Meep City parties which did contain inappropriate activities no doubt but even that cannot compared to True condo games the real condo games give players the ability to get naked to perform real sex acts with each other in game the naked bodies are deliberately way too explicit for Roblox giving the players exaggerated Anatomy to immerse themselves in their wicked perversions my first exposure to the condo games was by complete accident by the way I swear about four or 5 years ago when it appeared in my recommendations page during a period of Roblox where Bing players in games was extremely prevalent the Casual player now will probably never come across this kind of content without actually searching for it but that doesn't mean it's hard to find at all there's plenty of content on YouTube that gives exposure to this topic and an abundance of content that tells you how to find the condo games this is extremely dangerous for kids even if you're 18 I do not recommend joining any of these discords or engaging with these communities at all quite frankly I don't think this kind of stuff has any place on Roblox and the fact that the trend exists on a kids game in the first place is appalling I can only hope that Roblox continues to work on their moderation and end condo games for good hey brosi looks like we finally reached the bottom of the iceberg thanks for sticking around
